My girlfriend and I went here for our two-year anniversary because we both love Hibachi. However, upon arrival we opt out of the Hibachi seating for a more secluded and intimate dinner. Although I cannot comment on the skills of the Hibachi performance, what I can comment on is the meal.
Overall, the meal was average at best. My girlfriend opt for the Hibachi Chicken, and myself the Hibachi Chicken & Filet Mignon. Both mean came with Taki soup, green salad, Sautéed vegetables and streamed rice (fried rice for an additional $2.50). My girlfriend found her meal to be quite delightful, I on the other hand, not so much.
In my own personal opinion, the meat was not seasoned enough. On its own, the meat had no definite taste to it. However, that was nothing a little yum-yum sauce could not fix. I also opt for the fried rice but aside from the slight taste of soy sauce, the fried rice tasted much the same as the stream white rice. For the price I would have like the tastes of the meal to stand out a bit more but oh well I guess.
Overall, we still enjoyed the meal and the restaurant decor and atmosphere. In addition, I would recommend the cold served Sake over the hot served if you wanted to try Sake.

I took my family to dinner for Fathers day to this restaurant. There was five adults, two children and 1 4 month old. We we arrived around 5:30 the restaurant was mostly empty. The hostess was on the phone and didnt acknowledge us at all, Once we walked up to the stand, she went to speak to a manager, returned and ask us if we needed menus. When we ask about kid menus, we were told to ask the server. When we did we were informed that the priice would be $3 more since it was Fathers day. She then took us to the dinning room, where our server Michael, seemed like he had a really rough morning and was ready to call it a day. The food was not that well seasoned and the atmosphere was even worse. Once we were about finished, Michael walked over and ask if we need to go boxes and if the check was all on one. Note: they added the gratuity and would not honor any specials, The last thirty minutes of us eating, the manager and the server were looking at their watches and asking if we needed anything else. We were never offered the ice cream. Basically just asked to leave. We will never go back. When we said something to the manager, we were told to have a great day. He wasnt concerned at all.

I was very entertained through the whole hibachi experience and cooking show. The cooks were great. The waitress however overcharged me by at least $11 in cost and when she brought back the correct receipt minus the over charged items, she had a nerve to point me directly towards what I should be tipping her at the bottom of the receipt. So even though I was feeling some type of way on how pressured I was, I went ahead a gave a $25.00 tip only to find out 2 days later that they already had my tip included of $19. By now I am upset cause the service from the waitress was barely and I mean barely worth 15% let alone more. But to find out that I was swindled an extra TIP is very upsetting. I went there with my husband and 5 kids all too young to pay their own meals. However consider how many were in my party is why they took a tip and the tip the waitress asked me for on the slick. When I reported this to the manager, his response was......"I dont know what to say"

Came to celebrate Fathers day with the family. The food tastes good (a bit overpriced) but unfortunately the service here is horrible! The hostess Im assuming didnt know how to do her job. She seemed annoyed the moment she saw us walk in, asked us about 3 times how many we were, & even asked if we wanted menus?! Um, yes? Also, we felt so pressured as we were eating our food. They started cleaning the grill as we were eating - we asked them to stop so that we could finish. One of there employees stood in the room the entire time and kept looking at his watch then the manager started doing the same. If they were waiting for a party or needed the table they should of said something insateas of being so rude. We said something to the 2nd manager and all he said was sorry and didnt seem to care much. Over all the experience with the employees was not very pleasant. Wont be going there again.

My friend and I were looking for something near Perimeter mall to grab some sushi. We stubble upon Taki Japanese restaurant. It is nestled in the back corner of the Wal-Mart plaza. We walked in and we were greeted with smiles and rushed to plush comfortable chairs and out of the scorching heat of summer. Our waitress was so sweet she even suggested some great sushi rolls to try. We had a variety of food and each thing was better than the next. We started out with Calamari which was light, crisp, and seasoned great! Next was the shrimp noodles, they were a lot thicker noodles than what I expected, but good none the less! The next and finally dish of the night was the sushi! I opted for the Salmon roll which was good, but my friend had the lobster roll which was phenomenal! I absolutely love this place and I look forward to coming back for some hibachi next time!

I WENT TO TAKI ON 8/13 FOR MY BIRTHDAY. I HAD 8 OTHER GUESTS WITH ME INCLUDING MY TWO KIDS WHO ARE 3 YRS. AND 6 MOS. OLD (SO ITS KID FRIENDLY). I MADE RESERVATIONS FOR 8PM THAT DAY BUT I HAD SOME PEOPLE RUNNING LATE. WELL THEY WERE VERY PATIENT WITH ME. EVERYONE WAS NICE AND ALWAYS HAD A SMILE. THE DECOR IS BEAUTIFUL. VERY FINE AND ELEGANT. THERE WAS A LIVE SINGER PLAYING A GUITAR... I LOVED IT......WE WERE AT THE HIBACHI TABLE SO THE CHEF WE HAD WAS FUNNY AND VERY ENTERTAINING. I HAD BEEN CRAVING SUSHI FOR DAYS AND WHEN I GOT IT THERE I WAS VERY SATISFIED!!! I READ A FEW BAD REVIEWS BUT THAT DIDNT STOP ME. EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION WHEN THEYRE HAVING A NEW DINING EXPERIENCE BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ARE MORE PICKY. DONT NOT IT BEFORE YOU TRY IT!! I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK FOR (MORE SUSHI ESPECIALLY). : D

Whats wrong with you guys, are you guys just trying to make money by any means? 1 - Your waitress doesnt know how to be nice. 2 - Quality/taste of food was not upto the mark (charging $26 for a dish, it better be amazing). 3 - Whats the deal with charging $8 if we want to share the food. We had some wine and appetizer at another restaurant and we were half full, on same night we decided to try this place just to see how good is your food. I had to spend $57 just to figure out hows your food, and it turned out to be no better than any medium price restaurant (under $30-$35 for same food). 4 - I had worst fried rice ever. I can make better at home.

I went to the manager and said sir thats to tight he said well thats all i got but you got a hole empty room in the next room that he said was for a party that was coming at 9 . Well we were there at 630. So he wouldnt Make Any accommodation for us. And said that was all he could offer us. Very nasty manager.
