Ok.... here we go, came here because I heard the commercial for how good they claim their burgers to be. I started with jalapeño poppers which the cheese in the middle was still cold on 3 out of 6. Decided it wasnt worth making a fuss being ppl these days will spit or god knows what to your food. So when I ordered my burger , they asked me how I wanted it cooked, I replied medium please with pepper jack cheese dressed with no pickles. The burger came out I took a bite and it was dry and charred, so I doctored it up with as much ketchup and hot sauce that I could. Idk what the cheese was but it wasnt pepper jack it was like a queso, but flavorless. If you want the best burger in town just go to beachcorner its blowing this sorry excuse of a burger joint out of the water! Service was terrible they bring your food dont ask if need anything or speak kinda set it there like feeding an animal. As long as burger king stays open this joint will have competition!!! Oh yeah and after hearing one of the guys make the comment he loved when they hired women, he didnt care if they could make ice water he just wanted to have sex with them!

Great ,food,The in my opinion by far The Best Bar Tender Ever.To Be fair I have favor him for many years truly a heck of a guy,never ,ever forgetting a name or a face ,or detail from any conversation he has ever had between the himself and anyone.And thats no matter what is going on in his personnel life.You know who you are ,you are truly love by me and the entire family yes you know who we are,because of who you are you will enjoy his service I personally gaurentee that.take it to the bank.oh dont forget the food and the staff that prepared it,also most courtiest.Hours at which they operate is great for their clients.prices , excellent should be more stars for the staff ,establishment and it patrons.

Met the owner today on a flight from Costa Rica to Miami and have to say what an awesome guy. I havent been to the restraunt before but I can tell you that Gary is extremely friendly and easy-going and Im positive his restraunt reflects that. I have never done this before but he made a good enough impression on me to google his place and leave a good review. A good family owned business thats been around as long as The Harbour Bar and Grill is hard to come by these days. I would recommend anyone going through Metairie, LA to stop and grab a bite to eat because its people like Gary and his family that make this country great.

My wife and I had lunch here this past week. It is definitely a bar setting more than a grill. We both ordered the burgers and they were OK, by no means the best burger Ive ever had, though we do come from MN were beef is prominent and fresh. The service was very friendly. The biggest downfall is that while we were there, sitting outside, two of the bars employees were standing 10ft from us cussing and complaining loudly about the management. That is fine to do, just not while Im trying to eat.

Cant vouch for the "world famous" burger, left before we got a chance to order. Waitress spent more time crushing fireballs and chain smoking than tending to us. Closed out at the bar after we didnt see her for 20 minutes. Oh and she told me to turn my hat around... Very ironic considering the dingy atmosphere.

My 1st visit was on a Sunday night & was Awesome. The Bartender & Regulars were Very Friendly, Energetic, Laid Back & Welcoming to My Friends & I. We Enjoyed it so much that we stayed til closing, made new friends & will Definitely be back, very soon, to try the food & have already recommended it to friends.

Was just in New Orleans for Jazz Fest and stopped in for a bite. Absolutely FABULOUS bacon cheeseburger!! Definitely the biggest burger Ive ever seen. If you go away hungry from here its your own fault! Service was great. Staff was friendly. If Im ever in town again Ill definitely make a stop here.

What an awesome lunch, took to the Thursday ribeye special, excellent cut of meat and cooked to perfection, cant get any closer to medium which is what I ordered. 12 bucks was a steal. Service was 6 stars. Corteous and attentive. Shall be back again soon to try different stuff.

Takeout service is poor (cook has a hard time balancing grill with cashier function), and the takeout menu is incorrect (after paying more then listed on two occasions, I noticed there menu restaurant has items listed at $1-2 more than the takeout menu). Decent burger and slider.

None of the other reviews are true. All burgers are fresh, at least, and thats all I get, because they have some of the best burgers in town. Service can be slow, but never rude. They show football every day of the week, it seems; today some high school was on for gods sakes.

Biggest Burger I have ever had!!!!! It was wonderful nice and juicy with the cheese melted on top!!! uummm....uummmm Good!!!! They are open till 4:30 a.m. and serve their full menu all night long ..... The Harbor is 5 Stars in my book any day!!!!!

This place is great! I had a burger and my husband had the shrimp platter. The owners were in the parking lot cooking crawfish! They explained the whole process and even let my husband sample one! They were extremely friendly!!

A friend recommended this place to me a few years ago. Their burgers are one of the best Ive ever had. They also have really good cheese fries!!! I order lunch from there sometimes to go and its always ready when I get there.

The grill is in a separate space from the bar itself which is perfect when youre looking for good food late at night. Which brings me to another plus. These folks stay open super late and make a killer chicken sandwich.

Have never stayed for the bar, but the food in the grill is great. Big portions and great burgers, arguably some of the best in the area. Staff is always friendly. Takes a minute to make the burger, but its worth it!

Just, had a Harbor Burger; for the first time. It was a take out order. And, I asked for my burger to be cooked medium rare. And, they cooked it to perfection..!!! Thank you guys... French fries are good too..!!!

by far the best burger ive ever had love this place although the no hats & no tank tops is a little weird but the sweet potato fries were awesome & the burger big & juicy. great service & nice little spot

I love this place, they always have freshly made hamburgers that are top notch. The food is prepared fresh and the other items on the menu are always delicious but me personally, I go for their burgers
