Everything just didnt taste right. The pu pu plater doesnt come with cragragoon instead you get these little fried things with the tiniest piece of meat in it. The pork spare rib in the plater is bone in comes with only 2 and you get 3 bites of it and the chicken wings didnt not taste right at all its like they were baked. And the prices are outrageous.Should of saved my $42 and went to Hong Kong City in taunton.

Its one thing knowing that the Chinese you get in one part of New England wont be the same as what you grew up with, but now in Texas, I long for the flavors of China Lake. I can get the Fall River Chow Mein shipped down but the fried rice, the egg rolls, that light fluffy batter on the shrimp and chicken... I have yet to talk them into sharing some of the recipes...

I believe J is correct, I dont think China Lake was ever shutdown by the Town or State. A smaller Asian cuisine restaurant in the center of Town (across from Rite Aid) has been shutdown several times. China Lake has good food, reasonably priced, and for things like Chow Mein, is often faster for take out than a fast food restaurant.

The staff was friendly and helpful everything we ordered was great. I recommend the pineapple passion drink its the best since China Royal days I love this place will definitely be back again and again..

Its your typical suburb cheap Chinese food place. Dont go here expecting high cuisine. Service was a bit slow but food was good.
