We WERE big Asuka fans however me and my husband went for takeout the other night NOT knowing that when you order your food to go they dont put it on the grill they cook it completely different. Our steaks were under cooked and sitting in brown grease, we had NO teriyaki sauce, and our rice was bland and tasteless. It tasted like they had took that food that had been sitting back there ALL DAY and heated it up and have it to us. Thats the worst hibachi Ive ever had and Ive been eating it for years. We spent $50 in there to only throw it all away. Called the next day and spoke to the so called owner and he said there was nothing he could do because its not cooked on the grill its cooked differently. I told him Ive never had this problem at the Nicholasville location. He claimed he owned both. Well we wont be coming back and will TELL EVERYONE we know not to go back either.

Came by on a Tuesday night while travelling north. Ordered Rainbow Roll and a noodle entree; both were fine, but the noodles had a little too much sauce, and the sauces didnt pair well with anything on my plate, but neither detracted from the rest of the experience. Waiter was friendly, and chef did the usual grill-tricks. As seems to be the case with most hibachi meals, there was too much rice, but that can slide. Overall, a fine place for a quick, savory dinner.

Its aggressively mediocre and honestly not worth the price. The fried rice was average as well as the salad, but the soup was lacking flavor. The sushi and sashimi combo wasnt very good and the teriyaki sauce is excessively sweet. There are better Japanese restaurants, I highly suggest finding another one. I definitely will not come here again.

Very expensive for the quality. I went there for lunch and for two people with one entree each and 2 sodas it was over $70 with tip. The couple with us ordered a drink and didnt like it, so instead of taking it off the bill, the waiter charged US for their drink and then asked me if I wanted another one. Not quite sure what happened there.

Utterly forgettable. A little pricy and not bad but also not great. Having said that, the exception was a delicious Sushi dish involving crawdads, crab, and a wonderful spicy sauce. (Ninka, I believe it was called.) While I probably wont be joining them for lunch again any time soon, I may find myself ordering some sushi for takeaway.

I have been to MANY Japanese steakhouses in many different states and this one was by far, the worst Ive ever been to. The service was bad and the food was subpar. We sat at the grill expecting a show and was very disappointed. We will not be going back again.

After ordering sushi takeout we told them we wanted soy sauce and chopsticks, they did not put any in the bag and when we called back the rude hostess and manager said we were lying and told them we didnt need any. Do not order takeout from here!!
