About a year ago, a friend of mine and I decided to start trying lesser known, non chain restaurants around town. One of the first ones we went to was Mediterranean Grill, and Ive been back countless times for pretty much every occasion imaginable since then. Everything is just marvelous. The food is fantastic - from the complimentary sweet biscuits to appetizers like the pita and hummus to every entree Ive tried (my favorite is their fattoush with chicken), there isnt a bad thing on the menu, and all of it is very reasonably priced. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is very nice, too. One of the main things that sets Mediterranean Grill apart and keeps me coming back, though, is the service. Ive never had a single bad server (though my favorite is Carmen - she is just a doll and always so positive and sweet!), and have several times had the owner personally briefly attend to my party. If you havent been to Mediterranean Grill already, youre missing out and you need to fix that!

This has been my favorite restaurant for many years. The food is always phenomenonal and the people are friendly. We love the servers Nicole and Stephanie, but all of them have always been great - not sure how, but they always manage to get the best waiters and waitresses to work here! I recommend just about anything on the menu. I always order the Mediterranean combo plate and a falafel with hummus. The ambiance is nice, everything is very clean and it is overall a welcoming place. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. I have never been so consistently impressed with any other restaurant in Wichita. Plus, it is located right next to Towne East Mall, so you can have a delicious meal after you go shopping! I always recommend Mediterranean Grill to everyone, and I hope that anyone reading my review visits this wonderful establishment. It is a true gem of Wichita and it is nice to spend money at a locally owned restaurant rather than a chain or franchise.

edit: 7/27/2015 I have loved this place for years and yet again they live up to their high standards. I recently got married and had them cater our wedding. Their food/presentation/execution was all around perfect. I honestly could not ask for better service and I really do appreciate this company and their owner Mustafa. I highly recommend them for any event because they can cook anything you want upon request and do a great job at a reasonable price. Thanks for everything, I will be coming back. I looked at this place and laughed when I first saw it but decided to try it out and I wont regret it and I go there at least once a month now. pros -food is authentic -good choice of food -price is not bad on anything -good atmosphere for a date cons -sometimes gets busy and loud (only happened a couple times but then again any place that is packed tends to be good)

We arrived for dinner was seated right away. waitress got us our drinks quickly and offered suggestions for wine. The best salmon every. Beat talipa. Both cooked excellent. Lots of flavor. Salad was fresh and had just the right amount of dressing. Food was delicious and hot. The waitress was incredibly awesome I had surgery Monday on right shoulder and she made sure things were where I could reach them and cut up my food easily. She got everything right very knowledgeable about the menu and the seasoning. She is an awesome waitress and she is an asset to the restaurant. If you get the opportunity visit the restaurant you will not be disappointed. And have a definite new restaurant that you have Wil want to come back time after time.

Id almost given up ordering lamb at restaurants, and then I tried the lamb kebab at this place. Oh man, is it good. So good. Im getting cravings just writing about it. The hummus and baba ghanouj are also excellent, and service is consistently great, but what really puts this place over the top for me are the complimentary biscuits. Sweet, almost like shortcake, they arrive at the table warm and served with butter and might seem like an odd choice for an appetizer, but youll quickly get over it, because they are heavenly. We once asked if we could order some to eat as our dessert, and the server brought us an entire basket full at no charge. Love this place!

If youre looking to try something different for dinner in Wichita, and love food from the Mediterranean (i.e. Greek, Lebanese, etc) or are interested in trying something new, this is the place to go. The food has always been great, the staff always cheery & helpful, and the restaurant itself always well maintained. The only criticism I can give is that the location is just a tad bit odd as its located behind the mall, and at first glance, looks like part of the parking lot for the Target that used to be nearby. Food: Excellent Decor: Good Service: Excellent

AWESOME! That is the word that best describes this place. I had never really heard anything about this place until trying it because of a Groupon that I had bought. Oh my is this place awesome. The food is awesome, the staff, the prices, just everything about this place is awesome! Every since our first visit we have been back several times and the exact same great food and service everytime. Thanks and keep up the good quality of service and we will keep coming back.

Good service. Combo plate was just fair. Hummus is good. Dolmides very good served warm. Tabouli ok but needed more lemon juice. Feta is sharp tastes more like roquefort. Fresh chopped tomatoes are good. Then canned artichokes with canned red peppers and olives. Falafel used dark meal which I didnt care for. Babaganoush had Chipotle flavor again not my taste. My husband liked the chicken shawrma. Pita bread is warm. Plenty of parking. Easy to find from highway.

We walked in and were immediately impressed with the atmosphere and decor. We were seated promptly and our server took our drink orders were taken quickly. The house biscuits they brought after we ordered our food were AMAZING. Then our food came, and we continued to be impressed. The chicken schawarma lunch special was delicious. Not a single complaint about our visit. The food and the service were top notch. Our server was Stephanie. She did a fantastic job.

If you are looking for traditional Mediterranean food, you wont find it here. They use ground meat for their kabobs, which is not normal. Their side salad used vegetables that were not very fresh, had pickles in it which is also not normal, and only had a light sprinkle of feta cheese. They served cornbread rolls at the beginning of the meal that, while very good, is also not Mediterranean. The customer service was very good.

This place is very good. I always get the Gyro Wrap when I bring the family for dinner. The two fellas who run this establishment are very polite and go the extra mile. The price is range is very good for this sort of food. You could drive another 4 miles down Rock rd. to go to a place in Bradley Fair, but you will pay a little bit more for a little bit less. Plus this place has more space than the other one.

I had the chicken shwarma with a fattoush salad both of which were spectacular! Tried the hummus as well, wasnt quite as impressed since I have gotten the chance to try so many different types all over town-still good but not my fave. The prices are a bit high but not too bad. I especially loved the salad with chopped dill pickle included yum!
