Better than I-HOP No, that is not "I Hope" without the "E". I have been to both I HOP and Waffle House in many other states. With the exception of one bad experience at the Waffle House here in Houma on MLK Blvd, I find Waffle House to have faster service and similar to better food. The bad experience I had was not the food, but the waitress must of been having a very, very bad night. She was crude, non-responsive and just flat out bad. Otherwise, Ive always found the food consistent and the people friendly. The company has the employees greet you when you walk in just like if you were walking into an old town country kitchen restaurant, at least that is what I experience in other states, including Louisiana. IHop is okay too, but I think if you want faster service and a more value for your dollar, go to Waffle House.

This place was just dirty. I felt greasy just walking in. The waitress was, well to say she was a "sleepy" acting girl would put it mildly. The smothered hash browns were an overpriced disgusting mess. I actually was sick to my stomach after eating them. No way Id go back.

My family and I just left about 30 minutes ago from this location. We sat there for 25 minutes without even being acknowledged! Lucky I didnt act an ass. I understand it was slightly busy, but to not even been greeted or have a drink order taken is unacceptable!

Horrible, there is no excuse on how that place is operated. I will never go to the waffle house in home again. I am afraid if something is not done soon, this place will see some major law suits. Worst experience every.

Me and the wife stopped here for Christmas and besides the waitress trying to guilt us into tipping, it was a pleasant experience. They did seen way over staffed, which may have been why the waitress was so pushy.

I really like this location. There is a jukebox, and its totally fun to listen to your own choice of music while eating. The service was friendly, and the food was really good.

Great service. Food is always delicious. Not many places to choose from in the middle of the night. Last time I mistakenly went to IHOP. That wont happen again.

Typical Waffle House. Friendly service. I usually go at lunch when I go since it isnt busy. I hear it gets "bad" with loud, rowdy drunks when the bars close.
