Usually my experiences at Doms are great. I go there almost daily but I will NEVER be returning again... It was later in the evening and I was the only car there. I asked for a toasted bagel without cream cheese on the bagel because I am lactose intolerant. I got about 2 minutes away when I realized there was cream cheese lathered between both slices of the bagel. Naturally, I turn around and head back to the establishment because I didnt get what I paid for. When I return to the window, the guy there begins to argue with me. He claimed he couldnt take the bagel back because I touched it. Puzzled, I asked what that had to do with the fact that he messed up my order and I dont have what I paid for. He still insisted that he couldnt correct his mistake because I touched the bagel. So I asked himwhat me touching it had to with it, was he was planning on reselling the bagel that I already drove away with? He told me "I cant eat it now, because you touched it" This continues for about 3 more minutes, me asking to receive what I paid for and him refusing to correct his mistake, despite the fact that I come there daily... Eventually he throws my money at me and walks away. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

This is a hole-in-the-wall place, but has great donuts! Actually, they are pretty much the only donuts I can eat that dont leave me feeling poorly afterwards. If you want super fresh, go around 9p - they are warm. (That is the only time to buy the apple fritter, IMHO.) I typically stick to their cake donuts due to watching the calories, but have had a variety over the last few years and they are all good. I just introduced some friends to them - who are self-professed donut connoisseurs - and they all said these were the best donuts in the area theyd had. . . Someone bought one of their cakes for work and it was quite tasty, as well. You can buy cake slices, if you are in the mood for just a piece. . . I havent been super impressed with their cookies, but that is due to personal preference - I prefer moist and they are on the dryer side. . . .There is seating. They sell coffee (dont know what type) and bottles of drinks - various pops, milk, etc.Cash only.

I have been coming to this bakery for years and mostly the experience has been good. Within the last year, I have seen an increase of new staff and less familiar faces, and with that said my experience has shifted somewhat. I love the donuts here and in my opinion, these may be the best donuts in the area, but I have had a few instances where I would stop by more than once in a day for a few donuts (shameful I know). I usually get the same donuts every time I come but this elderly female cashier is the only one there that changes the prices on me. I got the exact same items and my prices was different every single time. I have since stopped going because I do NOT agree with that practice whatsoever.

Ive been going here since I was a little kid, my parents used to take us here every Sunday after church. They have a really great selection of donuts and pastries, and everything is really inexpensive. The quality has remained consistently good for as long as Ive come here. They have a drive thru but no outside menu so I dont tend to use it unless I know exactly what I want, but its a nice convenience to grab something really quickly on my way somewhere. The service is also really excellent, literally everyone Ive been helped by there has been really helpful and nice.

This place is the best! There are no better donuts!! Even beats out my previous favorite donuts from Donnas Donuts in Flint, Michigan!!! Make sure to try the Danishes because they are to die for!!!! Whatever your donut craving is it will be satisfied by their amazing selection... Everything tastes better at Dom Bakeries!!!!!!! And since no donut experience is complete without milk or coffee Dom has a selection of these and other beverages. To make it even better... Satisfy your donut craving here 24 hours a day so you can enjoy it anytime you would like.

I have only ever tasted their glazed donuts but they are simply the best I have ever had. If you get them while they are warm they melt in your mouth with little pieces of sugar crumbling all over your blouse. The reason for 4 starts is that it is quite inconvenient to only take cash, regardless if they have an atm. I dont know about you but I try to avoid atms because of the 2 to 5 dollars fee added to using it. But still try the donuts, you wont be disappointed!

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon after seeing that it had a fantastic rating on Google Maps. So to put the bakery to the test, tried the long john without filling, sour cream donut and the peanut donut. Each donut was a sugar high. They were very fresh, not stale at all. Not to mention also very cheap. The long john actually tasted very similar to franchise donuts. But each one was a wonderful experience nonetheless. Im definitely going to revisit here again.

We have loved Doms for a long time. When we wanted to celebrate one of our friends birthday, and she loves muffins, we scouted around and heard that Dexter Bakery had the best muffins. We drove to Dexter, and my wife had an "average" sugar donut and I had a burnt, dry apple fritter and we bought a variety of muffins. The muffins got not one good review when we sat down with our friends the next day. Doms: you are a treasure. Only wish you were in Ann Arbor.

THE FRITTERS Perfectly crispy on the outside, nice and doughy on the inside. Utterly ideal. They dont have the biggest selection, but theyre honestly the best donuts youre going to find anywhere nearby. Ive never used the drive-thru because I know Id just take forever trying to decide and would end up with a dozen furious drivers behind me. I have definitely stopped in at weird hours to make half-drunken donut decisions, and I regret nothing. NOTHING

I was always looking for a local, non-chain bake shop for donuts since they are always way better than Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts. Dom Bakeries did not disappoint. So good! I didnt realize they were cash only so I was preparing to use their ATM to grab some cash. I checked my wallet just in case and realized I was 5 cents short, and the clerk said no problem, that it was enough. I will definitely go back here any time I have a donut craving!

Excellent doughnuts and very friendly service. Unfortunately, the seating area is quite possibly the dirtiest Ive ever seen. I believe there is dirt on the seats from decades ago. Also be warned, if you throw a bottle in the recycling trash can that sits in the dining area, expect an eruption of flies. I dont recommend eating in, and I pray their work area is MUCH cleaner than the area they expect their guests to use.

I cant get over what a gem this place is. They only take cash, the place is small and family run. They are open 24 hours and absolutely addicting. Im not sure how they make the center of their donuts so soft and the outside so crisp, they are talented bakers and I cannot stop coming back. Ive had way too many donuts but I love their chocolate cake donut the most and their danishes are also to die for.
