I WILL GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. This was my third time there, I liked the food the first two times, I liked the food this time too but their service was very poor. It was a Sunday evening and we went there at 7.40PM. We were waiting at the entrance, to be seated and no one attended to us for 20 mins. We could see empty tables but we werent asked to sit. There were two waiters who kept walking past and didnt even bother to make eye contact. There were two other parties waiting up behind us and and three more waiting for take away. Finally I got hold of one of the waiters and demanded a table for 3. We were seated and given the menu at 8PM but it was another 20mins to get an opportunity to talk to the waiter again. Meanwhile a party that was standing in line behind us got seated and their waiter took their order and served them drinks. Our when he came at 8.21PM didnt bother to ask us what we wanted to drink, just brought three glasses of water and asked if we were ready to order. At this point we just wanted food so we went ahead and ordered what we wanted, didnt want to talk to the waiter about the treatment we were receiving. The only good part of this visit was that food was served in 15mins, around 8.35PM and it did taste good. The waiter again was nowhere to be seen, to check if the food was okay and if we needed anything more or if he could get us our check. I had to call out at 9.15PM and ask for my check and move to the counter to pay and leave. I had a very strong feeling that this was a racist discrimination by the restaurant servers towards me, I am from an Indian origin. The people who were waiting behind us in line and who got attended to earlier and who got food before we did were Asian. Or maybe the servers just thought that I would not tip them as much as the other parties. Whatever, I will never go to this place again and I will discourage all friends from going there. The food is good, but the service is the worst I have experienced anywhere. P.S: I did not tip to show how I was ill treated and I would have like to give a negative tip for the service that they provided.

I went on a Wednesday night with my boyfriend and the place was packed! I ordered the Thai iced tea which was delicious and also looked very appetizing. We ordered the lemongrass soup with shrimp, which is supposed to contain all 4 of the flavor profiles: sweet, savory, salty, and bitter.. and it did! The shrimp were cooked perfectly and had so much juiciness! Also we ordered the Chilled Rice Noodle Salad that had peanut sauce, chicken, carrots, and sprouts I believe. The peanut sauce was decadent and I wish there was more! The fish cakes were also ordered. Unfortunately I was reminded of chicken nuggets as far as sight and taste, but how else do you serve them? They were served with a sweet & sour sauce that had pickled cucumber I believe. Also, the seafood dish with a red curry was ordered. We requested a 6 on the spice scale, which was perfect for me, but not so much for my bf. He drank 3 glasses of water. It seems the more authentic the cuisine, the more spicy it is! But the desserts were the best! We ordered sticky rice and mango. The rice had some sort of simply sugar syrup drizzled over it that had some coconut milk in it along with some sliced mango on the side. It was soooo decadent. Better yet, we also got the taro root pudding. This smelled like heaven and was so savory!! Im set on going to an Asian market to see if they sell anything like it there!!! It was a great experience, even though there are plenty of other Thai cuisine places that may be better. For Cincinnati, this is a decent restaurant and I highly recommend it!!

I recently had a lunch meeting at Lemongrass with a friend and colleague. I have to say that I was fairly impressed with the place, the food, as well as the service and I had an overall pleasurable experience. I really had no expectations other than the fact that I knew they served Thai cuisine. Upon arrival, the restaurant doesnt really look like much. It is an older building with no frills, just a simple awning with the Lemongrass name. As I entered I was greeted by one of three staff members eagerly waiting to greet and seat. After sitting, I was greeted by my server and offered a glass of water without asking. I ordered the Royal Noodles with Shrimp and a Chicken Spring Roll. Our food came quickly and tasted fantastic. The service was very attentive and never overbearing. The check was appropriately delivered as we neared the completion of our plates. I would highly recommend any fans of Thai or other Asian cuisines to visit this restaurant and try it for your self. I doubt you will be disappointed. Nothing fancy here, just plain good eats.

I had a baked tofu in a peanut sauce and Debi had a mixed vegetable dish. I loved mine; Debis had a lot of Lemongrass in it and the flavor was overwhelming, resulting in her not liking hers so much. Our friends, who both ordered meat dishes, seemed to like theirs. There are a lot of vegetarian options. This is because the menu has a bunch of curry and noodle options that you can get with tofu instead of meat in addition to the actual vegetarian options. The result is about 30 possible vegetarian choices. The prices were pretty reasonable. I think well go back and try some different dishes; and Im sure Debi will stay away from the Lemongrass the next time. I recommend it.

I shouldnt be in there as often as I do, but I cant help it! This place is owned (so Ive been told) by the same family that owns Wild Ginger around the corner. A few years ago, Wild Ginger was the place to go. One day, out of the blue, the food was different. It didnt have the same great flavor. I decided to go on a search for a new Thai restaurant and decided to try Lemon Grass. The food is suburb. I havent had the opportunity to dine in but I will. It is very cozy and simple. I have take out several times a week. Please, whatever you are doing, Lemon grass chefs, DONT STOP!!

Lemon Grass stands out as one of the best Thai food restaurants in all of Cincinnati. While I have only been there twice, the food is by far one of the best choices in all of Cincinnati. The one dish I recently had was a seafood platter with rice which was excellent. The app., such as the Golden Bags, potstickers, and dumplings, were great as well. Unfortunately, there is just not much space available for seating in the restaurant. But if you want some of the best service and Thai food come to this restaurant.

My Husband and I stopped here for an early dinner before the Garth Brooks concert at US Bank arena. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff was dressed in German clothing and live German music was played, first by an accordion player and then by a small band. The german beer is brewed in house and there is a good selection. They have a full bar also for those that dont like beer. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. We would definitely return!!
