we have become "regulars" over the years. Service is always fast and friendly, food is remarkably consistent and the drinks are great. We are foodies; and have had great Mexican food in various parts of Mexico and all over California. This is not gourmet dining, but it is always tasty and fresh. We love the Tacos al Pastor, (I prefer the pork, my wife likes the beef), the Steak Picado is very savory and even the simple spinach enchiladas are very satisfying. The prices are very reasonable, the portions more then enough. Complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa is Very good. Margaritas...Im a purist. I love to sip a good anejo or reposado tequila and make a good margarita (very simple). Ive spent many pleasant hours investigating the complexities of the Acaplulcos margarita. There are a LOT of ingredients in one. But somehow, it allows the flavor of the tequila to shine through, in some ways enhancing it. Ive had a lot of people try taste tests, for example between a Herradura and a Don Julio margarita at Acapulcos. Everyone can taste the difference. Dunno how they do it, but those drinks alone would keep us coming back. Add up the great drinks, fair prices and very very fast, truly friendly service and you have a winner. Highly recommended. Just stay out of the Franklin one so you dont take our table...!!!

I am amazed that anyone gave us more than one star! The bartender or at least I think he was a bartender… Did not know how to make a margarita! If you go to Mexican restaurant you should be able to expect someone knows how to make a Margarita?! Not Tony did I get the most disgusting margarita ever, the food was worse! I do however like the Acapulcos in Norwood . This Franklin location was the absolute worst! The food was deplorable the drinks were even worse the bartenders and servers lacked basic knowledge!

Service is terrible now go and sit down waiter sometime doesnt come to your table for five or 10 minutes food is awful had a bad experience sitting there eating wow a woman was washing the walls behind us with Clorox the smell was so bad we had to leave when we told him about the situation they never gave us anything as far as taking the food off our bill basically we will never go back there again and have been a good customer in the past

Went on Sunday afternoon with family. Usually most of the families are given booth, but these guys put us in 6 seater table when we were 2 adults + 2 kids. Servers were almost bumping our chairs every now and then. Food was ok, very bland, not tasty as you would see in other Mexican restaurants. Service was ok, felt like they were rushing to clean the table. As a family, Id not go again.

The food is always good here and the staff is very friendly. I would have always been happy and satisfied with the restaurant but lately Ive been rushed towards the end of my meal and tonight I was asked 4 times if I was finished with my food, I do eat at a normal speed. Other than that one small problem I would very much recomend this restaurant for the family.

First time coming here was on New Years Eve at the recommendation of a friend from RI. the authenticity/quality of the food and customer service was absolutely paramount. Friendly, warm environment and the food was so fresh and absolutely delicious! My return back here is a no-brainer! Thank you to the wonderful staff, and AJ for the suggestion!

Enjoyed the food very much. I had the fish tacos and the green salsa was really good & spicy. My husband had the Colorado Pork and thought it was authentic in taste. He comes from So. Cal. and loves his Mexican food. He is pretty particular about if the food is authentic or not and this place passed. We will be going back.

I went there with my family and we didnt like it. The food wasnt good, not fresh and warmed up one too many times. The service was horrible. She messed up our orders and we got rushed to pay and leave although was lunch time and restaurant was empty. We wont go there anymore.

Its a little pricey for Mexican, but the food is very good. Its one of the few Mexican places I know that serves seafood. Theres a good atmosphere, including a friendly bar. Service is always excellent. This is a small chain with this location being the best.

Not a bad place at all. In fact, this Franklin Acapulcos is one of the best in the entire chain. Not all the dishes are super-great all the time (you are always better off going there at dinner time), but overall this is a real winner.

After not having a good Mexican place near me, Acapulcos is a definite highlight of moving back to the area. Delicious, hearty, and authentic. Excellent margaritas, hot nachos with the freshest salsa, and chimichangas to kill for.

Probably the bet restaurant in Downtown Franklin. The food is good and fresh, and theres always people there. Even if youre not too adventurous, a quesadilla is a nice choice.
