We made a simple to go order on a Friday night, and when we got home with it some stuff was missing. That in itself is no big deal, it happens. The problem is when we called about it, no one answered the phone. The next day we called, and asked for a manager. There was no manager there. We told whoever answered the phone what happened, and they immediately chided us for not calling last night. (we did, i guess they were too lazy to answer the phone) We ended up talking to two people who were not managers and after a lot of sass from the likes of someone named LizBeth, we finally got our meal replaced that was incomplete from the night before. No one apologized, or even cared. Do yourself a favor, as there are about 9 other mexican places in town, both authentic and fast food chains. Take your dollar somewhere that they give a damn about it. I dont know about yall, but I dont much care to do business with a place that has sub-par customer service.

It is a far cry from the El Braceros in Central City, KY. The plate I ordered is not what I received.(Keep in mind, I order the same dish everytime I am at El Braceros. I have for many years ordered the exact same dish! STEAK,RICE&CHEESE) But when I kindly brought this up to the waiter he literally laughed in my face and said it is what you ordered when it was not what I ordered. I have never felt as disrespected as I did at that moment. It literally ruined a special dinner that I was having with beautiful wife. I will never return to this place of business and will always recommend for others to go elsewhere. Now the El Braceros in Central City KY is probably the finest Mexican restaurant Ive ever been to. Very kind, very proffessional and very respectful. This one in Madisonville is not even in the same league. We will never spend our money in this zoo of a place ever again.

*NOTE: This is not a review for the El Bracero located in Madisonville, KY. Review for El Bracero located in Central City, KY. We first experienced El Bracero located in Central City, back in 2004. The new restaurant, decorum and cleanliness surpassed my expectations during our first visit. Once youre seated, the waitstaff bring you hot chips and spicy salsa and take your drink order quickly. Service is attentive, but not overly so. Food arrives in a timely manner. Portions are generous and priced fairly. I choose something different from the menu each time I visit, and my taste-buds have not been disappointed. The menu offers enough choices for anyone, even vegetarians. You cant go wrong if you enjoy Mexican food. I would highly recommend this El Bracero location for a pleasant dining experience.

Service was horrible. There were way too many servers so they just stood around and talked, right by out table. Food was not tastefull. The chimichanga was not fully fried and the chicken tasted bad. I have been to most mexican restaurants since moving to Kentucky and they seem to have the lack of care for their customers and restaurants. Im from Oklahoma and every mexican restaurants there work hard to make sure you come back. We werent greeted here, server rushed us taking our order and food was just food.

The food there is really good and so is the service. The only problem I find with this restaurant is they need a new location. The place is located in a flood zone. I know this hurts their business. When it comes a hard rain, you are up to your ankles in water. I know thats not very sanitary. But they clean it up and open shop again when the water goes away.

This place used to be awesome. Compettiton came to town and they just imploded. Service was spectacular now its the norm around this area, lacking. Food is okay its authentic. Word to the management STOP SERVING COLD CHIPS! Its "EL Brah" to the locals. Its a popular despite its faults.

Great simple Mexican food. Great service. Warm tortilla chips with homemade salsa. The salsa is flavorful and just hot enough. The chips and salsa were free with our meal. Thanks!

Food runner dripped hot cheese sauce on floor from kitchen to our table, then on my infant daughter. Staff didnt seem to care. Food wasnt that good. Wont return.
