Apps are a little pricey for their size, but delicious Had the mushroom buns and bibimbap- the bibimbap was served in a hot stone bowl so you get delicious sizzling crispy rice. The main course seemed underpriced to me, so it balanced out You also get to choose between brown and purple rice, which was nice. I had a cocktail with soju, aloe juice, and lime - it was very refreshing My partner had a sweet cider, much too sweet for me, but he loved it. Staff was very friendly and clearly knew the regulars who came in and greeted them warmly, which is always nice to see. This is going to be where I go for great bibimbap from now on! Total price for one cocktail, one cider, one app, and two bibimbaps came to about $57 before tip.

Just had dinner here and loved it! The entire experience was great. The hostess was professional and organized. The decor and ambiance was welcoming and chic without being too over-designed. Sometimes Davis Square becomes so trendy and hipster its exhausting. The Waitress I had was not only helpful and nice she was very good at managing time and her support team. The food was great. I loved the Pork Buns I could probably eat 10 of them. The only food I was not in love with was the Bulgogi - it was not sweet enough for my personal preference but it was perfectly tender and still delicious. Cannot wait to go back and am excited to be the first to review this great restaurant on Google.

This review is for their lunch service. Food - The food was just okay - nothing spectacular. We had the mushroom bao, shrimp tacos and the shrimp noodles. I would have personally enjoyed more spicy flavors in the food. The biggest plus was the texture of the bao while the biggest minus was the overcooked shrimp. However, you should try their cocktails - Soju Moscow Mule was perfect. Service - Oh the service is just lovely. Our server even took time out to have a conversation with us, checked on us several times and always answered with a smile.

Went in on a busy Saturday night. The place has a great atmosphere and interesting menu. Since its so new, it can be overlooked that the server was awkward and demanding. The drinks menu is intelligent but the wine especially is VERY overpriced - they had a Moschofilero (skouras) for $10 a glass when the bottle itself costs $13 at a retail store. The Beef Bulgogi was great, Bibimbap was a bit flavorless.

I was at Meju with couple of my friends on the other night. The food and place are great, I would definitely go back in the near future. (Two things that caused me to give a 4-star rating:) 1. We were sitting close to the window and it was kinda cold and heating was not enough for us at the time. 2. People were smoking outside of the restaurant and you can smell them if you sit close to the window seats.

Food here was great. We ordered some makgeolli (a light rice alcohol) to start and the waitress made the nice recommendation to pair it with some scallion pancakes as an appetizer. We each had our own mains which we very much enjoyed - my mushroom jabchae and mandoo soup. We had more food than we originally planned but were happy to take the leftovers home in a box.

The place looks very cool and the food was great. They were very accommodating and the waiter let us personalise our dishes which was great. I loved the shrimp shrimp sweet chili noodles with mussels. The Korean fried chicken and homemade dumplings were also very good. Still, some things were slightly plain so the food is comforting but not excellent.

Really beautiful interior and great location. One of the rare spots for good Korean. I got the tofu sundubu and while its much more mild than Ive had before, it was good. Only complaint is the kimchi tastes really different than most others Ive had - not bad, just not what I was craving. Reasonable portions and nice plating, and fairly priced.

Very tasty food with a modern take on classic Korean dishes. Wish the entrees came out all at once though, as there was about 5 minutes between each of our 4 meals coming out. It was also a very pleasant atmosphere, and our host was quite friendly.

Eat anything. Its going to be amazing. The drinks are top notch as well. Their bar seems to be missing something in terms of decoration however. That isnt worth taking a star from them however. Its still gorgeous in there.

The bibimbap is delightful, the house special purple rice is a refreshing twist. The atmosphere is a bit hipsterish, but its usually pretty quiet and it has a lot of space. A good place to bring friends for lunch or dinner.

Craft cocktails inspired by the owners travels, and great food. Beer, wine, and soju as well. Drop by early for a quiet bite and chat, or after 7 for great crowd ambiance that isnt too loud even when the place is full

This place feels like home. Ed (owner, manager?) is so nice and fun. The Korean Buns are to die for good. I suggest trying a straight up soju. The flavors are delicious and they go well with the bibimbap.

I had the eel stone bowl bibimbap for Saturday lunch. Price was high for lunch ($16+$5 for eel). Eel was straight from the fridge, not freshly grilled. Four side dishes (banchan), nothing special there.

Not your typical Korean joint. I would say it is a bit more fusion compares to bibim which is just Korean food. I would give the bao and wings another try because they were so delicious.

Tasty. No idea if they need a promotion or something, but eating in a empty restaurant felt eerie. Really wish them the best though, since I enjoyed having something different in the area!

Had a variety of dishes shared by our group. Everything was outstanding. Waiter very helpful in describing degrees if spice and suggesting dishes which complemented each other.

The restaurant is very nice, and the food is delicious. Great quality food, but it didnt feel like it should have cost me that much. Definitely try the Bibimbap if you go.

Small plates shared between two make a great meal for foodies. Bibimbop makes great comfort food on a rainy day (OK any day haha)! Get the recommended Picpoul.

Everything about this meal was great! The food presentation, the flavor, the cleaness of the restaurant and the over all atmosphere of the place is just right

Its a pretty average Korean restaurant. The menu is not too big just about right. Not much to say other than its your typical Korean restaurant and food

The food is great here. Also, love the open concept of the restaurant and close proximity to Davis square T station. Good beer selection too.

Starters were really good, best thing we had all night were the Mandu. We were disappointed about the bibimbap, was completely flavorless.

Everything was delicious! The appetizer, entree, and drinks. The place looked really nice and it was too expensive. Highly recommended.

Good modern Korean food. The restaurant is always weirdly empty though. My cocktail was way to sugary, but the food was pretty tasty.

Very friendly and accommodating staff and delicious bibimbap bowls. Great place for a date or a nicer meal in Davis.
