Friday, 3/13/2015, my 33rd anniversary we decided to go to RH&B at approx. 6:30. I looked forward to it all day, actually all week. I decided to include my mother who has Alzheimers disease. The restaurant was not crowded, we were seated, immediately there was loudness and sounds you just dont normally hear. We were informed there was a special needs group of 14-16. Now I have zero problem with people who have special needs or those with Alzheimers disease BUT I DO have a problem when their chaperons and wait staff allow their space to interfere with mine and my mothers. ONE hour later, after I almost had to get ugly (actually I think I did since I had to track down the waiter and tell him to either bring our food or I will just pay for the 2 sodas) low and behold our food was ready and arrived within, literally, 2 minutes. It was substandard at best. During that time I hardly saw our waiter. We were finally told that the only had one cook......REALLY, on a Friday night??? I went there to have a good time, and a good meal. I didnt go there to tell management how to do their job (like call another cook because one called out sick, Like ask the chaperon to do their job. Therefore, I DIDNT. Why on earth people cant be respectful of others, and DO THEIR JOB is beyond me! In closing, 1: the noise level was out of control, 2: one hour to bring out a sandwich & ribs in a less than half full restaurant is unacceptable to me, 3: the food was sub par, at best, 4: I had to ask that the dirty dishes be removed from the table after they sat there for 10 minutes while we waited for the check. NEVER, NEVER going back!!!!

Great service, asked to sit closer to the nationals game and the waiter politely changed the channel to the TV closer to were we were already sitting. Have been to other Red Hot & Blues and the food and taste is great. Read the other reviews, cant say anything about the loudness because it was a slow day but would definitely come back. Also bathrooms were a little dirty and art is outdated.

How are they still in business? something is always wrong with our order, this time our to go rolls had mold on them. When we called to let them know, they said "what do you want me to do about it?" That was the manager. Other times, our orders on slow nights could take over an an hour and were frequently wrong or they would be out of things. No more fun at this dump.

I you ever encounter a problem that can be solved with many pounds of smoked meats theyve got you covered. I had an amazing meal out at a probably the best restaurant in DC this weekend, and Im excited to go to RH&B today. If a place not being perfect is going to ruin your day dont go here. If you like huge plates of good food in a relaxed environment you should stop in.

I enjoyed our visit here. It was a week night and only a few tables were occupied, but there was a steady flow of take-out customers during our visit. Our server was wonderful and, although it took a little while for it to come out, the food was very good. They also have a "kids eat free" thing on Tuesday nights and online coupons.

Not too convenient for myself, but the food is filling and delicious. The staff are friendly, courteous, and considerate. We had one server who was particularly wonderful in entertaining our toddler daughter. If you like barbeque and are not going to get uppity about cooking methods, I recommend this place.

This place has great food, fun atmosphere and friendly staff. They give you lots of food, so be prepared to be stuffed! The service can be a little slow at times, so be prepared to wait a couple minutes before getting your food. I recommend the BBQ ribs!

Average American Chinese food. I ordered Schwean Chicken, it was hardly spicy at all and it was a lot of veggies. My wife ordered Kigdom Pork and it was overly sweet, for our taste. Service was good and atmosphere was inviting.

My pulled chicken sandwich was bland, but the potato salad was good. Service was friendly. The fries made my daughter and her boyfriend feel sick, so they couldnt eat them. The brisket sandwich my husband got was good, he said.

It took a little while to get the food out even though they werent very busy but it was worth the wait! The pulled pork sandwich was great and the slaw was good on the sandwich as well as by itself. I would definitely go back.

We have been going to this place for about 20 years. We love the ambience. The Memphis-style pulled pork and ribs are excellent and very authentic. If you like slow-smoked barbecue this is the place for you.
