The bread and Kabobs are as good as it gets and thats one thing that never changed in Food factory. The management seems to have started paying attention to customers complaints and have cleaned up the place. I heard some sort of music playing in the background too (surprisingly). The people handling the food were wearing gloves and hair nets and the biggest of all they have reduced the prices. Per the person on the register they are working on special value menu and have reduced the price for bread to .99. Gyro sandwich ($4.99) there is the best and cheapest in the area.

Customer service is really awful! They intentionally give you the cold -long waited- Naan bread to get rid of it on you. If you order for take out, they give you small portions, and they pick the worst chicken pieces, and sides to leave the good looking ones for those who pays $1 extra to eat the buffet. They guy who runs the place never smiles and he is rude! This guy and the Mexican cook are both rude and racist! Yes! they treat minorities real bad! I dont recommend eating there at all! AVOID BY ALL MEANS!

I only went here because I didnt know about Prince Cafe. I tried their vegetable samosa and I have to say..I was surprised. It was sitting in a dingy looking display case. Actually, everything about the restaurant was dingy and dark. The samosa was made with chopped up potatoes instead of mashed and I wasnt used to this. However, the guy who works behind the counter was amazingly sweet. I guess hes a student...he was pretty cute. :)

I have been at Food Factory once before and felt that the food during the lunch time was reasonable. Recently, when I had a take-out from there, the food was terrible to the point that I felt it was made by an amateur. The rice was not fully cooked and had a strange taste. The chicken kabob had a strange taste compared to other kabob restuarant. If you want good kabobs, I would not recommend this place.

If youre going here, get the lamb and the chickpeas. These are *excellent*. The rest of the menu is a bit spotty; not to say nothing else is good, but nothing else that Ive gotten can compare. You order from a counter and there is no attempt at making it a nice restaurant, which helps keep the prices down. Its a place to get good food of a genre that can be tough to find.

Terrible food quality!! Dont be fooled by the 4 or 5 star ratings. Most of the people who rated 4 or 5 stars are non middle easterns and they dont know much about middle eastern food taste & quality. I can most certainly guarantee the meat & chicken they serve is out dated. And lets not even talk about their customer service, thats a whole new terrible service chapter.

I used to go to Food Factory for the lunch buffet all the time while I lived at UMD. It was never spectacular but it got the job done-- hearty Pakistani food at a decent price. However, the food is really just average and the restaurant itself is a lackluster sight to see. With so many new options right down Route 1, its extremely difficult to recommend Food Factory.

Ive been recently trying to eat at various restaurants in the College Park area. Food Factory is a no frills restaurant. I went for the lunch buffet. I think if youre craving Indian food on a budget, this is a good option but I definitely have had better Indian food with a larger selection. Tandoori chicken was my favorite.

As they say, delicious slow food at fast food prices. The lunch buffet is out of this world, with their chicken tikka the most tasty chicken I even had. The vegetables are great, including wonderful spinach, chick peas, dahl, and best of all the just baked pita bread. I could have lunch there every day!

The food is pretty good but this place is so run down. I would say service is awful, but there is no service. The dining room was dirty, very quiet, and unorganized. The tables and chairs barely stand. I would suggest this place for to go orders only. But I guess in a college town, what could you expect.

Wow, my first fresh pita bread. I watched the chef place the dough in the fire pit and make the pita bread for my delicious gyro. He also cooked a chicken kabob fresh over coals! Very impressive, very delicious. Jasmine rice, and chick peas looked good too, even though I didnt partake.

Cheap - is the only plus, but considering what you get for cheap, its so not worth it. i.e. the prices may be lower, but the serving sizes are ridiculous too. So you are paying a lot for bad food. The owner isnt particularly friendly either. I dont think Ill be visiting again.

I have been going to this place for over ten years. The fresh baked Naan is fantastic, and if you order any Kabob from the menu you wont regret. The buffet however is a bit oily, and the items do not vary from day to day, but is reasonably priced. The decor is subpar.

The naan is damn good. The buffet is good, but selection is a bit limited. Overall, I paid ten bucks (weekend price) for two big plates of food that I greatly enjoyed eating. The buffet is an excellent value if youre hungry and you like complex flavors.

I really like this place a lot, I go all the time. The best bread Ive every had. All you can eat buffet is pretty cheap, but it taste really good and comes with their naan. Their gyros are really good too, if you want a quick lunch.

I got the buffet, little more expansive during weekend or at nights, but still really reasonable price with great tasty foods. Fresh hand made bread. Friendly, kind owners. Definitely recommend it.

Thats a really good restaurant. The prices are really affordable. Its much much better than somewhere like "Sakura". I would recommend you to pay for its buffet or get "Halim"!!!

The food is pretty good. I had the buffet, where you can have as much of anything you want except the naan. For the naan, you are required to have more than you want.

Strong food for the price. I love when a place like this does the basics well. In this case, the chickpeas served on the side of the kabob plate were just delicious.
