My wife, her sister and I were in town for a family reunion and stopped in for dinner, as a suggestion from someone who lives in the area, and boy were we surprised . This place was FABULOUS! From the moment we sat down the staff made us feel welcomed and immediately brought us some soup beans, or bean soup if your from southwest Detroit like me and hush puppies. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderful home cooked appetizers and then the dinner! Everything was so delicious! My wife and I had the catfish that literally will melt in your mouth and my sister in law had the country fried steak! From the moment we walked in, to the last bite we were so impressed! More restaurants should take a lesson from the Catfish Cabin! We would recommend the food to anyone, whether you like fish or not! My wife doesnt even eat fish and loved her catfish dinner! Love the Catfish Cabin and we will definitely go back!

This is good food if you want some southern stile food. When you set down you get a pot of beans, coleslaw, and hush puppies. They keep bringing them whenever you want more. With a meal you also get another side. So ordering the all you can eat fish is all most silly. The catfish fleets are 7 oz each so getting 2 and all those sides is more than enough if you eat a lot. Most people would be fine with 1. Service was friendly and down home stile. She gave us recommendations on how to order and a to go cup for our drink with out us asking. Nothing fancy but good.

My bill was $30.00 but ended up being $300.00! While they refunded my money back on my debit card, they failed to tell me that it would be 3-5 business days before its actually put back in my bank account... So now I have overdraft fees all of which are associated with this expensive debit mistake made by catfish cabin. The lady in charge told me that its not her fault that I have overdraft fees and shes not paying them. I will never eat at this place ever again and Im telling everyone about this ordeal. AND I have PROOF!!!

Amazing food, good atmosphere, great service, and, once again, fantastic food. Best catfish I ever had. The breading was perfect, and it was cooked just right. Highly recommend this restaurant, for anyone who has taste foods.

Its a quaint little resturaunt. We ended up visiting before the lunch rush and got our food very quickly. Before you order, they serve you coleslaw and beans in a cast-iron pot. The food portions are big while tasting good.
