Driving through town and we were looking for a local place to eat and decided to give Salernos a try and we were not disappointed. We had the steak tips, ravioli and the ravioli of the month which was lobster ravioli and everything was excellent. Their ravioli are made locally and they are very filling. The steak tips were excellent and the lobster ravioli was made in a cream sauce and they were perfect. The service was great and you get a lot of food for your money. It looks to be a local favorite so if you are passing thru I recommend stopping here for dinner.

Cafe Salerno has been in Beverly a while now (used to be J. Pace) and is a decent family place to go eat. There is a big bar with TVs and local beers on tap but the best is their simple menu. I dont come from an Italian family but I like it when a restaurants cooking tastes homemade. I can say the Sausage Cacciatore tasted spot on while the bread was pretty good too. Most plates varied only by meat, which means a quick and easy menu.
