This actually a review for the Bowling Green location. If they want to succeed in Bowling Green then this store really needs to step up its game. Family stopped into eat around 8:30 one evening and we were not impressed. For one there were about four times as many employees as there were customers, waiters were literally tripping over themselves, and yet our service was slow. We had to wait for a new waitress because our first one apparently couldnt serve alcohol. Our drinks sat empty for several minutes because our waitress was lost in the crowd of employees. And it took about 45 minutes to get our food despite being one of the few tables that were actually occupied. I understand this is the first week of bussiness, and that over time the kinks SHOULD be ironed out, but for a first impression this was extremely lousy. On top of that the food just wasnt that great. My mother had the spagetti and meatballs, and she says they had literally no flavor. I had the Spinach pie with grilled Chicken, which I misunderstood to mean that the chicken was in the pie. Instead the spinich and feta was wrapped in the dough and the chicken was in two seperate breasts on the side. This might have been my fault for being unfamiliar with the dish, but the menu really should be more clear. In addition my chicken, and the chicken in my fathers Marsala was very dry and over cooked. Not burnt, but it really didnt have any moisture left in it. To cap off the experience, the air vent next to our table started leaking water towards the end of our meal. Probably has something to due with the humidity, but it was off putting all the same. To recap, the service was slow, the place was crowded with employees, the food was mediocre/poorly prepared, and in my case I didnt get what I was expecting. Im glad to see a "local" bussiness open up but these kinks need to be ironed out fast if the place is going to survive here in Bowling Green. Were lousy for sit down restaurant, you really need to shine to stand out here.

Yum! We were invited to a birthday party here. Neither of us had ever been to a Gondolier restaurant before and were skeptical since we arent fans of Italian carb loading, but wanted to attend the birthday party. There were a few mixed signals as the party was set up for 25 people to sit at several different tables- bummer. When asked if the tables could be moved so we could all see one another, the waitress said it was not the best way to serve the party. The next hiccup was when the waitress dropped off several drinks and ran off before confirming if they were correct- they were not. After a simple request, it appeared as if the management stepped in to assist the waitress and her attitude improved dramatically. A manager even asked why our tables were not connected and we just smiled and said we did not think it was allowed- he promptly moved our tables. The food was yummy, but unfortunately we seemed to eat in shifts as the apps for the first table were served before those of us at the third table even placed our order. All in all, management seemed responsive to our situation (big party, overwhelmed waitress) and the food was tasty. Try the calamari and the spinach pie!

I was there a few weeks ago and I had a great waiter, we try the lasagna it was the worst I ever tasted. A frozen one taste better. Tried there cake and it was good, also great bread. I didnt wanted to leave a review then because I was thinking it was just one plate, but they have great service and its a clean place. So I tried it again today, order difference kind of pizza, wings, cherry cheesecake, and oreo cookie cake. The worst wings I ever had, no taste, no flavor undercooked, and there blue cheese with something horrible in it, made me nauseas. Little Caesars makes wayyyyy better pizza, although you hope that an Italian restaurant would have good pizza but anyway... Good cheesecake, and good cake. But I am finally we are going to give up. Sorry I really tried. In my personal opinion, expensive food, below average food

To put it simple, this was the first and last I will ever visit this Gondolier. My mother ordered the baked lasagna. The marinara sauce tasted terrible! I had the baked manicotti. I asked the waitress if I could get it with Alfredo sauce as I cant eat red sauce. She said it was no problem at all. What she failed to tell me is that they still baked it in a red sauce and just put Alfredo sauce on after it was baked. You could see the red sauce through the Alfredo. I took two bites and that was all. It smelled like an old soured dish cloth! It tasted about the same as well. The service wasnt much better. We were never offered a refill. We eventually got tired of waiting for the bill and walked to the front of the restaurant to pay. Yes, we told the on duty manager about the food to which he said, "huh, okay."

Lackluster at best. I went to eat here after reading good reviews and giving it the benefit of the doubt that the negative reviews may have just been unhappy customers. I had the baked ravioli and it really did taste like tomato paste. I heard so much about their desserts so i tried the strawberry cheesecake...i hate to say that it was only alright. I could definitely make better cheesecake. My husband had the italian sausage sub with fries and thought it was mediocre. Overall, the food reminded me of a golden corral without the buffet style...if only the prices correlated with a golden corral, then i may not have felt jipped for paying what i did. The server was friendly enough. I would not recommend unless you want mediocre food.

The decor was very nice. Service was good. The food was disappointing. The marinara sauce on the chicken parmesan I ordeded didnt have much of a punch. I like robust sauce. There wasnt anything special about the chicken itself. Mh son ordered a sub and it was pretty good, there were six of us dining and the sub was probably the best food on the table that evening. If I want Italian food I will find some where else to go.

One of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. The bread sticks were terrific and the menu had a wide variety of items. My family of four loved everything. Last but not least, the desserts!! OMG! The desserts were to die for. Lots of cheesecakes, pies and cakes. I got the baklava cheesecake. Yes, bakalva cheesecake. It was absolutely delicious. I will go out of my way to eat here again! Worth the trip.

This was so good. Bleu cheese dressing was house made and delicious. Salad was fresh and tasty - tomatoes a lovely ripe red. I got ravioli with half alfredo half marinara and it was perfect. My husband got the Tour of Italy which was delicious and a really good price. Got the chocolate mousse cheesecake MMMM. Quick friendly service, excellent advice. Cant wait to come back and try more!

Bland tasting Italian food. My sauce tasted more like spaghettios then Italian tomato sauce. Sister got a plate with disgusting lemon butter sauce that she said tasted like lemon pledge. They took it back and comped it but still charged her for the soup that came with the meal. Have eaten there several times and not impressed
