It was our first time there and other than my sons hot dog which looked like it had been sitting for a bit every thing was great. We didnt complain about the hot dog my son wasnt really hungry so we didnt want a replacement. So thats why the minus one outta 5. The rest of the food was crazy good ! We heard three other tables talking while we waited on food about how great the shakes and BBQ was so when we got our food we were really happy that every thing said was true. Its very mom and pop meets country diner type atmosphere. I loved the staff that we did meet they were polite and seemed to be enjoying the job. The person that took our order was great he was super funny and very helpful in his suggestions instead of the buy this cause my boss said so kind of sale pitch. We are new to this area no friends yet or family in the area so this is not a friend of a friend kinda post. We were super pleased and very full when we left. I dont normally do reviews but I felt I needed to in this case because we had such a great experience.

8/3/17 I want to start off by saying I love Cookout, I would go to the one in Richmond all the time after work but since I have moved to Louisville this is the one I drive by. I came to this Cookout after going out of my way for them to be closed 30 minutes early, I always want to come here after my shift because it is one of the few places open. This is the last time Ill stop here because Ive tried multiple times with no avail. I saw the guy in there, I guess people want to go home early. If you close at 2:30am say that instead of 3am. Regardless Im done trying as were the other 2 cars behind me.

Ok, so you can order chicken nuggets, quesadillas, chicken wraps, and hush puppies as included side dishes with your combo. How exactly can you beat that!? The food is good too; I was a bit disappointed to only get like 4 onion rings in my side though. Shakes are amazing... My Oreo shake was so thick and creamy I couldnt get it through the straw for 20 minutes!

Came to town for an event and decided to swing by here after the show. This place was very clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Big Double Tray with a few extras toppings and a shake. My meal was quick and the food was fresh! Def wish they had this back in FL.

Horrible. I ordered food for my brother and I. When I got back to the job site I noticed my pulled pork sandwich had no BBQ sauce on it at all. The meat was very dry and tasteless. I ended up eating just the bun and throwing the meat away it was so bad.

They always get my order right. The food is good (I love the Cajun fries). The cost is inexpensive. The staff is friendly and patient. The menu offers a good variety of food options, and they have an incredible selection of milkshake flavors.

Positive atmosphere. Inexpensive food with lots of choices. We didnt know what to expect and left full, happy and with plans to go back soon. Way to go Cook Out staff. You helped make a very memorable 4th of July for us.

Best burgers in town! Taste like they were cooked on the grill in the backyard! Great pickles too!! I dont eat bread so I order mine without a bun and they always get it right! Unlike McDs, whose burgers arecrap anyway!

Food is good, service is usually decent. However they NEVER stay open as late as theyre supposed to. If it werent for that Id say 5 stars...but being open during your listed business hours is important.

Food is ok, its cheap food and you get alot but my body doesnt do well with all the grease. Also the milkshakes is pretty much Ice cream. There is no sipping it down, you have to use a spoon.

It was really good when it first opened, but now the burgers arent really that great, and the milkshakes are just fair. I would probably recommend just going to Chick-fil-A across the street.
