A classic seafood restaurant in a seaside town. The seafood is local and fresh, and you can really taste the difference. Prices are very reasonable, and the servers aim to please. My partner had the haddock Provençal, not to his liking. According to the waitress, people either love it or hate it. Not my idea of Provençal, it had mayo, Parmesan cheese tomato on it. Not bad, but not what we expected. My fishermans platter of two seafood choices, you can have four or two, was fried shrimp and scallops. Excellent, sweet and tender! A huge quantity for $20.00. We also had steamers, a little larger than the usual little necks, but these are local, not farmed. Their texture was tender and the flavor mild and delicious. Had an Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio and a local beer from Belfast. Quite enjoyed the meal and had a good view of the river. They make their own salad dressings, the garlic dill dressing was fabulous! Ordered a peanut butter pie to go.Will be back!

We (2 adults, 2 children) arrived at 715 on a Saturday. We ordered drinks and fried mushrooms. The waitress was nice, fast and attentive. She brought the mushrooms out and we ordered dinner at 7:35. The mushrooms were obviously frozen...not fresh. They were greasy and soggy. Our entries came at 8:25. A very long wait considering there was only one other table occupied. The food was disgusting. My kids chicken tender meal was over cooked and dry. The pizza was ok but not worth $10 for a small one. The fishermans platter had 2 of everything except haddock...cheap and cooked poorly. I had the lobster quesadilla that tasted like fishy tomatoes. I have come to this restaurant a year ago and it was excellent.Today it sucked...seriously disappointed. Was not worth the $70.

Had better lobster from a can. We ordered the "Lazy mans lobster" (meat removed from shell) and scallops entrees. Both were very small portions for the money. Lobster was overcooked and definitely not fresh and cost more than one that was cooked whole. When I asked if it came from a can, the manager was sent over and explained that it was from a processing facility that morning and that "they take pride in its quality". Scallops were overcooked and flavorless. We were very polite to staff and spoke quietly to them so as not to affect the dining experience of other guests, left a normal tip, yet on our way out our server made an insensitive comment to us loud for all patrons to hear.

Really pleased with the dining experience. I had the stuffed salmon casserole -just a light breading on top which did not detract from the flavor of the fresh fish. My friends had lobster rolls and fishermans platter. The lobster filled the roll and had just a hint of mayo. The selection of seafood on the fishermans was bountiful and fried well, not greasy or over-done. Enjoyed the side selections of vegetables, sweet potato fries, regular fries, mashed or baked potatoes, or cole slaw. We didnt have dessert, but other diners seemed to be all smiles with theirs! A good, family, home-cooked kind of place.

Ordered takeout and was super disappointed. My meal was supposed to come with a salad...didnt get the salad. Also I got a fishermans platter. It had overcooked fried clams and fries. No cocktail sauce or tartar sauce either. Didnt realize any of this until we returned to our hotel room. Just eliminated one of our choices for belfast.

Nice atmosphere and view. Poor food. Ordered the lobster stew and instead ended up with a watered down soup. Not stocky and filling. Steak my wife ordered....surf and turf was fatty and something i would normally serve my dogs. Fried shrimps were also not impressive.

Ive wanted to stop in here for a while now... thought it was just another tourist trap but was pleasantly surprised. Had the crabmeat melt for lunch and it was to die for. Service was great. Prices fare. Ill definitely be going back.

Ordered the sirloin tip and couldnt even chew it. Rubbery and bad tasting. Companion had the pot roast and it was dry and over cooked. Place smelled musty. Old facility. Try somewhere else in Belfast!

The pluses are quick service and a pleasant outdoor deck. The downside is fast and reheated is basically what you get for food. For made fresh with quality ingredients you need to look elsewhere.
