I think this place is good for some things but my food was terrible. I ordered a soft shell crab sandwich, and the crab itself was tiny and tasteless. It was in fact so bad that I ate almost none of it (even though it wasnt inexpensive) because it was literally a waste for me to consume the calories...it was that bad. My husband ordered the same thing and his was just as bad. The complimentary cheese and crackers were good but we left hungry because thats about all we ate. The service was good and the place was packed with people getting crabs so I guess theyre doing something right. But I would never go back just on the principle that a restaurant would actually serve someone something that was such a rip-off with no flavor. Ive been eating soft shell crabs for 30 years and never had anything so bad.

We stopped to get gas, we actually were lost. We were trying to find an address where they had a vehicle for sale. We saw this restaurant and there was actually no place to park. Not even the handicap section. I said lets eat here! My wife and I my daughter and grandson, had a wonderful fantastic dinner. I got the surf and turf it was perfection! We all got something different. I would like to get lost more often and find a fantastic restaurant like this. The bill was over $100, I left a $50 tip. Because the service was impeccable, deaf people are fantastic. I would give it a 10 in every area!!!!! Thank you so much!

I moved to the area a couple of years ago and hit this place a few times. The crabs are always really good. The service is solid too. The front area is separated from the bar only by a half wall and the regulars can be boisterous at times (with language not suitable for little ones) but there is a back dining area that is walled off which I would recommend for families. The place is rustic but clean and welcoming. The beer is cold and the food is really good. Definitely worth coming back. PS - The mac n cheese is homemade and the onion rings are on point.

Just stopped in last night for the 1st time on a business trip. Dont live too far away.Always like checking out new places.Sat at the bar and granted it was busy but waited 10 mins before bar person came over and only did when another couple sat beside me. No biggie at all at this point.Only had one beer and left after seeing that Everyone working there was unfriendly with no smiles on their faces whatsoever ! Seems like its a local hangout.Maybe thats all they want is local people even though they didnt seem to friendly to them either !

Weve been driving by this place for years and the parking is always overflowing, so we finally stopped in to see what it was about. We ordered the shrimp salad, the crab fluff, and the cream of crab soup. All came out quickly, and tasted delicious. All of the TVs and hard surfaces make it a bit noisy, and theres no separation between the bar and the eating area where wee were seated, so it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. That said, Ill go back again and again for the crab fluff - it was worth a trip.

Its unfortunate that the reviews arent better! When we walk in we are greeted with smiles and the waitresses love on our kids. Great Prime Rib! Its a local dive! And you need to expect that when you go there! I love the coconut shrimp. Its an awesome place to hang with buddies and drink beer!

Across the street is the Crab spot, Great, Meaty,Large crabs. Right now its $125.00 for half a bushel BUT, the young guy is generous and they are worth it!! Very Large mixture of crabs. You will not be disappointed. Very Fresh, great spices.

This place is family owned and operated and you can tell. Reminds me of Cheers! Everything on the menu is great. Its been the same wait staff for years and the service is great. We visit woodbine weekly and love it. Its kid friendly too!

A group of 4 of us ate there 2 days ago. They were very busy so we had to wait an additional half hour for our reservation. The food came out slow. Mac and cheese was bland. Lima beans too. Crabs were cold. Filet mignon was tough.

A diamond in the rough. Can be crowded and loud at times but a good example of a typical Maryland crabhouse/pub. Good crabs and Maryland seafood fare with the usual diner-style sides.
