Horrible customer service and people skills. I went to this location one night with two friends. When we walked in, we were greeted with annoyed faces and attitudes instead of a "Welcome to Waffle House". We shrugged it off because we know that WH isnt the best with friendliness. We then proceeded to look for a table, but every table was either occupied or still completely dirty. Other people ahead of us were obviously still waiting for a table also. After standing for at least 10 minutes, one of the unfriendly waitresses asked if we wanted to dine in. We said yes and she cleaned off a table. We then sat at our booth for about 25 minutes without any recognition from anyone. All 3 waitresses passed by us numerous times without even speaking. They only looked at us, noticing that we didnt have utensils or drinks. We continued to wait patiently. After another 10 minutes passed, a group of young Caucasian adults come in and sit at the booth in front of us. Within 10 minutes, an older Caucasian waitress approached them and took their drink orders. I was infuriated and told my friends we had to leave. I cannot tolerate being discriminated against so blatantly. This same waitress passed us up countless times, but she swooped on to wait on the other table without hesitation. It is a shame that its 2017 and the color of your skin still gets you ignored. I refuse to support an establishment like this. I understand that people may get busy and without a rotation system for waiters its hard to see who may be next. However, this was NOT the case. There was a significant time gap between our table and the other table. It was disrespectful and no one should be subjected to that kind of mistreatment. After this ordeal, Im reluctant to try another WH establishment.

Id like to make my case for rating this Waffle House branch so low. I will begin by warning you that this is not a review of the food or of the corporation itself. Simply because I have not had the opportunity to experience what the food tastes like because the servers refused to greet my girlfriend and I or even take a split second to make eye contact with us within the fifteen minutes we waited. Its more about the aspect of not being valued as customers. This is the second time my girlfriend and I left and went to Airline highways Waffle House, which is twice as far, for significantly better quality of service. We were greeted before we could even finish walking in the door, immediately overwhelmed with the kindness and superior difference in comparison. TL;DR: Its worth it to drive to Airlines Waffle House for the difference of service. Tip people who care about their customers.

Went to this Waffle House based on the reviews- but this was probably the worst Waffle House Ive ever been too. The Waffle House shares a building with a lounge of some kind. The bathrooms were atrocious. Grime was caked on the walls, floor, counter, and mirror. The hand dryer was broken too and in its place was a steel rod holding a couple of paper towel rolls. After this, we waited a few mins in the waiting area before we decided to move on. The AC didnt work either and it was late June when we went. I wouldnt eat here if the good was free.

I went to Waffle House tonight and had a great meal. My waffles and hash browns were great and my server was nice (I dont know her name but she had pink hair). However, the store was very busy and every employee was hustling and working hard except for one. I watched her the whole time and she had no sense of urgency at all. On top of this she was in charge of cashing people out and to go orders. She took and filled one at a time which in turn made the line move even slower, I believe her name was Demetria.

The "To go" sucks extremely bad. They never answer the phone. I ended up walking from the hotel 3 times after calling 3 or more times before. When you get there, it still takes them 10-20 minutes to ask you for your order. After that, they mess youre order up. Would not come here unless its your only option in the AM. The food isnt bad, just the To-go area. It basically like theyre surprised for to-go, yet theres 5 other people waiting for it.

The worst service Ive ever had in a restaurant!!! Waited over 20 minutes to get waited on. Then brought half of our drinks with no straws. Got our meals over 20 minutes apart from each other. Never once was able to get a refill, while our waitress was walking around in circles doing absolutely nothing. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN POOR MANAGEMENT. The staff are nothing but Pieces of Sh** with absolutely no manners!!!!

Went here for breakfast/brunch and was disappointed by the service. The waitress only seemed to care about us AFTER we received our bills and paid at the register. One of the people I dined with received her bill before her food and there was no offer of a discount. Yes, I understand things can go wrong, but making an attempt to right them is good customer service.

Strike Three! I have been to this store several times & everytime I had to ask to place my order (or get my table cleaned). After speaking with the pimple-faced, college flunkie manager he made excuses for the dropout wait staff. The dumb staff prioritizes dishes and their personal conversations over hungry customers! Hey management, this is your Karma!!

More often than not, Ive left there pissed off. On multiple occasions Ive sat down and didnt get any service for 15+ minutes. No greeting, no eye contact, as if we didnt even walk in and sit down. I cant say anything about the food because Ive never been able to order!! Go to the Waffle House on Airline!!! They are the BEST!

This restaurant really made me and my comrades feel at home. It had the atmosphere of Mother Russia. Though there was no line we still had to wait days for our bread loaves. Stalin reached his hands from the depths of hell to congratulate the employees on their disapproval of the bourgeois capitalist pigs.

Its WH people so this aint fine dining. I have been in this WH several time and the service has always been pretty bad. Also expect to wait....One travelers tip, if you are headed west just wait 15 min (if no traff) until you get to Port Allen. Much better experience on the other side of the river.

Very nice experience. Greeted warmly at the door and seated immediately. Server, Tonne, was prompt and polite. Pecan waffle was wonderful as usual. The A/C was cranked a little high, but better too chilly than too hot. Overall a very nice experience first thing in the morning.

Horrible service. Took forever and multiple requests to get water refilled, charged a 10% carry out fee for a meal eaten right there, then shorted on my change. All while only two other customers in the restaurant. Avoid at all costs! Horrible staff, service and attitude.

New and clean but a Dysfunctional night crew... Sat for 10 minutes w no service then waited 20 mins for eggs, bacon, and hash browns that were still not prepared...I walked out. I will never return to this location. Most Unprofessional JV league crew Ive ever seen.

horrible. My 2 sisters and I went one night after the club and the staff was rude. They was so unorganized and kept getting people ordered wrong. They threw the cheese on one of my sister grits any kind of way and my grits tasted watery. Never eating there again.
