We were very excited to take my niece and nephew to a Japanese Steakhouse for the first time. We had no idea how expensive it would be! There are no kids drinks and prices, so it was full price for the half cup they drank. I got a side of rice to go with my noodles; the waiter wrote "extra rice" and when the chef came out, I ended up with over half a plate of rice, but no noodles. We waited until the chef was finished to ask the waiter of someone in the kitchen could make a side of them, and he tried to talk us out of it, saying we wouldnt have to pay for the side, then came back out and asked again because "it could be two or three minutes. I got them maybe a minute later, and they were so gooey they stuck together. We have gone to hibachis with 8 of us and didnt pay as much for two kids and three adults.

I put in a reservation two days early for New Years Eve at 7:30 for four people. We arrived at 7:20 and of course expected to be seated around 7:30. There were a lot of people standing around in the tiny restaurant waiting. We slowly started to realize that the person in charge had over-booked the Hibachi tables and he couldnt seat us at our reservation time. We asked him when we might be seated and he basically had no clue. The staff looked overwhelmed. Terrible restaurant management. The person we talked to even had the nerve to ask us why we were so "mad." Its sad because every other experience Ive ever had at Hibachi Master has been great. We ended up walking out around 8:00 and were forced to find another place to eat on NYE. Terrible way to start our evening. Wont be coming back.

My girlfriend and I are hibachi enthusiasts. We have been to quite a few hibachi restaurants around Cincinnati--everything from Benihanas near Tri-County Mall to The Iron Chef near Deerfield on Fields Ertel Rd. and many more. This is hands down the best hibachi restaurant in the entire Cincinnati area. Everything from the salad dressing to the meat to the rice is top notch. And when it comes to sushi, this place cant be beat. Everyone on the staff is very polite, and service is exactly as it should be: fast and accurate. If youre here on business, or maybe just looking for another quality restaurant to patronize, you owe it to yourself to let Bin and his staff meet your hibach/sushi needs!

Did not honor our coupon because somebody else at our table (tables are generally shared at the hibachi with several groups) had already useda coupon. After explaining this several times our waiter played ignorant and reinforced the "one per table rule". We backed off and humbly paid our bill so as not to make a scene in front of the other guests. Additionally, a relatively minor quibble, but they no longer do the sake spray around the table which they have done previously, and which we have become accustomed to at any hibachi grill we visit.

Very poorly run. We had a large party (38) with reservation made weeks in advance. We were assured we had the back room which seats around 40. Everyone shows up for the party and the back room has 12 non party guest that had just been seated. We were all kept waiting for 35 minutes. The owner was arrogant and uncompromising. Good new was Foreign Exchange (nearby) took our entire party on short notice. The food and service at Foreign Exchange was wonderful. Needless to say we will never go back to Hibachi Master again..........

Who cares about the decor, Im too busy eating delicious sushi!!! To the person who wrote a nasty review regarding the party of 38, you are an idiot. Of course it is going to be hard to accommodate a party that is bigger than the restaurants maximum occupancy, you are foolish and probably a very difficult person to begin with. Regardless, I love Hibachi Master and have great dinner dates with my girlfriend quite frequently!

Its not a traditional Hibachi grill where the chef cooks everything in front of you, they do it in the back. Ive been to many Japanese restaurants and this one was below average for sure. They burned my fried rice, so I would recommend the steamed if you go there. It was very cheap (for lunch anyways) and the Sakura (or yum yum sauce) was delicious, top 5 ive tried for sure. So not all bad, but im not going back.

Horrible. The cooks are aggressive and vulgar in their "entertainment" tactics. The portions are less than half of what they should be for the price. The scallops were old and small, the sushi, lobster and filet were okay. The wine was vinegar, and they tried to pass off a second glass from the same rotten bottle as if it was from a new bottle. I would avoid this place like the plague.

I brought a group of 19 people to the restaurant for dinner. The staff graciously accommodated all of us at their largest table. The waiter did an excellent job with keeping our orders straight, while the one Hibachi Chef manages to prepare, cook, serve, and entertain all of us effortlessly. It was amazing. The food was great. Then they had no problem providing separate checks!

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. The owner is always there to chat and the food is exceptional. We had our meal comped once because the overwhelmed service was slightly slower than usual. The new redesign is beautiful and allows patrons to watch the food being prepared if thats your thing. Dont miss the tempura ice-cream!!! A++++

I only ate on the hibachi side and from what I saw, it was kind of dirty and very hole in the wall esque. The chef was unthusiastic and sloppy. I ordered a filet and it was a cheap what appeared to be skirt steak. The server was untucked and buttoned up shirt was unbuttoned. With all that, the food was pretty decent. The lobster was cooked perfectly.

Great sushi, good prices ! Owners always greet you by name and with a smile. Favorites are the Bin Roll, the Tiger Roll, spicy tuna roll, Red Dragon, and actually anything else that Ive ever gotten there. Thinking about it is making me hungry.... One of these days Ill try something cooked, but you cant go wrong with the sushi !

Horrible! "Fried Rice"!?!?!? No salt no pepper not real hibachi!! They only heated up rice added more water or oil dont know what it was so soft and sloppy same thing with the noodles heated on grill less than 1 min! Locals love it but this is NOT MASTER ANYTHING! Basically I could have cooked my dinner better in a microwave!

Been going here for close to 8 years now. Some of the best service followed with amazing sushi and sashimi. This place is probably the most consistent sushi joint in Clermont county. Everytime we go the food is fresh and expertly prepared. Always get the Volcano Roll and fresh Uni when they have it. It sells out fast!!

Love this place, I always make it for lunch. Tried the hibachi with some friends and our chef was fantastic! Puts certain chain-hibachi to shame. ;) All of the staff have been every wecoming and personable, and the food is always excellent, the building spotless and service is very good. Make sure to give it a try!
