We are from Georgia, specifically where many good Mexican restaurants are located. In comparison, el Dorado is similar to what we have at home. We were not impressed at all with the salsa that was brought to the table. Tasted more like spaghetti sauce than salsa. However, we asked if they had a spicy alternative and were given a bold flavorful salsa that put the original to shame. I ordered the fajitas carnitas, my wife ordered a plate of nachos how she wanted them, and our kids ordered off of the very extensive kids menu. Food was to us within ten minutes which was quite impressive. Food was very good and well prepared, although not the best we have ever had. If you are looking for a decent Mexican restaurant while traveling, and are craving something spicy, el Dorados spicy salsa is worthy of the stop.

Eldorado looks to be a local favorite. Its small. We ordered Potato Skins (most bacon and potato skin).Supreme Nachos (ground beef,chicken,refried beans,sour cream,Pico de gallo).tasty. not a tasty looking dish. Watery chicken (soggy chips).No Pico. Used chips from basket and spread on them. Ordered a frozen margarita..dont. Was not even as flavorful as a lime slushy. Sent back. Ordered a top shelf on the rocks. Better but for a Top Shelf Jumbo, I should have had a tiny alcohol sensation. Its handy for those staying at hotel, after hours on the road. Suggest next exit North for better selection.thats what our desk clerk suggested as well. No photos. Food doesnt look like menu pics.

The food was ok but the salsa was rotted! The 3 foot tall manager was soooo rude! He asked me what kind of kids dd I have because theyre so broke they couldnt give me rice. They gave me a spoonful of rice for the kids. I called him to order more and I even offered to pay for it and he said "Ill just give it to you!" So I went back and the girl claimed that the owner would never be there! I wanted to complain but sje claimed that I couldnt! That little guy thought he was famous. I ordered caldo and the I got there and he said it would be 20 minutes. I called 20 minutes later and he said it would be 30! La verdad, que asco!!!

Very nice .the best mixed chicken steak & shrimp.fiesta Taco Salad I have ever had ..& I have had many establishments boast they had the best ..none were this good ..I recommend if you like taco salads this is the place to.go Very nice servers,the cook on shift was Excellent! So good he was tipped ..straight quality ..the chips salsa ..were great I had read a previous review I was Leary ..for nothing it was fabulous ..Burritos all.who ordered them in out party were very satisfied ..beef was the type ..Beer ( Bud bottle ) Pina colada..very good Over all.GREAT ..WAITER WAS GREAT ASWELL

At first they wouldve gotten maybe 2 stars because after ordering a DOS Equis and the waiter coming back to tell me they where out ! I almost walked out. But decided to stay and try the food. Salsa was not that good so I asked was there another kind. He said yes we have a hot. Yes it was hot but not good tasting. My favorite Mexican dish is polo con crema which they didnt have but was willing to try and make for me. Surprisingly it was very good ! I would definitely come back.

Local Mexican Restaurant chain in the South East ky.. They have 4 locations in Manchester, London, Williamsburg, and Mount Vernon Kentucky. I personally go to the London on right next the Microtel Inn and Suites in London KY. I stay at thr hotel all the time and the staff recommendeds this place everytime. Inexpensive meals, large portions, and friendly staff.

While I was expecting your standard "Americanized" Mexican food, everything my wife and I ordered here was pretty bland all around. Wed been driving for ten hours, and were hungry enough to eat anything, but likely wont return. I guess were spoiled with the plethora of better Mexican restaurants in Louisville.

Somewhere between 3 and 4 stars actually. The chimichangas are smaller than most so you get 2, they burnt a lot of the food and its the second best around here for Mexican food. Plenty of seating and very friendly however.

Didnt get all our take out order...was very disappointed in the food today. The meat in the fajitas was so tough and fatty...very bland tasting, not hot...I so loved eating there, but not a good choice today.

Worst burrito in 50 years. One chuck of chicken about the size of a thumb. And water logged from the moister in the lettuce. Complained and no real apology. Left hungry. Told them to keep the money.

Food decent, but salty. Couldnt make tea at 3 in the afternoon, only have sweet, for me and we were there and hour. Really cant lay a tea bag in the machine and push the button!?!?
