Started drinking in their area of Harvard square Oktoberfest. They gave out tickets for a raffle sometimes when you bought drink tickets. -1 star for the complete lack of organization there on that. I bought 2 drink tickets, got 1 raffle ticket, someone else bought 2 drink tickets, got no raffle tickets, and another bought 2 drink tickets and got 2 raffle tickets. Good thing we sorted it out once we got to the bar. You had to go to the bar to get one free drink with your raffle ticket and then you can keep the ticket to see if you won the raffle...or just keep using that to get free drinks. Which you definitely were not supposed to do, but no one was stopping our group of 7+. Service was fast, we didnt get food so no comment there. Pretty interior with the dark wood.

Travelling in Boston, came across this place on a whim and decided to check it out, best decision of the trip!! The atmosphere was positive and friendly, not too noisy, and plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of other guests. The pork loin with the gorgonzola corn cake was FANTASTIC! Loved the ginger carrot puree and the apple cider reduction both of which complimented the flavors of the dish perfectly. For appetizers we had the new England Clam chowder and the roasted beet salad, both were delicious. Service was great, highly recommend to anyone visiting the Boston area!! We will definitely be returning!

I really like one of this restaurants sister restaurants (Russell House Tavern), and so was expecting this place to be pretty good, too. However, the smoked mushroom pizza I ordered was quite underwhelming. The dough was soft and not crispy or chewy at all- it seemed like the kind of cheap, instant crust youd expect from the frozen section of a supermarket. The flavor of the pizza itself was fine, but nothing that Id be prone to order again. Service was efficient. Perhaps other aspects of the menu are good, but pizza is also usually a pretty safe bet at most restaurants.

Grafton street is good. But honestly, I felt like since Ive been to Russell House (Best Burger), Park (More interesting drinks) and Temple Bar (can you say lamb burger, because I can) Grafton just doesnt hold up. Pretty good beer selection, liquor selection isnt as grandiose as a few of the others and I just wasnt feeling the skills in the cocktails. This isnt to say Grafton Street isnt good. It is a perfectly fine place to grab dinner or lunch. But there is a reason why its much harder to get a reservation on Friday at Russell House than Grafton...Just saying...

I went on a rainy Saturday morning for brunch so it was pretty empty which worked out perfectly for our large group! We got to sit in a large round table and they even gave us separate checks. Prices were really reasonable although Im sure you could get a bigger breakfast plate for the same price elsewhere. My only complaint would be that the coffee was wonderful (not a complaint) but they only filled our cups once when I could have drunk at least 3 more (I finally got to the complaint)!

To any displaced Brits who find this place - GO. The "Irish Breakfast" is about as close to an authentic Full English as youll get in the States. Real, proper pork sausages, Heinz baked beans and Danish bacon. Not the usual crap you get for breakfast in places - this is the closest youll get to the real deal on this side of the Atlantic. It was so good after I finished I ordered an extra portion of the sausages and beans. Fully recommend this place.

We went to an impromptu brunch at Grafton street. Blueberry Pancakes were actually nice, if a bit bland, and were improved greatly by the addition of syrup. Corned Beef Hash came out on the wet side, but fortunately the eggs were cooked well (on the second try) and the flavor grew on us a lot! Overall, a fine experience, but nothing standout about it. Grafton Street is great for a large group looking for a nice brunch, as their interior is spacious.

Six of us dropped by for an early brunch. It looked like we arrived just after opening, but it quickly filled up. We got seated in the back corner booth with curtains closing us off. Overall, food was typical good brunch food - many of us got one version or the other of the eggs benedicts. Service was also good - the waiter always waited until we stopped talking vs. interrupting a conversation midway so that was a big plus.

Grafton street is ideally located across the road from Harvard yard and is a popular spot. Its a little too modern and clean for that traditional authentic irish pub feel, but this is a plus in my book. Theres a good selection of beers and wines and the service is friendly. The food is exactly what you would expect from a pub (burgers, pizzas etc.) and quite tasty. They also serve brunch and mimosas on the weekend.

Typical Pub-style restaurant. Very large interior space with large windows and a small outdoor seating area. The food is ok, nothing special, but not bad. The service is excellent, with a friendly accommodating staff. Typical beer selection, nothing special. A good staple in the Harvard Sq area for people looking for a decent priced meal without the hassle of some of the other, better, restaurants.

A nice place to stop by for brunch (or lunch/dinner as well, Im sure). I only had a burger here, which I know isnt anything special, but it was cooked well and their fries were tasty, too. The place has a nice décor and it is a very cozy space. Its also a nice walk to/from both the Harvard and MIT campuses, so if you find yourself in the area, I recommend checking this place out.

Consistent food, a good beer selection and one of the best bar tenders in the square (Paul) keep me coming back after years as a thirsty scholar. This is a nice place to run to for lunch or dinner as well as to take colleagues, family or friends. A respectable cast of regulars are typically sociable and rarely brooding although everyone has their days. Cheers.

The perfect pre/post Brattle Theatre hang out. Delicious cocktails (the hot buttered rum is killer) and tasty elevated nosh (do yourself a favor and order the mussels and try the cheesy polenta). Id call this place a gastro-pub. Its a bit crowded and noisy during peak hours but its definitely worth it. Ive always had good service. Good for large groups.

Very nice restaurant. There are many choices and the prices range from $10 (for their amazing pizza) to $23 for more sophisticated meals. They have a large range of beers. They are diversified. You can ask to the waitress for advice, they know well their products. Both the light and the music creates a friendly nd nice atmosphere.

We sat at the bar and the tenders were fairly good, though it was a Monday night at a time when Harvard wasnt in session, so Im not sure if their service is always so good. The mushroom pizza with truffle oil was really very good, though; highly recommended. Drink selections were decent, as well, though nothing to write home about.

I feel like this is the most overlooked restaurant in Harvard Square. The food is actually really, really good. Great fresh oysters, amazing personal pizzas, beet salad and bar selection make this a place thatll surprise you. Wait staff is unbelievably nice as well. Dollar for dollar, it might be one of the best values around.
