Man this is one time when I wish I had half star ratings, because it is definitely a 3.5 star place, since its averaging three, I will give it four. I was very interested trying the lobster burger, but was drawn towards the Wellington. It was a symphony of earthiness brightened up with the sharpness of the Dijon mustard in the sauce. It was a messy burger, but all really good burgers are really messy in my personal opinion. Somehow I managed to eat the entire thing like a grown up without getting any of the burger on my white shirt. I passed on getting the roasted garlic on my fires which would have likely been my topping of choice but I figured it wouldnt be a good idea to eat a ton of garlic when I would soon be in close quarters with so many people. I ended up going with the parmesan to top the fries and thought the fries were pretty good as well. I loved the mossaic tiled tables and the kid in me arose to sit at the table that had the superman logo on it. Who passes up on Superman? (With the exception of that one Superman movie where Superman lifts an entire island of kryptonite into space. Not only does that defy all logic of the movie, I mean a little piece of kryptonite brings Superman to his knees, now he can suddenly lift whole islands of it... Give me a break. Not to mention the fact that the acting in that movie was abysmal. I would rather watch slug documentaries rather than see that movie again... but I digress). I also liked that they served beer and ended up getting a Hefewiezen. Overall its pretty good and on the Five Guys level of burger places.

I am so disappointed in my first (and last) experience, at your restaurant. I love burgers and was excited to try a new place with my kids. I spent over $30 for two burgers, chicken tenders, and fries for my two kids and myself. First, my son is nauseated from the tenders...he ate 1 1/2 and said "Dad, I am sorry to waste your money, but I just cant eat these, they are making me feel sick." 15 minutes after dinner we were shopping at Dicks and we had to leave because he had cramps. My own experience was not much better...I asked for a cheeseburger with grilled onions. I asked that they please melt the cheese on the burger because I saw them put a cold slice of cheese on others burgers. The cheese was not melted, the onions had grill gristle on over them. I also asked for crispy fries because they did not look done enough on others plates. We did not get crispy fries, and as I thought, many were still hard in the middle from under-cooking them. I also have to say that for $3.50 for fries, I would expect more than 10 fries on a plate, and when I asked the server about that he rolled his eyes and gave me two more. That is hardly customer service, or maybe that is how the staff is trained. When I approached an employee about the quality of the food, he said sorry and that was it. I am a marketing professor at Georgetown and teach customer focus and customer service. I think that BGR will need to be added to the list of examples of how NOT to take care of customers. What a disappointment!

Ordered from grub hub just to pick up. When I got there, it was still being made which was fine.. Until when they finished assembling and packaging it, they didnt page me at all. It sat there for 10 minutes. I went up to the person behind the cashier, and said I was here for a pickup. The person who did the packaging asked the guy if there was a grub hub order... The food itself wasnt that great. The burger was dry and the fries needed more seasoning. Overall the experience was lackluster, will visit again in the future to see if it was just an off day

Would not go back. Service yelled at little girl asking for a water cup..."your food will be out in a minute". Then took longer than Id want to wait for a full meal with a burger... but it was just fries and a shake. It wasnt very clean either... noted a receipt and plastic knife trailing across the floor that looked like there been there a while. And the bathroom toilet didnt flush properly. Plus a shake and fries was $10... kinda expensive for a cup of icecream and a potatoe.

Absolutely awesome. Way higher level than Five Guys, and the burgers we cooked exactly how we asked. Not greasy, lettuce and tomatoes looked great, very good. The fries were really good, and their "mojo" sauce is really good as well. The burgers you see in their product pictures are extremely close to what you actually get. Rather than the other popular fast food chains like Five Guys, Wendys, or Burger King, you dont get what you see in the pictures.

Food was relatively okay, but the service was disrespectful and acted as if they didnt want to be present. The employees were absolutely rude, my wife and I were appalled. The burgers werent tasteful, but the gave us a mediocre amount of fries for a price not worth the tasteless sticks. Im highly dissatisfied with the service, and I think coming here will be unpleasant to all.

Friendly and cozy eating environment including outside seating, deliciously tasty Burgers, sweet Potato fries cooked right, and a draft beer for the dads. When you visit this city make The Burger Joint part of your family history. Last but not least an always friendly, courteous, and receptive staff. The kind of customer facing individuals you want running your business.

I waited 20 minutes to get a club sandwich that was dried out chicken on a bun with none of the "club" (though I heard the person making my sandwich say chicken club as she wrapped it and handed it to the expediter) and garlic fries that were undercooked and with way too much garlic. Even when she remade the sandwich, it still wasnt right. Never going back.

Mediocre "fast food" burger place. Took 18 minutes for overpriced burger and onion rings to come out. Onion rings were cold because they were cooked when we ordered not when the burger was ready. Burger had no flavor at all and grilled onions on it were cold. Staff was friendly but will not be returning.

A little pricy....dollar per toppings...but they make a formidable burger and the best seasonal shakes in town. They seem to have pride in their craft. I miss the parmesan and Rose Mary fries they used to have on the menu. They also have a buyers club that allows for you to earn your way to free burgers.

Not better than Wendys or Burger King. The plus is they offer discounted AMC movie tickets ($8) when you dine with them. The messy flame grilled burger was just ok but the seasoned fries are good. Apreciated the free refills and the outdoor seating but the taste of the burger was pricey for just OK food.

Overpriced burgers with nothing special or different about them. The burger was dry and not juicy. I felt like I was at someones cookout and they just made a burger for me. The only reason I went there was because of the fact that they advertise their burgers to be organic and grass fed.
