This is a great local breakfast haunt. A large dining room with a fairly significant capacity, they serve breakfast, lunch, and of late also dinner. I have not had dinner there but have eaten there for breakfast dozens of times, and lunch close a dozen times. The food is excellent! Generous portions and signature WELL MADE omlets are great, and they offer beans as a substitute for home fries for the heart healthy customers as well as Nantucket Oatmeal which is a very large bowl of hot oat meal topped with blueberries, cranberries and brown sugar. That oat meal is to die for! The menu is very expansive and you can find something for everyone in your family there for breakfast from the infants cheerios to the he-man lumberjack five by-pass chloresterol special. Lunch menu is good with all the usual suspects and a few unique ones. I give this place a 9 our of 10. It can be a little chilly in the winter as the high ceilings make the heating bill hard on the owner I think, but keep your sweater on and enjoy a great meal with endless coffee refills.

If it wasnt for the delicious hash-browns, the experience would have been a complete bust. The restaurant layout was interesting...not the cleanliest of places we have been to. Floors looked like they hadnt been washed in many months. Underneath our feet were piles of dirt, salt and sand. Before sitting at our recently evacuated booth, it was wiped down with what smelled like dirty dishwater. The syrup was possibly from last century. Mighty Mike, our server, was not as mighty in his service as one would expect from his attitude. The food...average breakfast: rubbery eggs and terrible pancakes and french toast. Both hard and chewy. As mentioned above, the only saving grace was the has browns which were crispy and seasoned deliciously. Overall disappointing experience given the multitude of positive reviews.

This is THE breakfast/brunch place to be at in Franklin, MA. No other restaurants in the area can even come close to the quality, service and value you get at King St. Cafe. I love the Kielbasa and eggs and a coworker is devoted to the Belgian waffle. The coffee is delicious as well, which you certainly wont find at most breakfast spots. If you like generous portions and a casual yet classy local vibe, King St Cafe is for you.

Theres a reason this place is jam packed every Saturday and Sunday morning! The food is awesome and the prices are reasonable. The homefries alone are worth the visit. My favorites are the hash stuffers for breakfast and the reuben for lunch. In the summer they also have fresh lobster rolls on Thursdays and Fridays which are to die for! Check this place out, you wont be disappointed!

We typically go on weekends after kids sports when in this end of town. I cant remember a time where we complained or didnt enjoy our meal. The place is busy and has great chattering patrons (friends/neighbors) on the weekends. If you like the clinking of cups and glasses, the diner cuisine, and getting in and out in a timely manner satisfied Id tell you to give it a try.

Overrated. Overpriced. Service is only fair. Ive had to go get things from other service staff. Burned pancakes the last time I ate there. Cook your breakfast at home- youll be better off and youll be able to hear yourself think without the noise.

We called king street cafe based off a recommendation from a peer and was Very surprised that in short notice they could accommodate us with excellent food and great service. We would highly recommend king street cafe for any catering event.

VERY high priced for mediocre food. Last breakfast here came out with cold home fries and lukewarm pancakes. Eggs were OK. At $9 for two eggs, bacon, pancakes and home fries, at least the food should be warm. There are much better choices.

Decent food (we had breakfast), but the noise just echoes off the walls. The chair legs screech across the floor every time someone moves them and when the staff reorganized tables for a large group, it was like nails on a chalkboard.

Huge portions of food for a very fair price. Breakfast is by far the best to order! The staff is friendly, they dont hover or pester you too many times. The banana bread French toast is delicious and made with actual banana bread!

The food and service is great, but they have the worst coffee I have tasted outside of a tiny roadside dinner in the middle of the desert in Arizona. Breakfast = Coffee and maybe some food if I have time, just sayin

I love this restaurant. The food always tastes good, and the service is always quick. Its a good idea to call ahead as this place is popular and there is usually a wait for a table.

Always enjoy the food here. Theres going to be a wait on weekends, but that should tell you about the quality. Their variations in eggs Benedict are my personal favorite.

Decent food even if a little over priced. Easy to get to and always good service. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite. FYI the menu is limited on Sundays for lunch.

Always a good choice for breakfast. I recommend the Cape Cod pancakes for a nice sweet & sour taste... Can be a bit chilly in spots during the winter.

I was disappointed by the food, I ordered a breakfast sandwich which lacked flavor and the OJ tasted low grade, sadly Dunkin Donuts is a better option.

Only been here for breakfast, but always a solid breakfast and friendly laid back staff that are attentive to the table but not overwhelming either!

Terrible corned beef hash. The pancakes made me sad, way to fluffy and really hard to cut. They didnt have bad service, but the kitchen needs help.

One of the best breakfast places around. The food is great and the prices wont break the bank. They have the best home fries around!

They have good food our family can all agree on. Keep in mind that it is very popular so you should expect to wait for a table.
