I had the combo fajitas. This has a little bit of each if the meats including shrimp. Was awful. I think all the items were pre-cooked that morning or the day before, stirred together and then simply placed on a hot skittle. The tortillas were over microwaved so they got really hard once they coolef down. It was 16.95 so not cheap....I probably wont give this place another try. My friend had a beef taco for her meal and she said it was good. The place was not extremely busy. It was about 8pm. I dont understand how a restaurant doesnt actually "cook" your meal !! If I wanted "fast food" I would have gone to Taco Bell

It was OK. The service was slow. I was a little surprised by being served carne asada as a "steak dinner" - strip steak served unsliced as its own piece of meat. (Ive never had it any other way except thinly sliced with tortillas and sides.) I was told that my way was called the fajita preparation . . .in my mind carne asada and fajitas are entirely different. Oh well. The chips and salsa are very good and bottomless. Its OK if you want to scratch your tex-mex itch.

I used to orderived here all the time and it was so good. They made some changes to the menu. Theres no more tamales and some other things that I cant remember. Recently I had to throw almost all of my order away. I ordered a chicken taco chicken enchilada and fish taco. The first bite of the taco was soooo watery I almost threw up. Everything was soggy. It was gross. The only thing I ate was the fish taco because I was starving but it was overcooked.

The seating was fast and the service excellent. Food was delicious. I had fajitas with steak ,shredded pork, chicken and shrimp I also received a black beans,and rice. For toppings there was tomato salsa sour cream and guacamole all were delicious. I was very impressed that management came over and asked how we liked our meal and thanked us for coming. 2 thumps up

Was here on June 4th for our anniversary, the sign on the door said free queso with entree purchase. We asked about it prior to placing our order, and was told it would be "4 something". After asking our waitress again, she said we would have to have had a coupon? Nowhere on the sign or website did it say we would have to have a coupon!

Chicken quesadilla was perfect--tortilla was crisp, cheese just right (not greasy), and the guac, salsa, and sour cream amounts were also just right. Chips and salsa were great, too. Best part was how well they treated me when I was exhausted from a very long day. These friendly people cared for me like I was family!

I go here all the time with my husband and we love it! We usually go through 3 bowls of chips and salsa, they are so good. Great food for very reasonable prices. The frozen strawberry marg. are the best Ive ever had anywhere. The Kaluah ice cream pie is also delicious! Service is always, always good!!!

We are regular customers at On The Border. The food is outstanding in taste and quality of ingredients. The servers are excellent. Many of them have worked there for a significant length of time. Always fast to greet you and take your order plus they know us since we go there frequently. .

I ordered the fish tacos to go. Maybe it was the long walk across the parking lot to my hotel that caused the taco shells and the fish to become extremely tough. The portion size was good, but then again mediocre food is mediocre food regardless of the amount one is served.

First outing with hubbys broken leg. He uses a knee scooter. This is a completely new challenge for us! No problems with access to building or rest room. Staff was very accommodating with seating. The food, as always was wonderful as was the service. Great experience!

Disappointing. Went ine other time & food was good. Went back today, especially before posted busy dinner time & was told wait was "somewhere between 25 and 55 minutes. You really should have made a reservation" so we left to find another place for a birthday dinner.

Its good food & I love the pulled brisket tacos! Service is good, place is clean. Only complaint is that they recently changed their free salsa at the start to a VERY spicy recipe. I like hot, & I have a very good tolurance but this was too much even for me.

I always enjoy my trips to Springfield because On The Border is a must stop. Im a native Texan and this is the only Mexican restaurant that has been able to please me since I moved to Massachusetts 30 yrs. ago. Great service and good food and beverages

The food was good. However, the waitress suggested a strawberry margarita which was awful by the. After letting the waitress know about the drink my wife ordered the waitress did nothing to mitigate our complaint. The over all experience was okay.

We come here probably once a week. Always sit in the bar. Staff is very friendly. Deb, the bartender is awesome! Food is very good. Love the Ultimate fajitas. The dos equis fish tacos are awesome too! Definitely our stop in bar.

We were there for 45 minutes before our orders were taken. When my dinner finally arrived, my food was cold. We had three waitresses during our visit, which probably contributed to the long wait to have our orders taken.

Probably the best Mexican food available in Western Mass. The restaurant itself is also very pretty both inside and out and has and has great decor and lighting inside to give you that Mexican Cantina feel.
