Not too great. When we first walked in, we were pretty excited because it smelled like a BBQ place should. THe front of the house was impeccably clean and neat and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, that was the best part of our experience. We ordered pulled pork, pit beef, pit turkey and pit ham. Sides were french fries, coleslaw, mac and cheese, and baked beans. The pulled pork was the best thing in the order. But it was pretty dry and didnt have much smoke or spice. In its defense, we did come in toward the end of the day, but the lack of smoky flavor wasnt due to long sitting. The other three meats looked and tasted like deli cold cuts that had just been warmed up. No smoke flavor at all. Unfortunately, they were out of brisket so we couldnt try it. The sides were even more disappointing. The beans, slaw, and fries all tasted like inexpensive pre-made products. Nothing other than the "pit" meats had enough salt and nothing had smoky flavor. The three BBQ sauces we tried tasted like typical jar sauces, with maybe a bit of extra hot sauce added to the spicy sauce. I really hope these guys can up their game; it would be nice to be able to get good BBQ where I live. I am not writing this out of anger, but rather out of the hope that the owners will read it and take things to a better level. Im a fan of anybody who decides to go out on their own and I hope they succeed.

Very good family-owned barbecue joint. Brisket and Ribs are very good, but not limited to only those items. A mix of a la carte and platters / combo meals. In-house made sides are good to very good. Friendly staff. Not a large space but works imo for this neighborhood (mix of take out and dine in). Ill be back.

Excellent food and service. Used them for my sons going away party at the Damascus American Legion. They brought the food and set it up. The food was outstanding and got a lot of accolades from family and friends.

The staff is great and so is the food. They cook the meat fantastically. I find the sauces only okay which is why it doesnt get a 5. Try the pulled pork sandwich. 5 bucks on Mondays and its massive.

Some of the best BBQ Ive had in this area. The pulled pork was delicious. And the greens were some of the most authentic southern greens Ive had the state of MD. If your looking for good BBQ... stop by.

This is the real deal i had the pit beef..my wife had the beef brisket..loaded with fresh tender juicy meat..great sauces..great prices..this is my new pit bbq spot from now on
