The food is fine - the ordering process is obnoxious & annoying. The menu items are displayed on flat screen TVs that suffer from window glare. Then one *must* wait in line to use the single station automated ordering system. They defend it, and maybe it works for the staff, but for customers its a pain, particularly when stuck behind someone confused by the chimp-like point-at-pictures system. If somehow they survive to franchise (unlikely) the order overkill might be useful. For now the hassle just encourages me to not waste my time. There are several other good Thai restaurants nearby that arent so pointlessly precious. IN RESPONSE You know what would be efficient, and respectful, of the customer? If the clerk walking people through your obnoxious ordering system JUST TOOK THE ORDER. Like successful places do. Instead, thanks, no, I wont call my order in, Ill just go to one of the other nearby just as good or better Thai restaurants that can take my order without the asinine gimmickry.

Since RiceTheory opened last year, Ive been a pretty frequent customer. As a college student, I used to order from Coconut Thai and Lemon Thai when I needed a flavorful Thai food fix. The dishes at RiceTheory, though, blew them out of the water. I especially love the pad thai and pad see ew, and the fact that vegetarian protein options are available (and delicious). Ive only dined in once, and the food was a bit fresher than the food after a 15 minute drive back to college. Either option is good! Service overall is very fast, considering they cook the dishes you order via phone once you get there to ensure freshness. Would love to see a delivery option in the future :)

Sorry, we had high expectations for this place while we were waiting for it to open. This review was for its first few weeks of opening, so not sure its improved since then. The noodles were dry, and not that flavorful, and all the dishes we ordered had these dried pieces of tofu(?) or something that just seemed to be cheap fillers. Definitely didnt seem to be authentic Thai food. We were not impressed with the food, even though the staff was friendly and helpful. We drive by them every day, but havent felt the need to stop.

I enjoyed the food and experience quite a bit. Its not what it seems. You see pictures of types of Thai food, one with chicken, one with beef, one with tofu, etc., but when you actually go through the ordering process on their screen, you can interchange ingredients and use other options. The location used to be a sub shop, so there is some room to sit, but mostly people seem to take out their food. This restaurant is a supplier to Whole Foods, apparently, as well. Portions are fairly generous.

Simple. Not fancy at all. Really good Tom Yum soup. Mostly for take out, but there are a few tables there. Also a cute little table for kids. Pay cash and get a 10% discount. The menu is small but there should be something there for everyone. And the authentic looking desserts are intriguing.

Im quite glad that there is a thai restaurant of this caliber in the suburbs. The curry was excellent and accompanied by a nice flakey roti. Drunken noodles had interesting flavors that went far beyond just soy sauce. Food was made fresh and employees were very nice.

Hands down one of my most favorite Thai restaurants. The staff is always helpful and I enjoy ordering food from the computer screen. Its so much less confusing than staring at a menu and the pictures are very helpful. I try to come by at least once a week!

Good food but the self service kiosk used for ordering food is not user friendly. They need to verify with the customer before rushing to make the food. No complaints but there is room for improvement.

Pleasantly surprise. I can believe fairly good Thai food can be made this fast. There are other Thai places like Krup Thai in Natick that is just a bit better, but you wait for that extra goodness.

I swear to god this place has better Pad Thai than what I ate in Thailand. Their spring rolls are so amazing too! I would come back here anytime over other Thai restaurants in the area :)

The cooks were really nice and informed about the menu. The food was excellent and inexpensive. We even received a free dish on the house! Will definitely be returning.

The inside is a little run down looking and they need shades or curtains to keep out the sun. The food was very good and the ordering kiosk makes customization easy.

The Tom yum soup was delicious but a little small by asain noodle house standards for the money... so tasty!
