Wow - I feel sad to be writing this but Ive had it with India Palace. I have been a faithful patron for 6 years. I am not sure if they changed management there or what happened. Two months ago we got take-out from there. When I arrived the host had me pay and then he couldnt find my food. About 2 mins later a man walked in and said he was given the wrong order. The host gave him a different bag and then handed me what the man had brought back in and made me take it. I said I wasnt taking food that another person took out of the store but he assured me that it was unopened and fine. I had already paid, so I figured I had no choice. After this bad experience, I did not want to go back, but I figured I had to give them another chance, after all I have been going there forever. Last night I called in an order for carry out and they said it would be ready in 20-25mins. I got there 30 mins after I called in the order and the host had me pay, then he said sit there and walked away. I waited in the lobby for 25 minutes for my food to finally come out. Almost an hour total for carryout for 2 dishes, bread and an appetizer? There were only 2 tables seated, they were dead. I was ready upset. It was $41 dollars and they already roped me into paying so it wasnt like I could leave. When he brought the food out he just handed it to me and walked away. Awful, awful service. This place totally went downhill. Sorry India Palace, you need to change your employees or close down. No one is going to tolerate that - especially for prices like those!!

We went there on a Saturday afternoon & had the all-you-can eat lunch buffet, at $10 each. The maître d waited until after hed seated us to tell us wed better hurry up as the buffet was over at 3 & wed arrived at 2:30, unaware of the cutoff time for the buffet. We were never asked if we wanted anything to drink, & the maître d /server avoided us for our entire lunch, never approaching our table again except to take our plates & hand us a bill. The food was unappetizing & disappointing - dried out, much of it tasteless, in near-empty containers that were only added to if you complained (as one gentleman did). The maître d made it obvious we werent welcome. I was so dissatisfied I wanted to not leave a tip, especially since he was surly & hadnt even done anything, but couldnt be that mean. For Indian food, Ive dined at much better: Mughal Garden in downtown Baltimore, has a similar lunch buffet at $9, incredibly good & friendly service and while not spicy enough, much better & fresher food. $10 spent at India Palace left me feeling ripped off. DO NOT recommend.

Go to Cafe Spice instead, this place is sorely lacking in cuisine and service. Actually the food is really not that great at all. Plus my last delivery order I payed for over the phone. When the driver finally arived, 2.5 hours later because they misplaced my order and when I called they were totally confused...but it did arrive eventually...cold. Oh yeah and the driver then told me they never collected payment even though I went through the credit card payment twice over the phone. So I gave him my information again and before he left my house he said everything was settled. But its not the end! I got a call an hour later from the manager and said they never received the payment, that the credit card information was lost and for me to please give it to them again (by now the 4th time) - So I hung up and reheated my food in the microwave and only enjoyed it because I was absolutely famished. Just go to Cafe Spice, Id give them 10 stars but 5 is the max

I made an unfortunate decision to visit this restaurant. The owner was terribly rude to us and provided us with an awful service. While we were at the restaurant, there was a family of 4 that came in with a coupon, and half of our dinner consisted of yelling between the family and the owner. Apparently the coupon could only be used for dinner, although it was no where stated on the coupon. At the end, the family walked insulted and embarrassed by the owner. The owner clearly doesnt care about his customers or his stores reputation. The amount of food served is minute compared to what other restaurants provide you for that price. The overall taste even lacked spices and flavor of an authentic Indian restaurant. Clearly the owner doesnt care about anything else other than money. Save your money and integrity - go to a real restaurant.

We live in the area and have been vising this place for years. If you like flavorful Indian cooking with delicious sauces that are not too greasy or over-sweetened, you have to give this place a try. India Palace must have changed hands some time in the past few years, because at some point, we noticed a significant improvement in the food. I recommend the weekend lunch buffet which I think is one of the best deals in town. They have a huge spread which can vary from week to week, and usually includes a few specialties that dont appear on their regular menu and are hard to find at other Indian restaurants. In addition to the usual dishes, weve seen them serve regional specialties such as pau bhaji, uttapa, and dosai at the buffet. I highly recommend India Palace for Indian food lovers.

Just went for date night on 9/25/16. The place was completely empty but they seemed busy with carry-out and delivery orders. The service was SO friendly and quick. We never had to ask for a single thing the entire meal. The food was DELICIOUS. My husband ordered saag paneer and I had chicken tikka masala. They spiced his up per his request. Some sauces and crackers came before the meal (their name eludes me). For dessert we ordered the kulfi, both mango and pistachio. They were both phenomenal but the pistachio was amazing! I very highly recommend checking this place out. We plan on heading back to check out their brunch which happens on both Saturday and Sunday. Very highly recommend. So much better than the delivery place we used to frequent in Towson.

We had dinner here last night (party of six) and the food was fantastic!!! I had the chicken tikka masala, my husband had the fish, and our friends had a variety of dal, chicken, goat and fish!!! The naan was delicious, the rice was spectacular, and the service was superb!!!! Well definitely be coming back! Everything was fresh and tasty!!! We recommend this place to anyone who looooves Indian food and anyone who has never tried it! Oh and we had a 6yro with us and even he enjoyed the food! Family friendly and very delicious! Kudos to our Kenyan head waitress she was awesome!!!

My wife loves Indian food and we used to order take out food from Indian Palace every week. The food was ok and didnt have a lot of flavor. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gotten worse over the past year. It is very unpredictable. Sometimes it is edible other times it is actually not cooked - I mean raw. Then there has been the issue of not actually getting what we order. The last 4 times we ordered from Indian Palace we did not get all that we ordered and paid for. I would love for this place to be better but it just keeps disappointing me.
