Long week, finally Friday, and instead of takeout I want better food so I look for real restaurants on Foodler. We want GOOD pizza and chicken. The chicken wings not great- have that old broiler smell to them. Fingers pretty bland too. But the worst- the pizza. Ordered half and half but there were mushrooms- burnt ones - all over the "pizza." The pizza was cold even thought I got a text when the driver was leaving and he was here in no time. Cant taste or barely see tomato sauce. You can see the onions glistening and cheese is congealed when it arrived. So 2 orders of chicken and not a really big pizza was almost $50, and it was horrible. I dont usually write reviews but I am so tired of spending decent money in return for ineptness and disappointment.

Have only been a handful of times but can say honestly that this place has two targeted groups: BC students and those looking to watch whatever sport game might be on. Decent sized space though which means this place can easily accommodate both groups (yay?) Food and drinks seem to be more pricey then I would like without being worth it. Friend ordered a skinny margarita ak it due to the high level of alcohol it contained. Ordered the mac and cheese and it was eh. Not horrible but nothing stand out about it. If you are looking for a decent place to drink and catch a bite to eat, head over to some place like Publik house. For the same amount of money you get a much better experience.

Went for the salad and found it to be the freshest, and biggest around. It was served fast and on a very attractive plate with fresh green apple slices. The goat cheese was so smooth and creamy Id swear it was just made that morning. My waitress, Felicia, was the best ever and the bar tender (? sorry ) the greatest. I will be going back on a regular basis as it is so hard to find any place to give this kind of service and freshness all at once. Parking is something else. I prefer big parking lots so for me its a tricky situation.

This place used to be a nice, cozy neighborhood bar. Was it four star dining? No, but it was a quite relaxed place to go get a drink. After the recent renovations, however, its the exact same food as the Joshua Tree in Alston (which isnt that great), yet smaller, more crowded, and WAY louder. It seems like the owners want it to be some upscale club type get-up, but its in Cleveland Circle. It just feels out of place.

My buddy and I are very easy going, positive guys. We went in expecting great things, in a great mood, and had our flow crushed. The beer selection is less than mediocre, our waitress was standoffish and unattentive, and the food was not good. The fries, particularly, we terrible. On top of all that, we were subjected to pop-tripe music instead of the sound for the game. All-around horrible. Dont go.

A place right in the middle of a college Community. Me and my husband went here for a late night drink. Uber friendly, nice and clean with a very polite bouncer! The music was 90s like. Ipod juke box that you can play from ur phone! Its nice and chill. Great bar staff. I would go here if ur looking to chill , watch sports and meet new people. I felt safe , thats a big deal for me

I went there Friday and the food was really good, if a bit overpriced. I had the classic Cubano and fires, both excellent. The downstairs bar staff were friendly and attentive. I will be returning and possibly upgrade to a 5 star. Been back just to get some fries and a beer... the fries were great, but what really stood out was the BBQ and Ranch sauce I used for dipping.

Cityside is a pretty standard bar. I have only been once during a relatively slow time but the service was kind of slow for there only being a few other parties in the bar area. The staff was very nice / polite and checked back in just the right amount. The food was pretty middle of the road. I tried the burger and was not blown away but it was definitely serviceable.

Cityside is a regular college bar. If it werent so convenient for me, I probably wouldnt make a special trip to visit, but it offers a solid experience. The menu is what you would expect at a college bar. The one benefit is they offer an outside deck, which is not common in the Brighton area. And trivia on Tuesdays is a good time.

This place is very average. It serves cheap basic (lite) beer, typical bar food, and has more than a few big screen TVs showing sports. The one good thing it has going for it is the large patio on the second floor that overlooks Cleveland Circle and the sports fields. On a warm summer night, it can be a great place to enjoy a beer.

Every Wednesday afternoon Cityside has half-priced burgers from noon until 4pm. $2 Coors light draft ($8 pitchers), trivia on Tuesdays. Plenty of Boston College students that didnt get into Mary Annes across the street. Pro Tip: The Upstairs Porch offers one of the best panoramic views of the Boston Marathon. Highlights: Steak Tips.

3.5 stars I would give but no half stars allowed, I have rounded up based on my first and only experience. My wife had nachos and I had a burger. Beef patty was cooked perfect (medium rare) and nachos was tasty. Good sporty atmosphere. Would I come back...yes, but perhaps once in 2 months or something.

Went here last night and got the nachos. Honestly best nachos I have ever had. They didnt skimp on any of the ingredients. Plenty of cheese everywhere. The set up was nice I hadnt known there was an upstairs prior to visiting but it was comfortable. Enjoyed the music trivia night as well

Look, dude, Ive been going to cityside for years. Its my favorite bar. A lot of the staff have been there for years.. and its the location for a lot of my youthful memories. Just one gripe.. bring back the stuffed fireman from the menu of yesteryear. Ill be a lifelong patron.

City Side has a nice set up and location. Its definitely a good bar for the college scene, mostly because thats about all who go there. The staff is friendly, but the prices are a bit steep for whats offered. Even though its small they have plenty of T.Vs for sports games.

An institution: not perfect but it deserves credit for its longevity in an always changing bar and restaurant scene. You wont be fine dining or having the best service but satisfactory is a pretty outstanding dining outcome in Cleveland Circle.

Decent sports bar in the Cleveland circle area. Better than average tap list. Pretty standard selection of bar food. The biggest standout perk of this place is their rooftop patio which makes a great place to spend summer evenings.

Just your run of the mill college bar. BC in the house! When I went it tasted like the taps hadnt been cleaned in some time. But, the scenery didnt seem to mind. They also have trivia night. Check your local listings.

After an interior renovation about a decade ago, this place has aimed to be a bit more classy and has certainly achieved that to some extent. Its still a nice corner spot to get a beer with friends despite the shift upscale.
