This place used to be great, 2 years ago it would have received 5 stars. The atmosphere is still that of a nice basement bar but they have tried to make it more upscale, which it is not and will never be. They have raised the prices of the beer and have gotten rid of pitchers. I was in there one night recently and they were charging full price for a beer that was served in a 10 oz plastic cup. They also allow to many people in this place, way over capacity. They only only have one single person rest room, good luck. Thursdays are also a horrible evening due to trivia and people show up by themselves and take all the tables/bar space and save it for their friends that are coming hours later. Still good for week nights except Thursday.

The staff is amazing. There once was this very very drunk man who rolled in over served from another bar and he was spitting all over me as he talked and the bartender told him he had to leave and called him a cab. Thank God because I have a thing about others people spit

This place is the epitome of a dive bar. But the drinks are strong and there is an abundance of seating which is often rare at bars. No pool but dart boards in the back.
