We had mussels in beer & clam strips. The mussels & beer sauce tasted awful and bitter; there seemed no spices being used. Wrt to clam strips, we literally had to dig for the clams among the fries; we did not know that clams are now endangered species. We tried this restaurant half a decade ago and gave it another try, Friday 20140221. We will give it another try no earlier than 2019-02-21. In the meantime, for ~$28 before tip, we thought the bread balls were delightful. We should have ordered $28 of bread balls instead of mussels & clam strips; we would have been happier.

My husband and I had lunch at Joe Fish today, I ordered the baked stuffed potato with lobster and lobster cream sauce, it was so good, I cant wait to go back and have it again, my husband ordered the large lobster roll which was amazing, there was so much fresh lobster in a buttered grilled hot dog roll, it was overflowing, our server was Laurie, who was wonderful,, we will return soon,

This is one of my favorite local haunts. Oyster Tuesday ($1/each) is amazing and everything Ive eaten from the Ahi Crunch Salad to the grilled fish, even the lobster bisque yum! The beer selection isnt ideal but they have a house drink that is crazy good and I dont typically like liquor drinks. Decor is that of a fish shanty and super cool. Its pricey but worth it!

Not our first visit, and its been a little while since our last. The place has changed. It wasnt very clean, and the service was very slow. It was apparent that friends of the waittperson received the attention. Fish was hot, but sides were stone cold. Fish was good, though. Hoping it was just an off night.

My Wife and I are new to the Boston region and are trying different places to eat. Joe Fishs was a great visit. We sat at the bar and had a fun time talking to others at the bar and the restaurant staff. The food was fantastic! Get the Lobster Bisque. We will be back often.

Pros - nice decorations and atmosphere. Clean restrooms. Food tasted great. Cons - value and portion sizes. Most expensive lobster I have seen in MA. Even the lobster tacos are expensive. Service was very slow. There are plenty of other better value restaurants in the area.

Overpriced awful lobsta pie overcooked till the lobster was like rubber there was no seasoning and they charged me "market" price and it was $40 bucks for .20 cents of crackers and less than a half pound of lobster meat Id never go back after that.

Had lunch with family on Saturday. Overall overpriced, food was just OK not impressive. Out waitress seemed like she didnt want to be there, no personality whatsoever. Will not be returning there. Only thing that was good was the ambience.

Enjoyed excellent service and very good seafood at Joe Fish. Found the wine list just enough to choose from. While prices are prices are a bit High this is to be expected with very fresh seafood. All preparations were delicious.

Not bad. The oysters and clams were very fresh and I had the Bajou Redfish which was very good. A bit on the pricey side, as one can expect from a seafood place anywhere in the country. However, well worth the money.

Nice place for seafood. Love the lobster roll and steamers. Can be very crowded on the weekends though. And I wish the bar area was bigger, not enough room. Still, good food and cool atmosphere.

The food is delicious a little pricey and the restaurant in North Andover is definitely dated the restroom needs a complete overhaul wait staff very friendly as well as the bartender.

Good seafood. The chowder in a bread bowl is a good meal, and the salmon is nice as well. Their "Rajun Cajun Chicken Sandwich" is great if youre looking for something different.
