This restaurant is a dumpy cafeteria style eatery, run by poorly trained high school students. The service was beyond bad, almost intentionally rude. And the food was processed Gordons garbage that I wouldnt serve to anybody. Stay away from this dump! Details are as follow. I had never been there before, so I asked the woman behind the counter "if we ordered an appetizer, would they bring it out before our meal?"... She actually rolled her eyes and shook her head, as if that were a stupid question. She then said "yes" in a surly tone, so we ordered the Gunpowder Dosa for an app, and chicken tikki masala. Then, after giving me the evil eye for asking a stupid question, they actually forgot the appetizer. Then, as we were finishing our meal and preparing to leave, they brought our Gunpowder Dosa, but forgot to put gunpowder seasoning. The food was terrible. Seemed like Gordons processed frozen chicken, with indian sauce on top. Some of the meat was ice cold, as if the teenagers behind the counter hadnt microwaved it long enough before they dumped a ladle of boiling sauce over top.

I had a not so great meal from Curry On about a year ago, but decided to give them another go. This was a mistake. I ordered 2 Samosas and Chole Bhature. To be fair the samosas were ok, but the Chole was greasy/overly onioned and meh and the bread that came with it was incredibly undercooked. Two raw brown lumps with no air that were visibly underdone. Very disappointed (oh and I called to let them know and was told "well I served like 10 of those and no one else complained")_ Go to Cardmom it is close, and way better.

We discovered this place by accident, and now its our go-to when in Ann Arbor for doctors appointments, so much so that we look forward to it. The food is excellent (Ive tried the butter chicken, the onion uttapam, the fries, the sambar, and the samosas), the service is friendly, and they even have great ice cream. We usually are there in the middle of a day when its slow so maybe that affects how good the service and food are, but weve always been pleased.

Curry Up is AWESOME! Its quick, affordable, and delicious!!! They use high quality ingredients and you can tell. No mystery meat served here. Just good quality, well manicured chicken. My new go-to place for Indian food! If you are headed there during the lunch hour for take-out, I would call your order ahead because the line can get long..

We ordered carry out from here for a work lunch, and for some reason they werent able to offer samosas or fries. All the other food we tried was good though - aloo tikki, butter chicken, curry on fried rice, paneer kabobs, and paneer tikka masala. Flavorful and not too spicy for those who dont like spicy food. Love the variety on the menu!

The place is small and mostly for takeout. But the food is just terrible. Friend ordered some kachori and got three tiny balls for it. I ordered a gobi manchuri and it did not taste good at all. Absolutely no flavor. And there was a mound of rice to go with it. There are far better restaurants downtown for around the same cost.

Quick, satisfying, and priced right. I stopped in and bought some Gobi Manchurian for the next day and a veggie wrap for dinner that day. Both were exceptional, even the Gobi after letting it sit overnight and reheating. The Gulab Jamun was also on par, exactly as I remember it. Will definitely be ordering/stopping in again soon.

This is the absolute worst Indian food Ive ever had.. in fact, I wouldnt even go so far as to call it Indian food. It had heat with no flavor and tasted salty and artificial. Also, when I ordered the chicken tikka masala, nowhere did it say it came in a wrap but thats what we got. Gross. I will never be ordering from here again.

I was disappointed with their lack of recycling. I believe they had a place for bottle returns (since they get $$ back for that) but nothing for paper/plastic, I felt bad throwing all of that stuff out. The food was alright, nothing to write home about but the prices werent high either so it all evens out.

Love the food! The menu consists of mostly vegetarian food but you can get meat items as well. I am not a vegetarian and i still really enjoy the food here. I have also have tried numerous vegetarian dish and they are tasty. Worth trying this Indian street food style menu. Great place for lunch.

This is absolutely the worst Indian food I have eaten. No flavor. Tasteless. Ordered a chicken biryani which seemed like separately cooked chicken drumsticks put in rice with minimal spices. Even the potato and chicken curry had no flavor. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Interesting and delicious take on Indian food. The butter chicken was pretty standard, but delicious. The Cholle Bathure has two giant fried & puffed bread things, with some chickpea curry. My favorite was the Masala Dosa, a ginormous crepe filled with potatoes and peas.

I think the food is excellent there although I wish the price was a tad lower otherwise great place :) we have tried a large number of things there, it has all been great so far, no complaints on food and even our 2 year old boy loves it.

I love the samwich(Samosa + sandwich) here! Whenever Im in Ann Arbor, I almost always make a pitstop here. The chaats and meals are good too. Also the mango lassi, really good. They good improve the masala tea, not a big fan of that.

Nice place for Indian fun/casual food like chats. They have a few other dishes for lunch and dinner too which are ok. Curry On fried rice is more like tadka rice than fried rice. Very less veggies too, not worth.

Best Chole by far, I have been up and down the east coast and always find my self comparing it to all the other places, they must have a ancient family recipe or some sort of chole grand master making it.

A go-to lunch place. Theyre quick! And most importantly delicious. Its street food so the menu isnt as extensive as other Indian restaurants. And the people are friendly.

Honestly, you can get a Chicken Tikka Masala Roll & Masala Waffle Fries for under $10. Staff is great and so is the cheese! Recommend the Samosa, as well.

Low price, good taste. I love the yogurt. Its true that they only offer street food. So dont expect full entry or large portion here.

There are better choices. Try NeeHee in Canton or Krishna Caterings in Farmington Hills. Curry On is marginal at best.

One of the best restaurants for Indian fast food in Ann Arbor area. Still needs to improve, so giving a 4-star.
