Ive lived in Lowell my entire life and have great memories here, which is possibly why Im giving them 5 stars instead of 4. The only reason why I would give them a 4 is because of the bathroom, which needs to be cleaned much more often. However, the food is perfectly fine and everyone I have gone with has never had a complaint. Whether the place is a little empty or jammed pack, I have always had friendly, attentive staff. Food wise, the selection is pretty basic; you have your sushi, dessert (cakes/ice cream), fruits, fish, beef, chicken, soups, sauteed veggies, noodles and rice. Lately the restaurant has been trying out new foods such as their buffalo wings, which I find quite interesting. Great for kids as well with their chicken nuggets and fries, and other kid/finger type food like egg rolls and crab rangoon. Even with their basic layout, the food is suitable for people of all ages. Whether Im with a friend or a group (birthday party, 20+ people), they never disappoint -- although it can get a bit hectic, what restaurant wouldnt? The only other complaint I have may be some of the customers. I dont know how the restaurant works, but the staff is mainly, well, Asian; and several times when going to this buffet many customers are rude and completely racist, "I cant hear you", "dont you know English?" -- For those who complain about service, look at yourselves first... Overall, I enjoy coming to this buffet (minus the occasional rude customers). The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is great. Keep up the good work.

Me and a friend went there today with a baby sitting in her car seat. The manager seated seated us in a booth and didnt even give us a highchair. Usually restaurants give me an upside down highchair to place the car seat on top. As soon as we sat down he handed us the drink menu and before even picking it up the waitress comes over and asks what do we want to drink when we didnt even get time to look over the menu. After we were done our total was $19.23, my friend paid $14.00 on her card and left me with the remaining. I like to keep my money in my savings and transfer the exact amount I need. I had $5.83 in my checkings, I was staring at my bank app while he was swiping my card. It kept getting denied and I didnt understand why since I had more than needed. I was getting upset and asked how much do I owe? Ill pay it cash. He said $15.00 like how the hell do I owe $15 if my friend paid $14 and the total was $19???

The thing about the China Buffet in Lowell is that they get it right where most Chinese buffets get it wrong. It the perfect place to take people whom are allergic to spicy foods and also meat intolerant. The salad bar is REAL fresh vegetables and it will clean you out if you tend to eat lots of junk like iceburg lettuce and overly spiced food because thats what REAL vegetables do. ;) This place is one of the best alternatives to all of the fast food places for diabetics like my Mom because they offer the best calming atmosphere and wide variety of food including meat, fish, a lot of vegetarian options, and some very delicious desserts. They somehow always have a lot of fresh food out at all times. I ve been there from time to time and Ive seen both newly immigrated Asians and atypical Americans there. The only thing I will say is that it does take the waiters awhile to refill drinks, because the place is huge!

This place has the most rudest employee Ive ever witnessed! I was trying to find my way out to pull some money and she yelled behind me "HELLO!" because I couldnt find the stupid door when there was two, I. Which one of them was blocked! Plus my best friend claimed he got yelled at from her for some poor reason. Plus, Ive been to cornfields more easier to escape than that dumb place! I couldnt find the door. My friend apologized to her and she gave him the cold shoulder and ignored him! I hope she gets fired!! I dont ever want to go there again! The food could of been better too! Not too many selections that I liked!

i was very disappointedwith this place. My husband took me here for my birthday bc I have been wanting to try it out. All the food was cold and some of it tasted weird. they show in there pics that they have a decent selection of sushi. They didnt and none of it had fish in it and again was weird tasting. I understand that its a buffet but I have been to some that was way better then this one. I barely ate anything bc I was worried that I may get sick because the food wasnt up to tempature. Needless to say I will never go again and I recommend if your looking for a good place you dont either.

Great selection of food, I dont eat sushy so check other reviews for that.. aside from the great selection sometimes you can tell the food has been sitting awhile and is rarely hot, by the time you select what you want and get to your table the food is already cold, and mostly tough, ie. Chicken fingers are very hard 99% of the time, most of the unusual selections of food is pretty good and tastes good but if you dont expect to much out of an all you can eat then check this place out, your able to get your moneys worth but sacrifice it with cold food.

Saw this place off the connector, figured Id try it. The food was awful, the service was mediocre, and I think they secretly put fish into non-fish items. I say this because Im allergic to fish and I could taste it in the non-fish items I tried. There were no signs indicating this either. Plus, it cost about twice of what I expected. This place is horrible, dont make my mistake by eating here.

My experience wasnt very pleasant... we are a family of five and the host wanted us to sit at a table of eight, and a couple were sitting in that same table, and we ask to sit in another table but the host denied our request, so then we decided to move to another table, but the waitress also with bad attitude ask for our drinks. We ended up leaving the restaurant.

Like any buffet, if you hit an off-time the food can be cold or over cooked. But otherwise I find everything to be pretty good! Very typical "Chinese" food offerings as well as sushi, French fries, and desserts. The egg/cheese tarts are my favorite. Service can be slow and sometimes the language barrier is an issue, but overall a decent experience when we visit.

How did this place pass inspection, I wasnt so much enjoying their cold and stale food, then I saw a roach crawling on the walls. Ruin my whole appetite and I didnt even bother getting dessert. Absolutely embarrassing and unclean, and the employees are just rude this place should be shut down.

My 5 year old got sick from eating here. Poor kid was there for his birthday out of all the days. I brung him to the doctors and found out he got campylo bacteria from the food. Wish I checked the reviews before going there, it looks like he isnt the first. Never going there again.
