I would like to say that the main reason Im not giving more stars is because of the peculiar menu. There are no "indicators" (typically pepper icons), next to the dishes, so you dont know how spicy they are. Thai food is typically spicy and I prefer less spicy, so the waitress had to show me the menu one selection at a time! Also the menu shows LUNCH and DINNER prices, yet on Saturdays, they only charge the dinner prices even though it was lunch?! (We didnt understand the reasoning and just paid.) Very confusing and annoying to think you will be charged for LUNCH at noon! (Why not have a lunch and dinner menu like every other restaurant?) Lastly, while my noodle dish was decent (although mostly noodles), it was small in size, which was another reason we thought wed be charged the LUNCH price. So I would say it was quite expensive for the amount we got. Ive had Drunken Noodle at many restaurants and will continue to do so. Just not here, I wont be back. Fix the menu so its less confusing and less disappointing. Maybe put on more than 4-8 tiny pieces of tofu! (Its just cheap soy beans!) THE GOOD PART: The restaurant is attached directly to a fantastic grocery store! I loved that place! When we got our bill, there were mints with it. I dont like mint, but it was a guava flavored hard candy, which I went into the grocery to buy! I also got another fruit flavor. THAT was the best part of the meal. The after meal "mint"! Ha!

Placed an order that was stated to take 40-50 minutes for delivery. Note: I live within 0.5 miles of Thai Taste by Kob. After 60 minutes, I called 4 times to check-in on my order because the first 3 calls went unanswered. During the 4th call, I was told to be patient to allow time to check-in with the driver and I was put hold only to be denied the opportunity to speak to the manager. After 70 minutes, I had to call a 5th time determine that the delivery driver is not picking up his phone, and, discussed an option for the host to speak to a manager to ask about a refund, but no confirmation that a refund would be honored. After 80 minutes, my order still was not delivered, yet, my credit card was charged and no other solutions have been offered or fulfilled. Order was delivered after 86 minutes from the time the order was placed (time on receipt)--no apology was made by the driver and the "hot" dishes were all cold/room temperature.

4++ Ridiculously delish. Well priced. Not the best decor and no alcohol. Who cares! The food was well worth all that. Pumpkin empanadas ($6). Curried pumpkin filling, interesting tangy, sweet dipping sauce. Gaeng Pa curry dinner size as on weekends lunch size unavailable ($11), so flavorful, served with enough rice to overfill on. Spicy. I went with a friend who doesnt tolerate the level of spice I can so Ic ould turn up the heat more. I forget the actual rice noodles we ordered, but Im not sure Ive had such good noodles before. Even without the spice (medium spice for those who are like my friend). I added the spicy powder (the sauce has fish sauce in it, so I stayed away). The powder lends a smoky SPICY flavor. I cannot wait till I go again.

Love this place. Even though its a small place, I dont know why its never packed. Its next door to a bigger, fancier place but Thai Taste is significantly better AND it has Its own parking lot (which is pretty amazing in downtown Wheaton). My wife and I get something different every time and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the Lucky Bag for an appetizer... Curried sweet potato, deep fried in a delicate wrapper. We always bring our out-of-town friends and family here, and they have all also praised this place.

AWESSSOOMMMMEEE! My favorite thai restaurant was the Queen Bee in Arlington. They had this awesome appetizer that had fried jelly fish and their spring rolls were so good I drove an hour to get them as a meal - no sharing. Since then I hadnt found a place with spring rolls as good as today... Taste by Kob is legit. Currently My favorite dish is Kra Pow Gai Sub at Urban Thai in Arlington. I ordered Pad Kaprow at Taste by Kob and it is fantastic. Choice of meats. I chosed minced chicken like at Urban Thai - AWESOME!

The first Thai restaurant Ive tried ever since I moved to Maryland. The panaeng curry has always been my favorite-I ordered their panaeng curry w/chicken for lunch and it was indeed the best Ive ever had! The sauce was creamy and delicious [peanut sauce & coconut milk]; I got it spicy and it was really spicy and good-I had 2 bowls of rice with it. I also ordered their massaman curry w/chicken, beef pad thai and tom yum goong soup and they were all very good as well. Will definitely be back!!

Pedí un pato en salsa de tamarindo frito y cuando llego el plato, estaba malo! Frieron el pato y estaba en estado de descomposición. Este lugar es un peligro para la salud. No recomiendo ni un punto para este lugar

Truly one of the best (and hidden) gems in the downtown Wheaton area. Dont be fooled by the modest interior. Ive never had a bad meal here and the staff are very friendly. When getting take out, I usually order standard dishes (pad Thai, pad see ew, papaya salad). When dining in, you must try one of the many soups they offer. The ped pa low (duck-based soup) and pork five-spice are divine!

Their food is amazing and reasonably priced. I havent tried anything here I didnt like. We get delivery from here about one a week and have never had a bad experience. Too bad they sometimes randomly dont have delivery service, or wed order even more!

This restaurant is located next to the Asian grocery (kissing-cousins?!). The place was quiet when we arrived. The service was quick. The reviews were very high and in this situation, we definitely agree! We ordered noodle

Came based on a friends recommendation and rave reviews and it did not disappoint. We had coconut milk lemongrass soup, pork skewers, chicken with omelet. (I dont know the Thai names.)

Thai place in the back of a grocery store. Quite good and pretty reasonably priced place with a sort of behind the grocery store ambience. Best Thai Ive found in the area.

Wow! This little hole in the wall was a nice find. Everything we got was delicious. Especially the Yum Woon Sen, which we got a second order of to go!

The portions were TINY for the price. One their Specialties - "Chaing Mai Noodles" was absolutely disgusting. The sauce tasted like sweetened mud.

Great appetizers! Had the green curry and it was amazing. Dont let the fact that is in the back of a grocery store stop you from trying!
