The first time I ever went eat here was a couple days ago and the first 10 minutes were nice the food was pretty good and I found hair in my soup my sister told our waitress who then rolled her eyes and was very rude saying it was probably one of our eyelashes or a hair that fell from our eyebrows (this hair was way longer than eyelashes or eyebrow hair) we then told her that this wasnt our hair and we asked to speak to the manager she said that they were making a new batch and throwing out the one that contained hair and they were gonna give us more soup my sister and I both asked for the soups to go she said sure and we thanked her. The waitress came back with more soup (we had the all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks) and she said "Im surprised you can still eat if I found hair in my food I would have lost my appetite" I said we asked for the soup to go she said "oh now that I said something you want it to go" rolled her eyes once again and walked away . She never came back with another to go soup container so I had to share with my sister and then she brings me some sweet tea and the check without even asking us if we were done I reach over to grab the check and the tea accidentally spills she rolled her eye and balled her fist and took and deep breath I said "Im sorry" she didnt respond I grabbed napkins and me and my sister began cleaning it up she came and cleaned the ice off the floor I apologized again and she completely ignored me once again . This all happened at the Olive Garden in Houma we werent in there long . My sister and I were being as tolerant as possible with the rude unwanted comments from the waitress . We left and I dont think I would recommend this place to many people the waitress wasnt very patient and I felt like our visit here was very rushed .

As soon as I walked in I had a bad feeling... when I realized the hostess did not even acknowledge the ladies in front of us I should have turned my family around. The hostess was not friendly nor did she greet us directly or nicely They no longer have complementry salads for dinning in.. when I asked for the complementary salad she never once said they charge for it... The waitress was more worried about her friends next to us. Bread sticks were fluffy and dry After 1/2 a bread stick less than a cup of lettuce and croutons with barely any dressing the kids had a 40.00 dinner Because when they brought out there tour of Italy it was smaller than my sons nearly $10 build your own kids spaghetti dish...for anyone who doesnt know, there are extra charges all over the menu so look out for them....Good luck Olive Garden.. the manager Shawn Conner was rude and inconsiderate of the experience that unfolded and seemed perfectly fine with loosing customers...we will not eat here ever again... Horrible horrible...I can make an Italian dish that wouldnt take as long nor cost as much...

First the waitress had way too much additude. Second my appetizer was not cooked and it came at the same time as my entree which took a hour and 15 minutes to get to me .. then on top of that my order was not correct .. she brought me a shrimp scampi (which I am allergic to) and then by the time I got my food the rest of my family had already eaten all of their food . I now do not even want to eat my entree which means I am not going to eat at all because my appetizer wasnt cooked so I didnt eat that ... The only thing I did get to eat was a soup . I love Olive Garden .. this is my favorite place to eat . But today was a game changer . Really dont believe Ill be coming back to this one . And my bill was $130.00 and then I was charged for the soup that comes with the entree . Really !!! Wow and now Im looking at the check and she added a mozzarella sticks that wasnt even ordered ,so now I have to get this refunded . This has been a horrible experience plain and simple .

8 years ago this place was awesome, due mostly in part of a server in particular (Jim). Me and the wife would go all for him and leaves when he wasnt there. This is not to say the other servers where bad, just preferred that if we ate here (something we could only afford to do over a week) it be with our favorite server. We tried this establishment again for the first time in 2 years after 4 really bad experiences and was surprised at how nice the experience was we were served by a member of management (Amanda C) assisted by gentleman (Heck) in training. Both where friendly, nice to talk to and made the night a fun one. We will go back again however this time we will request that Heck be our server. Food was good.

Called to place an order for pick up. Was placed on hold for 14 minutes. I hung up. Called back and was placed on hold for 17 minutes and 43 seconds. Shanna or whatever her name is didnt pick up till I called from another phone and let her know I was still on hold. In the 30 plus minutes I was on hold, I could have driven there and dined in. I didnt, out of respect, as I was in my work clothes and figured it would be disrespectful to the other patrons. Should I choose to eat here in the future, rest assure that I will certainly dine in and wear my work clothes...warts and all!

Dont advertise a free dessert with my meal if i sign up for your email spam, and then tell me it will take up to 3 days for the coupon to go through. I waited for that coupon and went back a week later. Yea. Twice in a week over a free tiramisu. Its the fact of the matter. What I was given was a soggy cake that tasted like it was left out and was room temperature. Olive garden, Im disappointed in you. I gave you 28 glorious years of my life, and this is how you repay me? I will never be the same again. Its like my heart has been ripped out my chest.

Had Kristen for my waitress tonight at the Houma LA store. Waited 20 minutes for drinks and breadsticks, finally got my soup then my meal two minutes later and another bowl of soup two minutes after that. But they forgot to take the empties so we piled them up. Needless to say another table that was sat after we ordered had their soup and breadsticks long before us. Not going there again.

Dont expect genuine Italian cuisine here. It is American-Italian. So many complain about this restuarant because they somehow think itll be Italy-based. You cannot expect that from an American food chain. Once you consider that and look past that, pasta-lovers will fall in love with this place. Give it a try. May surprise you.

Poor service, our waitress had no idea what was on the menu and really had trouble taking a drink order (Dry Beefeater Martini & Gin & Tonic). Do they train these people or doesnt that matter. We were also told she couldnt find our food, some one else had already served us. You can do better!!!
