2nd time here since they opened. First time was new so gave benefit of the doubt; however, came back at 230 in the afternoon and ordered 2 bacon burgers and 2 fries. There were 7 other people here but still took almost 10 minutes and when opening the burgers, there was no bacon. Told the staff and they thought it was funny and ultimately handed us a handfull of bacon in tin foil. Cold bacon in tin foil. So, after the hilarity ensued on their part, we start to notice a girl about 4 or 5 who we thought was a customers child. She is still here and continues to wander around because she is the child of an employee. I get situations happen but when she distracts the employees and is getting all over the restaurant, there might be an issue and management needs to evaluate their policies at this place. Loved Five Guys when I was living out East but it just isnt the same here.

Tonight I was waiting in line for sometime waiting for burgers to get cooked, others were waiting as well. Once 4 patties were done they were made into 2 burgers for MY order, the guy with long blonde hair decided to grab these burgers for himself and said im taking these for my break later, he took them in back and returned to his station. Even the cook told him he should have waited since we were all waiting watching him take burgers from MY order for himself when there was a backup of customers. I could have left 5 minutes faster. This individual then rudely yelled my number right to my face. Bad attitude, Not impressed at all. This might be one of the weeds to weed out.

This is NOT the 5 guys that Im used to. It was good, but not for the price. Fry oil isnt as good as it used to be, which reflects how their fries taste. The burgers are way too expensive, and the menus should note if there are two patties or one. The atmosphere in there is crowded too, and with nothing to look at or do. Just barely ok. I could tell that everyone in there was thinking the same thing I was...its sad because I really wanted to have this be my new fav place. Oh well, what can ya do?..

1st stop was perfect I have never eaten a better burger, no fries was disappointing but I trucked on. 2nd stop had to be the worst burger I had eaten, from a chain dedicated to burgers nonetheless. The plain double cheeseburger, which had actually come as a single patty(with no cheese), was so soggy I might as well have eaten a can of Alpos on a bun. Buns were soggy as a result, not surprising. The fries were fantastic I recommend the Cajun style fries they were delicious thank you.

Wayy too pricey. Being a business/marketing major, my thoughts go crazy when I think of the scheme of 5 guys. Actually did a whole case study on the founders of the restaurant 3 years ago, right before they officially announced their new location in dubuque. Very wholesome family story. However, the burger didnt jump out at me. And although i admire the fresh handcut fries in store on site etc etc, theyre too thick not cooked for enough time.

Been to Five Guys in other states that were great, but this one is not as good. Ordered a cheeseburger with toppings and ketchup. My burger had so much ketchup on it that it was pouring out the bottom. I couldnt taste anything but ketchup the entire time I was eating my burger, it even overpowered the cheese. I had to remove most of my toppings to try to reduce the amount of ketchup on it. A lot of money for a burger a couldnt taste.

Five Guys, while carrying a large price tag, always delivers the bang for your buck with their delicious burgers and copious amounts of fries. Relatively fast service and their simple menu makes for a quick trip if youre in a rush, but if youre looking to sit down, their classic red and white colour scheme is quite pleasing to the eye and the free peanuts are also very tasty and enjoyable to snack on.

Best fries ever, like the many options for drinks. Posted signage says burgers are made well done but mine was far from that. The middle was very pink, too much so for my taste but time constraints made me suck it up and eat around that part. Otherwise great experience. Next time I will be specific about getting a properly cooked burger.

This is probably my favorite burger joint in Madison. Always looked forward to going when I was in there. I walked into the Dubuque location and there was one person sweeping and another at the assembly counter on a tablet. I was the only person in the whole place and I had to call for attention. The food was good when I got it so 2 stars.

I was shocked how big the burgers were and the homemade Frys all cooked in peanut oil was awesome! And the free peanuts were a nice touch!A bit expensive but the food was cooked to order plus free add ons... around 10 different pile high choices for the burgers was amazing.. and outside eating with music was a great choice!

So...the food tasted great and was filling ... but...it was pretty expensive for what type and how much we got. The burger tasted like a burger I would have made at home and the fries were basically tasteless but slightly salty. Good food but not worth the price.

A Good burger with some great fries. The cajun ones are even better. If you order a regular you will get plenty. Its pricey and a little on the slower side. But where else are you going to eat peanuts in the shell while you wait for your burger and fries.

Burger is good but its a knock off of Wendys. Got to Wendys for half the price. A combo with drink is over $15. Thats small fries and small drink. Burger I give it a 5 star however you can go over to wendys for alot cheaper. Bad review is because of pricing.

Arrived shortly after they opened and they breezed through a line. We received great service and high quality food, the team seemed to be a well-oiled machine and quickly served about 30+ customers in our time of visit. Great job!

heard there was a debate on social media between who is the best burger joint "five guys" or "in -n- out" , mystery solved! Five guys shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence as in -n- out. One word: disappointed

First time at a Five Guys and was very disappointed, our fries were cool and very under cooked, burgers were good, but not for the price of them. Wont be going back to a Five Guys just too expensive for what you get.

Lines can be long since it -just- opened, but delicious burgers and hot dogs. Portions run on the big size so a small or regular is more than enough for me and Im a big eater! Prices are a bit steep though...

Two visits now they have been out of fries. This is unacceptable and I dont think I want to try it enough to come back. Get it figured out or fire your inventory guy. FYI, there is a nice Chipotle next door.
