que clase de restaurant es este ! que descrimina a la gente especial >> es una basura por favor ayuden a desaparecer el racismo y la discriminacion! basura de gente! como es posible que despidan a la gente de un dia para OTRO! sin decirle el motivo nadamas por que un hijo de empleado ya conosido quiere trabajar! es el colmo basuras!que no le interesa mas que el dinero que los clientes como nosotros los que consumimos,,por que de nosotros los clientes vive! ~ CREO que un dueno se preocupa por el vienestar de los empleados tambien igual que por los clientes! descriminacion por que! por ser imigrante ? por no saber hablar perfecto el ingles por ser una persona especial! es descrinacion! y llamare a recursos humanos pero esto se tiene que areglar! soportar bulin no es facil y ahora despedido sin justificacion es el colmo! por favor gente de nosotros come esa duena y no es justo que despida a la gente y la descrimine solo mpor ser duena! gente sin cerebro que no sabe que nopsotros solo venimos a trabajar honrradamente y poner nuestro esfuerzo para ser descriminado de esta manera!

El dia sabado fui con mi familia a cenar a este restaurante mexicano. Me parecio de muy mal gusto que tuvimos que esperar casi 30 minutos para que nos dieran salsa y chips. Cuando salimos a un restaurante vamos a comer, por ende vamos con hambre y hacernos esperar tanto por chips y salsa no se me hizo bien dado que es mexicano el lugar y regularmente es lo primero que nos dan. Pero bueno el servicio estuvo bien, muy buenas personas solo si deben arreglar eso y los precios un poco elevados.

I will give it one star even tough it doesnt deserve it. Ive been coming here for a while because i USED to love this place. The food has always been great as well as the service, but lately i dont know whats happening, theyre losing their touch with the people, they charge extra for chips and salsa! My favorite dish are the mixed fajitas, theyre delicious, however they are given a smaller portion and the price stayed the same.For what i pay here i would expect more! Not coming back unless things get better, and this isnt coming just from me, friends that constantly go there share the same opinion! Unacceptable!

I came here with a group of four on May 5. The staff were so friendly and took time to ensure that we were happy, comfortable, and our needs were met. They even took time to get to know us and chat, even on such a busy day. The food was amazing and incredibly flavorful. The margaritas tasted great and had a good balance. The space is small, so you have to be careful moving around, but its cozy and we were fortunate to be seated in the back where it was a little roomier. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants Ive been to in a long time and I plan on going back.

I had the creamy poblano pepper chicken enchilada special. It was literally the most amazing sauce Ive ever tried on enchiladas. I also ordered the guacamole appetizer during happy hour bc it was $2 off. For $8 of guac I didnt get much but I get it. Its the city and avocados are expensive downtown. The guac was amazing but still overpriced. However, the $5 house lime Margarita was very good. Usually places serve cheap mix and cheap liquor but not El Nuevo. I still think we have the best Mexican restaurants in the US and El Nuevo is now in my top 5 in this city!

This is a safe approach to Mexican food in a more upscale setting. Its clear this restaurants caters to a specific clientele, theyre not trying to win over people who actually enjoy authentic Mexican food regularly. But! The food is not bad, its pretty good, just seems to be something a little off about it. They also did try very hard in at least making the place look authentic, adorned with Mexican art and other knick knacks, in brick wall facade. You could always come in and drink a whole bunch of margaritas!

I have almost always had a great experience here. They pay close attention to quality it seems. The portions arent as big as some other mexican restaurants, but the food is really excellent. The tables are kind of close together which can make you feel crowded if they are crowded. If they are not too busy they always seem to leave a table between you and the next group which is always nice. I would definitely recommend it if you are savvy to the other mexican-american restaurants in town.

I grew up in the excelsior quadrupedal burritos still taste great and the melon Fresco is the best combo meal IMO.Wait times can be crazy, but is understandable when theres 10 plus guys waiting for food and 10 plus ordering food, but they still manage pretty good.Salsa is good and plenty of salsa types, avocado, red spicy, regular onions tomatoes cilantro, etc. if they had delivery I would order from them once a week 40$ worth of super burritos and large melon or torch for lunch .

Absolutely authentically delicious- I enjoyed this place so much. We ordered pitchers of margaritas on the back patio and quietly closed the place down. Service was impeccable- our server brought ice, extra tortillas, refills before we even noticed we needed anything. I would highly recommend the steak fajitas- which include a lovely little platter of guacamole, sour cream, cheeses, and fabulously spicy chunky salsa. Comfortable little establishment to get your Mexican fix.

5 stars can easily go to El Nuevo! Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago, talk about quality food and great service. It is the cutest little spot with delicious food and strong margaritas! You have to ask for the warm salsa when they bring out the chips, it is out of this world and the shrimp tacos (not always on the menu but always available) are the excellent. I am yet to have had a bad experience at El Nuevo.

This was some of the worst Mexican food Ive ever had. Its pretty bad when your food comes out within minutes, you know they just had to have heated it up and not cooked it fresh. Also, my boyfriend and I ordered different meals but it looked like the same thing just with different sauces on it. The margarita was extremely watered down and had no flavor. This place has been featured on Check Please, but I do not recommend it.
