I was sooo Excited to see a new wing spot around...as I am always on the hunt every football season, but have always been let down. After reading about the new owners and the concept I was especially excited and convinced my family to order that day! Unfortunately, everything was a disappointment! The garlic Parmesan wings were the worst Ive ever had...there was no buttery sauce, they were dry and tasted just like the fishy frog legs we ordered... Yuck. I literally spit out most of the wings we ordered. the hot wings we tried them all, there was very little difference in both flavor and heat, that is until you got to the beast...of, course., which was total hiccuping fun, if you can handle it. The only ones we were able to stomach were the thai chili and teriyaki...which is not saying much. I have never had a worse wing experience, ever in my life, and that is saying a lot. I so wish I could give a better review, because I was so excited about this new spot...but alas, this was not meant to be....I did not see either of the owners there...so, maybe this had something to do with it..dunno.

I love this place with an indescribable passion. It all started with the fried chicken sandwich, one of my favorite food items. I couldnt get enough. I had to try the fried pickles and this turned into a go to dinner or lunch. I would call and they would know me by name even asking if I wanted the usual, fried chicken sandwich with fried pickles. After I realized I was becoming a regular, I decided I needed to try something else on the menu, the wings! Oh boy I cant get enough. Eat here but be prepared for commitment because you will fall in love.

Im only giving the restaurant 2 stars because I WAS a regular. Long story short, my lemon pepper wings were sour from the amount of lemon, completely inedible. The honey bbq tasted exactly like cane juice and hot sauce. I really wanted an exchange because I knew this was unlikely of them. So I drove from the West Bank back to Bayou Hot Wings and asked for an exchange only to be told, by the owner, "Next time, go to another wing spot if you dont like the wings." For that, Ill never return.

I dont post reviews often, but after reading the reviews of this place I had to know for myself whether it was "hot or not". The staff was friendly, helping me order their wings most resembling buffalo wings, and the wings came out unique and delicious...better than buffalo, and Im a big buffalo fan. Inside seating is limited, but there are two large picnic tables outside if the weather is nice. Ill be back!

I was very dissapointed. I ordered 15 wings and 3 tenders. They only gave me ten wings and they were very very small. They also charge .75$ for sauce. When I called I have the order that didnt seem to be concerned with their mistake, and when I told them I was unhappy with the wing size the manager hung up the phone..lousy wings, even lousier service..I will not go back

The wings were good, but Ive definitely had better. The sauce was tasty, but overbearing in that it made the skin of the wing soggy. Maybe thats how you like it, but I prefer a nice crispy chicken wings. Nonetheless, I would go back. Man vs. Food guy did a challenge their.

The wings are delicious and relatively inexpensive. The other menu items have always been top quality, with the fried pickles being a favorite of my out of town guests. When calling for take out, the staff is always personable and the wait is not long.

Been searching for good wings in NOLA. Was a dedicated Pluckers fan when I was back in BR, but BHW is definitely the best wingery ive found in NOLA. Very reasonably priced too. I go at least 1/wk.

The food is okay my husband said his burger was good. My wings were okay. Just do not need to wash your hands or go to the bathroom. Thats not allowed. They have no BATHROOMS

Outstanding Wings!! Moz sticks, hamburger, chicken wrap and fries all delicious. Drinks are classic coke products made with cane sugar in glass bottles.
