we had delivery from china star and it came very quickly and was absolutely delicious and was very hot!!! we order from them every single time since weve lived in methuen, ma! The woman who answers is always courteous and offers up there specials ( like if you spend so much you get a free meal that they have several items on the list of) . I would highly recommend this place to everyone!! The onnnnly complaints i have are the delivery charge which is 3$ and the ONLY food item i wasnt crazy about was the fried beef dish. other than that my family and i like it! Hope this helped people out there! i also would like to add to this that my family got 3 large dishes and pupu platter for two and three sides and only paid 51! so idk what dishes the person a couple spots down was talking about but we made out like bandits i guess lolol

Food is good but service is lacking. Specially the lady taking the orders in the front. I was there a few days ago with my kids and when I ask where the restroom was so we could wash our hands before our meal she said that they did not have a public restroom and if I needed to use the bathroom I should walk a block away to the laundromat because they do have a public restroom. I told her that I was spending my money at her restaurant not at the laundromat and she said that there was nothing she could do. I dont think I would ever spend my money at the restaurant regardless of how the food tasted. Customer service is very important to me. Besides I think that not offering a bathroom for guests to use in a restaurant with a dining area is just plain unsanitary.

Well called placed order it was wrong called back they asked me if we ate it i said no we wanted spice stir fry they sent general gou chicken to us okay we will pick it up i said okay then they called me back and said i ordered it new employee going to argue with me been buy food there for years.very disappointed. Going to call manager.

Ordered the chicken and pork rice noodles, and a small Peking ravioli. I went to pick it up not even 10 minutes later and it was already packaged and ready! Very fresh. The place was also really clean inside. First time ever eating here, and I will certainly order from here again.

Been ordering here for years. Recently got the general chicken.looked good but upon tasting meat was dried out n stringy. Called them and they said thats how its delivered to them and nothing they can do about it.very dissapointing.

They had a retrofit and I think a change in management with significant improvements. Appetizers are consistently good, dishes vary depending on whether they are prepared to order - some things are prepped in advance and reheated.

Ive ordered from here for several years and today I ordered a plate and it came less than 15 minutes but the food was cold and ill never order from there again.I got my money back

Pretty typical Chinese cuisine. Delivery charge is ridiculously high. Plus u need to add a tip to driver is insane. 3 plates plus deliver was a total of $40. Insane.
