Used to be a favorite when they first opened. Food was good, service was at least enthusiastic if not great, and prices were moderate. That was then, this is now. Lately, service has been spotty: I cant recall a single server thats been there on more than one visit, and the turnover shows. Its a newb every time, and pretty much a sure thing on our last 3-4 visits that something will be wrong, forgotten, and/or simply slow. The manager(s) used to come around toward the end of the meal and ask if all was well... Lately they havent been doing that - probably know theyll get an answer they dont like. Theyve redone the menu 3-4 times already, with price hike each time, and managing to get rid of the dishes I most liked each time too. Prices are no longer "moderate" but a bit high, especially as the serving sizes have got pretty paltry. Portions have got a bit silly-small given the prices. Im not a fan of supersize me portions, but a small handful of shredded lettuce and 4 "nugget" size bits of chicken dont quite make a "buffalo chicken salad" - so what used to be an ample meal at sub-$10 is now closing in on $12 and leaving me still hungry.

Interesting atmosphere and decent food Ive gone to this place twice, and the first time i was impressed with the concept and atmosphere, and the food was good typical pub-like food. The most recent trip revealed a less satisfying experience. I realized that the cheap plastic chairs are quite uncomfortable. And some of the food definitely was overpriced and not worth it. We got an appetizer of chips with a choice of dipping sauce. Well...it was literally chips from a bag with some canned cheese sauce. Not horrible, but for $5 or $6, it wasnt worth it. I ordered half a rack of ribs, and I was very disappointed. For $14, I received a small, skimpy, weakly-sauced set of bones that would just about fit in one hand. These ribs must have come from a starved baby pig. By far, the worst set of ribs I have ever ordered, for the $. I usually take pictures of my meals, but unfortunately, this time I didnt. I guess I tend to do it mostly when the food is fantastic. Our other 4 meals were decent, and the boneless wings are good because of the variety of sauces you can order, but if you go here, avoid overpaying for less than mediocre ribs.

I hardly ever write reviews on businesses, but after visiting the new Quaker Steak and Lube, Ive decided to share my disappointment with the rest of Mechanicsburg. Before we even got inside, I almost killed myself on the unplowed parking lot, that was the least of my worries. When we finally walked into the place, the hostesses were on cellphones and hardly acknowledged my husband and I. Half the staff looked confused, including the managers. We were sat and it took at least 10 minutes for our waitress to arrive. We ordered our food and after what seemed like a few hours, it finally came out. The wings we ordered were dried out and the sauce itself was dried into the wings. My husbands entree looked delicious but due to the fact it was room temperature, it wasnt as appetizing. Before we left the restaurant, I used the restroom and there were no paper towels. Overall, I was very disappointed with the restaurant as a whole. I dont think my husband or I will be visiting the anytime soon.

Hate love relationship with this place! AMAZING wings! If you get a good sauce. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Jalapeño Honey or the Bourbon (something). Every other sauce I tried has been eh or less than eh! The Chips with Guiness Cheese dip, DONT GET! Gross. Barely touched em. Had a burger from here before, it was good. Not the best, but good. This place is also Pricey. The wait staff are extremely friendly though. Managers check on you personally, every time youre there and no matter the manager, to make sure youre enjoying the meal! One waiter in particular is GREAT! Hes young, vibrant, very welcoming and chatty. He recognizes me every time I come in and its simply great. He reminds me of myself at work. You dont see many upbeat associates at a business any more and its beyond refreshing to meet like minded people!!

Ordered the advertised Game Day Special which was posted on board at the wall AND a 8 1/2 x 11 flyer on our table. We showed our waitress what we wanted off of the flyer. When food arrived the order was not complete based off of the flyer. The waitress addressed the issue immediately and corrected the problem and provided GREAT service. Thank you Jessica! No complaints. But, with that said we were later told that the special is no more and that info came directly from the manager. After being on the wall board all lit up and directly on the table it seems that the error was a mistake but to the customer makes them feel deceived. We love QSL but that experience left us scratching our head.

Went on Saturday night around 830. Made reservations for 8. When we arrived the staff still had not figured out how to seat all of us even though we informed them over the phone. The shocking part was the place was empty and it still took 5 minutes to seat us. On to the dinner...food was luke warm, service was slow, staff was inattentive, beer glasses smelled like dirty dishes, salt/pepper shakers at the table were empty, the place was cold, the bread for my cheesesteak was stale, the pretzels were partially frozen, and we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience for the staff. Absolutely horrible. I will never go back again, it sucked.

Honestly some of the best comfort food Ive had in a long time. The lube Burger was phenomenal not to mention the Wisconsin cheese curds..out of this world!! Our waiter Randy was very attentive and helpful with suggestions on what was good and management even stopped by our table to make sure things were to our liking..... honestly not many places do that anymore!! They have so many different Wings sauces not its hard to choose what you want and believe me theyre all delish. Seriously give this a try. I know the reviews are very mixed and I honestly can say that I have no idea why....Thats How Strong I feel.

Terrible!! Went for dinner and ordered the grill wing salad. Well the lettuce mix was from a bag and tasted like it. I think the went to the grocery store and bought shredded lettuce. My sons child children meal was do little. He got the childs mac and cheese. Such a small portion. The service was bad. Waiter didnt know what beers were on tap and handed me a list. He didnt know my salad came with wing sauce of my choosing. I have never walked out of a restaurant feeling so disappointed. Each time we go it gets worse. Not returning!!

While I have to agree with the other comment that you can find local wings that are good and cheap, that is true for all of these "wing" places. I will say that I was happy with the service, the atmosphere was nice and the daily specials are worth a look at. I have eaten here several times now and I have not been disappointed. They have a large variety of sauces, more then the local places do. And anything else I have eaten here has been tasty also. Not a 5 star spot, but one that I feel is at least 4...
