I had the barbecue ribs.... Which fell right off the bone! Sooo good!! Also had the coconut shrimp, Mac and cheese, and green beans!! I am telling youuuuuu... BEST MEAL I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! Everything was on point! The sweet tea was great too! This was my first time trying it and it wont be the last! Also note... That this food was brought to us by a friend -since we just welcomed our son to the world... It was at least a 10 minute drive from the restaurant but everything was still soooo good!

The Chicken and Dumplings tasted like someone forgot to rinse the soap out of the pot. The Fried chicken was dry, and since this was a take out order, they forgot to put the BBQ sauce with the order. The fried okra was good. I will go somewhere else in the future.

A great taste of Southern cooking, one of the places I would recommend to any one. The food is all home made like you did it yourself but better. The best service by far in any restaurant ive ever been in. Dont believe any review if its negative. Great people.

Food was terrible, I got the bbq salad, the meat was fatty,looked like snot! Husband got the NC bbq sandwich ...it was a pork chop on a bun...his pupies were ok. The banana pudding was the best part. Would not recommend and will not be going back

Maybe they won some prizes from Pilot in 2010, but since then I dont even think they even bought other fresh meet. Thr bbq tasted as it was very very old, full with fat, as well as the sweet potato fries were full of oil. Dont go there!

Was in town for business and stopped by this looking for good southern BBQ. The restaurant had a funky smell and had an atmosphere like a Chinese take-out. Didnt try to food (went elsewhere), so cant comment on that.

My boyfriend and I have been going here frequently for about a year.. it is by far my favorite place around. The service is friendly and its always welcoming. NC BBQ should watch out because Rocky Mount is AMAZING!!!!!!

Their food is great. taste just like a soul food home cooked meal. I had fried chicken breast with baked mac and cheese and yams. my mother had the bbq ribs with baked mac and cheese and rib. awesome!

Great local place to get BBQ. Serves caroline style bbq, and has excellent sides. Great place to get lunch with co-workers or friends.
