A great small restaurant to visit for breakfast when youre in the area and feeling something different than Frischs. Independently owned, Traditions has fantastic breakfast foods that wont disappoint. They offer bacon, sausage patties, links, as well as goetta or ham for an extra charge. Their breakfast bowls are definitely recommended as well - like most things here, the breakfast bowls give huge portions! Ive never had anything from their non-breakfast menu, its really hard to order a burger with such good breakfast foods. Staff is always very friendly. I would rate 5 stars, but there are just a couple issues I have with Traditions. First, they tend to be fairly packed and busy whenever I go. It may take 10+ minutes to receive food. Second, seating in Traditions is very limited (also why they are also pretty much full every time I go). There also really isnt seating for parties larger than 5 people, so if coming with a large group be prepared to sit separately or wait until they can piece together 2 open tables...which might take a while. If you like fresh-made breakfast and arent feeling a run to Frischs, Traditions is a great place to check out. Highly recommended

I have dined at Traditions Family Restaurant several times and Ive always had a delicious meal. However, I was there for dinner a couple of weeks ago and after noticing a dinner served at another table I decided that I would order the same. The open-faced roast beef with mashed potatoes. Well, it was out of this world good! The beef was fork-tender and smothered with a savory gravy and the mashed potatoes smooth and seasoned just right. I opted for a side of garden salad which complemented the meal. And best of all I had the homemade peanut butter pie for dessert. So good! After inquiring about the pie recipe I was told it was "easy to make". Well, for the simple ingredients recited, it sure tasted like a gourmet dessert to me. I think I surprised my dinner partner that I ate every bit of dinner and could only eat a few bites of pie. (saved the rest for later;) The staff is friendly and the restaurant spacious and very comfortable. Trust me when I say, when you want a great home-cooked meal head straight to Traditions Family Restaurant in Alexandria, Ky. You wont be disappointed! Call ahead for opened hours of hospitality.

They are open 7 days a week 7AM, (or is it 6:30?) till 2PM, even some holidays like Memorial Day. They are open one evening a week on Friday and have dinner specials. I almost always have the skillet bowl breakfast, but friends have other things and everyone I take there thinks the food is fabulous... My wife likes the patty melt for lunch. My favorite local place in southern Campbell county.

My family absolutely loves this restaurant and they have the best peanut butter pie in town! The food is Hometown cooking and its always delicious you will not regret trying this restaurant. Also the staff is always extremely nice and courteous. On Fridays they are open for dinner and they have awesome meals for great prices.

Fabulous breakfast and lunch dining. Delicious home cooked meals. I go for breakfast and get a breakfast skillet. Either option is big. I get a large and take part home for breakfast the next day. Fabulous reheated! I highly recommend you try this little home in the wall.

Were regulars there. Foods delicious and the service is usually very quick despite their breakfast and lunch rush. Great prices and a decent selection. They always have a new homemade desert daily. Please stop by this spot its the best.

Biscuits and gravy were disappointing. The gravy is just sawmill despite advertising sausage gravy. Overall good price but I personally left disappointed.
