Ordered fried rice for delivery. Was enjoying my fried rice until I came upon something "chewy" in my mouth. I reached in my mouth and pulled out a band-aid. The band-aid was still in a circle. This also indicates that the rice was being mixed by dirty hands. Absolutely disgusting! I called Lucky Kitchen to complain and when I did, nobody could speak English anymore. ---Update----The owner has offered a free meal on credit. However the meal I was served had a blood soaked band aid in my fried rice that was still in the shape of a circle. This meant that the cook was mixing the rice with their bare hands and the grease made the dirty band aid slip off their fingers into the food. Thats how the band aid maintained its circle in the shape of the cooks finger. If the cook used gloves to do the mixing, the band aid would have fallen into the glove and not the food. So I was fed dirty hand mixed rice with a blood soaked band aid that I chewed on and had to pull out of my mouth. The owner wants me to take a free meal?!!! No thanks. A refund with follow-up to the problem would have been a better solution. To serve me another meal is insulting. To further insult, when I called Lucky Kitchen to report this, all of the sudden nobody could speak English. They spoke English when I gave my delivery order and obviously someone can type English in their replies to Google reviews. The canned and pandering responses to the Google reviews from Lucky Kitchen show their lack of understanding the issues and unwillingness to correct problems.

Read through past reviews but chose to ignore the negatives (bland food, poor service) and give them the benefit of the doubt. So far, this has been a poor choice. Received half the original order- though luckily was only charged for what I did receive. This was a gift from the work staff for good work, and so far the restaurants lack of listening/follow through has only cause workers to miss their lunch and go without food for the day. We were told weve been put in the "credit book" (which is nice, since we didnt actually purchase the food) but I will have to update in the future to verify if this is a real thing or just a method at keeping us from writing a negative review (whoops).

well the address is 2370 S Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48186 and not in ann arbor BUT first time ordering take out from this place and i was surprised. The food was pretty good! i got almond chicken, chicken lo mein and wonton soup. The almond chicken was good, the lo mein needed a little soy sauce but still was good. Big chucks of chicken breast meat in it unlike other places they use chicken scrap fatty pieces. And the soup was piping hot and delicious. I spent $15 and i have leftovers after for 2 big plate fulls. Im picky about chinese food but i would for sure get food from here again. Good chinese cuisine and i got alot of food for my money. i would recommend this place to people

Im not usually a critic, but I was invited there. But anyways Lucky Kitchen is probably the finest when it come to Chinese food, Maybe because the owners are Chinese. But lets cut to the chase. If you want very fine food for a low price come here and enjoy, like their Kung Pao scalops and their fried dumpings and the best egg drop soup Ive had. I am picky about my food I eat but the food reached my limits of greatness. This restruant has all Pros but no Cons. Lucky Kitchen does have a catchy name but what even more catchy as the food. I did come out of there full and had to say my good-byes but I will mark my word Ill come there hungry for more.

They got my delivery order wrong, sent another guy (not the one who delivered the wrong order) to take back the food without giving me a refund in the process. When I called them they said they will send the delivery man to refund me in cash (whom Im still waiting for after 30 minutes). The lady who answered the call kept telling me that she just took over the shift, had no idea what happened and couldnt find my order. To be fair their food has been OK in the past, but service reliability is horrible. Update: the delivery guy came to refund.

While coming here over the years, Ive noticed the staff has been treating the customers worse and worse. While ordering my food last week, Ive noticed that they over charged my order, even though the price was different on their menu. When Ive mention the price difference to them, they did nothing about it. Their wait time has been getting longer. I wouldnt recommend getting delivery. Their place is filthy and Ive also noticed that the staff has handled food without washing their hands after handling with cash. Would not recommend!

This was the worst chinese food I have ever eaten. Honestly, if i could have given it 0 stars I would have. The sweet and sour chicken tasted like I was eating a plain dinner roll, for it was very tasteless. This was also $10.50 for a small portion. Also, as an AMERICAN, I should be offered a normal set of silverware to eat with. I had to actually walk next door to Wendys because I was in need of food that actually filled me up. Gotta go poop now (~10 minutes after)

I didnt like anything about this food. It was terrible. I cant believe their still in business serving up warm garbage like that. I almost threw up ! It might have been good when it opened, but it seriously went downhill. Half of the staff werent even Chinese! I live with two roommates from China, so I know firsthand what traditional Chinese food tastes like. Anyone who can possibly say this is good food must have very low standards.

Lo mein were spaghetti noodles horrible. Not the traditional if you will. Iiterally 1$ or less box flour noodles. Ive been seeing a trend around chinese resturaunts lately. Like I wont notice. Anyway fried rice for combo is in a big thing already done up. Scoop n serve. Mediocre. The main dishes are good though. Skimp on rice of course. Large meal only get pint if rice.

One of the worst Chinese ever!! Fried rice was extremely dry and General Tsos chicken had way too much batter around the chicken. Broccoli was old and dry to the point it felt like chewing on a cardboard. Only thing edible was hot & sour soup. I do not expect Chinese restaurants to use fresh ingredient, but this was unbearable. Never eating here again.

Very mediocre food with absolutely horrible customer service. Food takes up to 4 (!!!) hours to arrive from the time you place the order (and I live 10 minutes from the Plymouth Road location), and the staff is very rude and unapologetic if you call to check on the status of the order.

I have tried nearly every dishes and I am telling you, except for stewed beef, every dish just tasted awful. If you want some real chinese food, this restaurant is definitely not a good choice. I wish there is another chinese restaurant near my houseTT

Our goto place for Chinese delivery. Biggest shrimps of any other. Consistent quality and delivery time way out to us. I used to go in a watch them make it fresh. Its a very small place that they make work well. Combo meals are the best deals.
