I dont like telling others what to do, specially when it comes to the consumption of food. In short, the place is pleasant, soothing, calm and foremost allows you to enjoy your food peacefully. Food selection? All depends on what type of food you enjoy eating? I had mostly veggies (e.g., broccoli, mushrooms, etc) with a serving of salmon and some veggie noodles. If youre a health nut, meaning that you truly watch what you eat like myself, then you will enjoy the low sodium content each plate has, and the great source of fat soluble and water soluble vitamins. You can eat at your own pace without any rush. Do I recommend this place? Again, its all based upon your preference, we are each unique and enjoy different things, so try this if you like new things. I like to go here with my husband because its cheap. I feel like the price you pay is the service you get. The guy that is always at the register is friendly. The staff just go to your table to remove the plates youre done using. Other than that, you pretty much have to get everything yourself. You have to get your own eating utensils and drink. The food is good. Not a very large selection but it is worth the price you pay. Comparing to other places where you pay more. They have vanilla and chocolate icecream and both mixed too. If youre really hungry and you want to be cheap, come here during lunch because I believe its $6 or $7 lol. Overall, I do like the place. Just not the service from the waiters or w.e

I cannot understand why this place is always crowded. For a buffet, there is not much variety at the three small stations. And what food there is is greasy and poorly cooked. Certainly not worth the $20 that I paid for my girlfriend and myself. You have to get everything yourself including silverware and drinks while the staff just hovers around you and tries to hustle you out so that they can seat another round of diners. The dining space is way too small for the number of tables set out and you will spend most of your time dodging other customers as you make your way to and from the buffet stations. Easily the worst dining experience I have had.

I would give this place 2.5 stars. I have nothing spectacular nor anything bad to say about my visit. The food quality and selection were average. It was mostly basic Americanized Chinese food, similar to what you would order from a take out place. The desserts were also fine. But I will say that the customer service was fair, and the staff was very quick, friendly, and accommodating. We had a baby in our party and one of them gave us hot water for his food and made sure a high chair was available. So another half star for her.

The food selection isnt large, but the food quality itself is pretty good, especially for the low price of $7.99 (mon-fri)! Everything is fresh and they replace empty entrees quickly. The hostess Wendy is very nice and friendly as well! The waitresses LOVE babies! The place is almost always full inspire of the fact that Sakura is across the street (they have a larger selection of entrees). All in all, a nice simple place to get quick quality eats!

Food was good. Not a whole ton of selections. There are signs everywhere that say if you dont finish the food you grab they will charge you for it and that made me feel pressure as I was eating as the workers were watching me to make sure I ate it all. I felt like I was at my home dinner table with my dad breathing down my next telling me I better eat all the food on my plate because my mom made it haha.

Amazing. Looks a little sketchy from the outside, but super good food. All mostly Chinese-American food, with also a lot of American food options. My only suggestion would be a wider variety of Chinese dishes. Pretty solidly priced for what you get, especially when the drinks come with! A little messy, but the food made the rest not even matter.

Used to love this place, good food, Never had any problem with the staff, and it was cheap. Place was usually jammed with people and it could get quite loud and stuffy, but thats not the fault of the restaurant. Not a good place for a date, but if your hungry and just want some chinese, theres far worse places Ive ate in the area.

My friends love this place.... I dont get it. The food is gross, the place noisy and dirty, and the staff mildly rude. Blech. That said, if you are interested in overeating and not too picky about the quality this may just be your new favorite place...

Run of the mill food. High prices (food is weighed by weight + separate charge for sea food). And horrible selection for a standard buffet place ( Really who ever heard of an Americanized Chinese buffet without egg rolls?)

Worst Chinese buffet Ive ever been too. It didnt look that bad at first but when I ate some of the food, I realized the quality is not good. What a shame for place right next to a really nice university.

Not that great. Very small buffet which is not the issue. The food is mediocre at best. Then again most Chinese buffets in the DMV are.
