We had dinner there last night after asking Google for recommendations and chose it based on the 4.5 star Google reviews. VERY disappointing. Pleasant enough waiter but the food was not even mediocre. The seafood risotto smelled way too fishy (i.e. not as it should have been if fresh seafood was used to make it) and the arborio rice was mush. The veal and eggplant parmigiana was more like cardboard than veal and the red sauce was insipid - more like Papa Ginos or Chef Boyardee from a can than like a homemade sauce. No fresh parmigiana cheese or ground pepper - only the dry stuff in shakers on the table. Not a place we will ever return too, thats for sure! Last time we will trust a Google restaurant review without more careful examination. too!

This is one of our favorite places to eat! We have been probably 10+ times in the past year and have loved it every time! The service is great, the wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the food. We get the Melanzane Ripiene every single time we go as an appetizer because there is truly nothing like it- super thin eggplant battered and filled with ricotta/spinach mixture and topped with a creamy pesto sauce and a red sauce beneath it too. I could eat it every day! The menu has the standard Italian fare you get at any place in the North End of Boston but they also have some authentic house specialties you wont find anywhere else. I dont know if I can stress it enough- you need to eat here!

This place is excellent. My family has been coming here for a long while and every time we have come the service, food, and atmosphere is superb. Has direct access to the T with the station directly across the street. Street parking and a cozy outside eating area makes this a great place to come with family and friends.
