One dollar sign?!? More like 3. Heard the pizza was good but have not tried it yet, but I DID have the lasagne. While it wasnt bad, it was very small and over $10, and came with NO bread. I wish I would have took a picture, it looked small and WAS small. Abut the size of a piece of bread, dimension-wise, like 5" square. About 2 inches high, very disappointing. Also just tasted like regular old lasagne, nothing special. Come on guys, add a couple more layers, some meat and bread FCOL, dress it up! I left hungry. Will go back though b/c I seen someone else get the pizza and it looked pretty big for $10. I guess pizza is their specialty, dont recommend anything else. Nice atmosphere, go after 2pm to get a seat.

Great food but a terrible staff. I had a terrible experience with the whole crew. The person that took our order was rude, unfriendly, and not helpful in the least. He failed to point out different options on the menu( different sizes of beer for instance). Our waitress was inattentive and slow. I had to go to the counter finally for an extra plate and silverware. I find the whole ordering system very cumbersome as well. How do you tip before you know how your service will be? Ordering extras such as desserts and drinks require running your card multiple times as you must prepay. I will not return even though I think the food is great. What a shame.

My husband and I eat at Il Vicino once a week, on average, usually for lunch or on the weekend. This is my favorite restaurant, the food is fresh and consistently great. They have a wonderful and attentive wait staff. I usually order the combo (small pizza, 1/2 salad and drink) for $10. FYI, they let you sub a small calzone for the small pizza in the combo. Though it is a "pay before you sit" place, you can order coffee or dessert from any of the waiters without returning to the counter. I love how this restaurant is nestled between College Hill and Crown Heights. Il Vicino ("the neighbor") is a fitting name for this restaurant.

I and my wife are going to this place from last 2 yrs and that too once or some time twice a week.They have the best pizza I have ever had till now. This place is really awesome for any occasion weather its just a regular lunch/dinner or some special occasion. We like the variety of the brick oven pizzas and pastas. Following are my ratings: Food Quality - 100% Taste - 100% Price - Economical Menu Variety - Great Service - 100%Very Friendly & Quick Wait Time - Minimal We both love this restaurant a lot and hope one day we will see IL Vicino across the entire US :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!!!

This is probably one of my favorite places to eat in Wichita. I prefer the location on Douglas rather than the one in Bradley Faire, but they are both good. The Pizza is very original, they have great beer (New Belgium Products), and the Dessert is wonderful (as well as their coffee)! I enjoy paying first, and then eating so you dont have to wait for a cheque. However, if you want something later, the staff is always more than happy to serve you later and bill you for it. Always a great experience!

I ordered a Pizza and was asked if i wanted a house salad, and bread sticks? I said yes the total came to about 20.00 we got our food it looked to me and my wife like there was about 2.00 in food.total..the salad was just some lettuce, and bread sticks were cheap also small pizza w/very little toppings..felt like we got ripped..should have went to a Pizza place I knew..

Order at the counter. There are a number of choices of salads, pizzas, sandwiches and dessert and drinks. Service is usually fast and attentive. They serve beer and wine. Food is always hot out of the wood fired oven. Servings are ample and tasty. Music is usually pleasant smooth jazz or low key. I love the place. It is casual dining in comfortable chairs.

Granted 5 stars may sound high for our first visit but and my wife and I have been wanting a cannolis. Since we are new to the area we went with Google to find Italian restaurants. Based on the reviews we found Vicino to be the restaurant to try. We had calzones and then ordered our cannolis for dessert and they were absolutely fantastic

I love Il Vicino, My girlfriend and I eat here quite frequently. Service is always good, and they are usually very quick. I hardly finish my salad before my pizza gets there. Ive probably honestly been there over 100 times. We even order their salad dressings to use at home. Ive always been happy with the service after I left. Its great

This is my favorite spot in Wichita for dinners with friends and family. They have good vegetarian options -- I love to order the Melanzanne pizza with kalmatta olives added. The spinach salad is good too. Not crazy about the calzones or lasagna. Friendly staff, good pizza, and outdoor seating available.

This location is fairly small, so be prepared to deal with small, crowded tables and lines during lunch hours and weekends. But the lines of customers testify to how delicious the food is here! You can get a pizza, side salad and beverage for a reasonable price. The best local pizza in Wichita!

Great staff, nice decor, good alcohol and food selections. Seating is a little crowded, but it is a small restaurant. Patio is a nice touch for the busy hours. The food is always good and in my numerous visits Im surprised at the consistency of the meals provided. Highly recommend.

Give this place a try if you havent. The pizza is great, but I tried one of the flatbread sandwiches. It was good, but then I had an idea. What if I could just get the bread and dip it into the olive oil? Hmmm, might have to make a special request on my next visit.

This restaurant has great food and great service. Our server was Sarah and she was great. The only thing I would change is ordering before you sit down. I like to sit down and look over the menu before you order. I feel rushed the other way around.

Gorgeous pizzas perfectly made. Great service. Love getting the combo of half salad and small pizza. Very family friendly. Plus the reward scheme is brilliant. Both Il Vicino locations are excellent. Never had an issue with either one.

5 Stars is maybe a touch high but 4 wouldnt do it justice, there was literally nothing to complain about. Service was good and the pizza was excellent. Paninis also were delicious. A must stop, if you want pizza in Wichita!

Wow! This was an amazing experience! Fast, delicious pizza! Several specialty pizzas along with the regular selections. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed. Theres also mouthwash in the restrooms!

The only thing better than a Fresh pizza at Il Vicino, a Fresh pizza to-go. I dont know why, but for some reason whenever I get a pizza 2go, by the time i get home, its just that much better.

My wife and I, as well as many of our staff and clients have frequented Il Vicino many times. The food is exceptional. I feel noticeable well-being after eating there. My body loves it !!!
