Coach Grill used to be one of our favorite spots. They had great food, great service and great staff. Since the reopening after their fire in the spring and now under new management, we were extremely disappointed. To start, we had to leave the restaurant to return home because one member of our party forgot her ID and they would not serve her. Had the rest of the group not been already settled with drinks, we would have just left. Safe to say this group is a lot closer to 50 than to 20, so this was a ridiculous inconvenience. When the food came, the appetizer portion of the calamari was significantly smaller than it had been on all previous visits. Our waitress confirmed that the portion size had been reduced. The shrimp cocktail portion size was also reduced from 5 shrimp to 4 and the shrimp themselves were smaller. The restaurant was empty when we got there and empty throughout our meal. For a place that used to have to park guests across the street in the bank lot, we were able to find spaces right in front of the door, twice. The place still smells like smoke from the fire. Apparently many of the old staff have left and gone to Flank, the new steakhouse in Waltham. We wont be going back. 2 star rating earned for the great service from our server, Liz. She was a fantastic bright spot during an otherwise disappointing evening.

Fabulous place for a celebration or fine dining experience. We came for my mother in laws 60th birthday, and my father in law worked closely with the manager to print a special birthday menu. They were beyond accommodating and extra sensitive to a peanut allergy at our table. Kevin was a fabulous waiter - and they steak was cooked to perfection... Times 8! Loved the presentation of the martinis and i had a delicious peach champagne cocktail. Side note: Kevin shared that they served 780 Thanksgiving dinners yesterday!

Used to be great with Peter Foley as the 20 year plus bartender who Peter Peter Foley brought many people into the Wayland restaurant but was not rehired because he was mistreated when an incident occurred n Wayland. We hear he did not want to come back officially but not true. Find a way to bring him back and your bar business for both drinks and food will increase in Wayland. BIG mistake not convincing him to come back despite mistreatment, We know the real reason he had to leave . R Tear

Love this place! No matter what my husband and I order, it is simply great. We even get takeout, and that is good too. The food , the service, everything is excellent about this place. The problem is that it is so popular, that even with the number of parking spaces available, it can can sometimes be a challenge to find parking. If that is the biggest issue, that should tell you something. Can be a little pricey, but well worth the money. Highly recommended!

The staff was very pleasant, and knowledgeable. - Offered suggestions on wine pairing based off my wifes preference and meal, not price mark. - Gave great insight on menu options, that wound up being a deciding factor to me ordering the swordfish. - Decorum of restaurant was great, it wasnt too dark, it wasnt bright and the seating is perfect for a romantic evening with the wife or a birthday celebration with family and friends. I cant wait to come back!!!

What an experience at the Coach Grill, from the time I stepped in the door until we departed. We were all made feel special from the manager Christopher Kelly to our lovely waitress Nicole and everyone in between. Food was Amazing, Wine outstanding. Looking forward to going back, the Caymus 40th Anniversary is still lingering in my head. The experience was as great as the wine.

The food here is very good. They had a Prime Sirloin from Abe & Louies (in the same restaurant ownership) that was terrific. Also, the Buffalo Mozzarella and Tomato Salad was a very nice starter. The Lobster Bisque was good, but too heavy for me before steak. Our server, Kevin, was very helpful and friendly.

Good food but dont order carry out. Ever since the coach grill had their fire they cannot get carry out orders right. 90% percent of the time I get home with my order and something is missing or not prepared right. I even go over multiple times what I want and they still screw it up.

Excellent food and service but an expensive outing. The menu always has strong offerings and is changed every so often with with new options to tempt you. Make reservations early if going on a weekend or near a holiday.

Favorite fancy place including in NYC. Great steak and seafood; lobster savannah is to die for. Exceptional service and lovely atmosphere. It is pricey, but worth it, especially for a special occation or holiday.

Excellent food. You have to try the Wagyu steak. Its expensive (~$85) and it took me a while to convince myself to try it - but now I dont order anything else. Very consistent quality. Been there at least 20 times.

By far, the best restaurant in the Weston-Wayland-Framingham-Sudbury area...weve tried them all. The service is exceptional. Its pricey, but worth it.

No reason to travel to Boston with the Coach Grill nearby. Steaks are always cooked perfectly, excellent wine list, knowledgeable staff.
