Called the location on Charles St. To have a pizza and a pound of wings delivered while staying at the Kimpton hotel a few blocks away. Person on the phone said it will be about 45 minutes. It was over 2 hours until the food finally arrived. When it got here the pizza and wings were cold... yes cold almost like the food was sitting in a refrigerator before being delivered. After it was delivered I called and explained that the food took a very long time to get here and it was no longer hot. The girl who answered the phone insisted on letting them make it right by delivering another pizza and wings to us. At this point it was 10pm, we were very hungry, and running out of time to have another place deliver something to us. She insisted she could have someone to our room with hot food in hand within 45 minutes. 45 minutes later no food, an hour later still no food. Called several times until someone actually answered the phone. When they finally answered they told us its been a crazy night and they will just refund our order. Waited over 4 hours for them to deliver a hot meal, but it never happened. By the time we finally knew they werent going to bring us food it was too late to have anyone else deliver food. Our dinner that night was the overly priced snacks available from our hotel. Thanks HomeSlyce for ruining our night.

I called to make sure that delivery was available to where I was going to be, and to verify up to what time delivery orders could be placed. I was told that delivery would be available. I called a few hours later to place an order. After being bounced around to a couple of locations, and placed on long holds several times, I was told that Im 4-5 blocks outside their delivery range. They offered pickup as an option. I explained that my vehicle is about 85 feet long and weighs about 80,000 pounds. Its weird, but they were unable to offer me parking. Mustve been why I called about delivery earlier. I was asked if Id like to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, there was no manager there. I left my phone number so it could be texted to the manager for a call back. I have received no call. I attempted follow up calls prior to closing time which werent answered. Had I been given accurate information previously, I wouldve figured something else out. Now its too late. The service at this place is as bad as Ive ever seen. Now, if youll excuse me Im going to go eat the singular Clif Bar I have in my truck for dinner after my 14 hour day.

Visited homeslyce on 7-23-16 at approximately 1015 pm . The location is on a very happening street with tons of foot traffic . The food was very good with excellent presentation. Bartender was one of the most unpleasant people I have meet , It was more than Im pretty and your not attitude. Me and my buddy sat down and thought maybe it was just us, but after a table of 3 sat next to us and said something to her very inappropriate about her customer service skills and demeanor . She proceeded to argue with them further engaging them . The whole thing was because table of 3 wanted to change their order and couldnt get the bartenders attention, so they grabbed the only server working the floor to tell of the changes. Bartender then literally threw their nachos on the table , altercation occurred , table of 3 walked out , bartender and server laughed about it and carried out as if nothing happened. I hope the owner addresses the angry bartender otherwise I dont see homeslyce making it ....

My coworkers and I have ordered takeout from the Mt. Vernon location many times, as our office is within walking distance. Most of the time the employees (especially the male employees) are friendly and helpful. One employee in particular, Ashley, has a nasty disposition and is rude on the phone every time Ive spoken with her. I should add that we order lunch after 1 p.m, and when we go in to pick our food up the place is literally deserted. Ashley has a bad attitude for a place that otherwise seems cheerful and bubbly. If I was the management Id be canning her. I cancelled the order I was placing today and will not be ordering from Homeslyce again.

It was pretty slow when I went in because was a terrible, no good, rainy day and the servers greeted me right away. I asked if they did take out and said yes, handed me a menu and offered me a drink. I order the lamb and beef meatball and it was amazing. There was a dip that came with it that I would have to describe as similar too but better than the stuff that comes with blooming onions at outback. They have skee ball as well, which is awesome. Great place for lunch if you need to get away from the office. 5 flippn stars!!!

Ive had their pizza before and it was great. This was my first time ordering delivery and I am highly disappointed by this. A great portion of The cheese has run to one side and I can only assume its due to the delivery methods. More care has to be taken because this is a mess. I cant believe I spent 20 dollars on this and only 3 of 8 slices are edible. I have to throw the rest away. The tomato sauce is barely on one half, probably due to it being handled incorrectly, which caused the other half to become utterly sodden.

Amazing food and service. I remember going here a while back for the first time while I was in the area I didnt know what to expect. But recently Ive been in the mood for some amazing Calzones and the first place to come to mind was HomeSlyce. I never remember restaurants; the fact that this was a one time experience and I can remember it all so vividly says it a lot. Definitely worth the 4 hour drive up to Baltimore when I want quality Calzones. Great portion/pricing too! Really hope they expand someday.

Make sure you count your money before leaving. The man tried to act like I was ignorant. I was suppose to get 10.63 cents back from the 20 dollars I gave him. He decided to give me back 5 ones. After he gave me five dollars I politely asked him where is the 63 cents. He responds back we dont have change here. Smh the owner of that shop should be ashamed of that type of stupidity. I will never go back again, nor recommend anyone to go there. Luckily it was only 63 cents which I never got back.

This was a great place! I definitely recommend this for pizza; definitely will be my new pizza joint to go to. I came on a Friday night and was not that packed but still busy. Their slyce sodas were very good (I recommend the Mango). Our waitress was very attentive and even when there was huge crowd near the host table and making a lot of noise, she even offered to move us. Well trained staff and great food! We had the 20 pie with fries and a cannoli for dessert, I recommend it all!

It was OK. I was there at 5 oclock, so I basically had the place to myself. I had the Port-the-Bella and really, it was a good pizza. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because it very much felt like a Dominos pizza. Typically when I go to a place like this, I expect a really good dough. This had what seemed like corn meal and a garlic butter on the crust. That essentially made it no different than what the new Dominos pizzas are.
