I only give 1 star because the servers were good. As for the food 0 stars.. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!! I picked up a plate from the dispenser only to get a sticky substance all over my hands, the NY steak was horrible, tasted like they dumped the whole pepper shaker on them, so I figured I would try having them make one back at the grill. well that one tasted like plastic, the food back at the grill was most definetly sitting for awhile, the rice was hard, the meats were starting to turn brown and look dry. The sushi, was beyond disgusting.. from sitting the rice was hard, had no flavor what so ever.. they had a very poor selection, even on Valentines day when they advertised so much seafood steak crab legs etc.... and now about 2 hours after eating there Im so sick to my stomach... will never return. Paid $35 for my husband and I both to eat 1 plate... if you want great Chinese buffet, head on over to aromas.. or if you dont mind a small drive head over to manor buffet in Lancaster pa..

I used to go there everyday after college and then ever week when I went to the mall. So I used to love this place. Every once and a while someone brings a bad child there. However today someone brought a child who was touching EVERYTHING with his hands. Parents did nothing, we did not notice this till we were on our 2nd plate. We spoke with the manager, all they did was talk to the parents and still charged us $30 to eat some 4 year olds filth. Needless to say we will never go there again. Something like this happened in the past when there was an older guy managing the place, guess what he did. On the house sorry about that. This new younger manager does not care about customer service. Good job whoever you are you just lost your place a good 4 - 5 loyal customers.

York Buffet is a decently priced Asian restaurant with a wide selection of dishes. The sushi bar is decent for a buffet and the sushi chef will make specific rolls if you ask. York Buffet offers hand dipped ice cream and a selection of pastries for dessert. They generally offer decent specials around the various holidays that include crabs or crab legs for an additional cost. They offer a hibachi grill where you can select the items that you want and they are cooked in front of you. Overall, this is a decent buffet and place to eat. The staff are friendly and generally quick to refill your beverage/take dirty dishes from the table.

Went in for lunch. The bill for three of us was $25, about $8 per person plus drinks. I feel it was a great value and for buffet prices, cant be beat. Food was tasty, with a variety of American and asian. Saw food ranging from black and pepper squid to bacon wrapped chicken. Had soup and a salad bar. Was in and out in a half hour all of us with full stomachs, and happy faces. As for previous poor reviews, I believe new management or new owners took over. The problems mentioned were not generally an issue, except did have garlic bread that was cold, but that is a hard food item to keep warm, especially in a buffet.

First time here and probably my last. Its not because of the food or service which were outstanding and the owner is a great person and very accommodating . Its unfortunately a lot of the patrons who act like they have both never been to a restaurant before and havent eaten for days. While I dont eat crab legs I observed one guy take the entire batch of crab legs to his table oblivious to the other people in line behind him. Other examples were patrons piling their plates up until the food was falling off. Come on people there is enough food for everyone no need to act like uncivilized pigs.

Let me start by saying I go to Chinese Restaurants all over the country. This one ranks at the top of the list. Huge and I mean HUGE food selection. The whole staff was busy keeping everything clean. The waitress keep my drink full and plates cleared. I deliver at a place next door and will certainly eat here again. Ignore the naysayers who had one bad experience this place was worth every penny. Really wasnt sure if it was a seafood or Chinese restaurant such a selection. LOVED IT

This buffet has really gone downhill. I was last there Sept 25,2014. The food on the hibachi grill was old and looked like a risk if I was to use it to have a dish made. Many of the trays were empty and the sushi was very skimpy. When we first went to this buffet in 2010 we were happy with the quality and the selection of food. Now we feel like there is nothing worth eating.

I hate to say it, but Ive gotten food poisoning twice from eating here (out of 20+ times Ive been). And you know, Im still not going to give it only one star because the food is tasty for a buffet, the crab legs are delicious, and I know Ill be back even with the risk of getting sick. I make poor decisions if all-you-can-eat crab legs are an option.

The food is actually good. More selection of Chinese and seafood then anything else. Salad bar is always fresh. Food trays are always full and if not.. they are certain to be out to fill them quickly. Dessert selection could use some variation. Chinese desserts seem a little blah. Self serve ice cream and plus for the kids. Price is very fair.

Really great place for lunch, I go here almost every week with my wife and kids. Huge selection, good food, and for lunch its a heck of a deal. Dont forget to say hi to "smiley" behind the hibachi grille, hes the only downside of the place, not once in two years has he ever smiled... at anyone... but its still a good place, definitely recommend.

Good food. Nice staff. Very spacious so people arent stepping on each other to get food nor so close together that everybody hears the others conversations. Sometimes a language barrier like when you have to ask for something. But they are always nice and friendly and get whatever you need.

Do not eat here! Meat from hibachi grill was under cooked and bloody. Brought it to managers attention we were blown off without even an apology. Other buffet food was cold and under cooked. Very limited selection. We were disappointed. If we could give zero stars we would.

Pretty good food, Fast and New. I went there for lunch since I was on break for lunch thinking it would be a small Chinese restaurant i was wrong it was big and packed and with tons of food. Cost me about 9.00 for lunch Updated - foods alright prices went up of course.

They are rude. Promptly at 330 they change the sign on the buffet and limit the items you can have or force you to pay more money.. went in at 310 for lunch and when 330 rolled around they came around to the tables and told people that certain items would cost more..

Their food is overrated and undercooked. Not a good place to eat. All their wheelchair accessible tables are right at thE front door or the exit door so you freeze in Winter and roast in the Summer...Aroma is a much better deal.
